Resurrection [Daxam & MegaraFoxfire]

[Daxam]

Isaac wasn't sure what to be surprised about: the fact that there's someone out there who has special abilities like him; a dog just spoke to him; or that Avery and the man's eyes were glowing as they stared at each other. Suddenly, and against his will, he's on the move. As he runs, he realizes that Vincent managed to gain enough control to affect his motor functions. Vincent makes him draw more iron from the ground, adding it to the gauntlet, until it takes the shape of a large blade jutting from the back of his hand. He jumps into the air and slashes downward, cutting the man's arm off in one smooth stroke. Surprisingly, no blood comes from the wound, but he doesn't pay it any attention. Avery and the man fall to the ground, but neither get up. Isaac takes a step toward Avery, but is pushed aside by Bane. What just happened? Isaac asks Vincent.

I had to take over because you were just standing there like an idiot! Vincent snaps.

He takes a step toward Bane and, although he feels insane for doing so, he asks him, "Is she alright?"

Avery was shaking, her eyes wide open and still glowing. Bane growled and said "He pushed her too far...she's stuck. Her mind shadow is still going even though she lost eye contact. You need to find her shades and put them on her, but after you either kill that guy or knock him out. Once that end of the line is cut, her shades can cut the rest of the link off" Avery was starting to shake more and more violently, the glowing getting more intense.

[Daxam]

Isaac immediately starts looking for her glasses. He spots them on the ground about twenty feet away. He runs over, picks them up, and slips them over her eyes. Then, he stands and walks over to the prone body of their attacker. Kill him, Isaac, Vincent urges. He's the one behind everything. Kill him and no one will have to worry about never being seen again.

Isaac shakes his head. No, I don't think it's that simple. I don't know why, but I think someone else is pulling the strings. We need him to fill in some blanks.

He kneels and places his hands around the man's neck, but he doesn't strangle him. Instead, he presses down on the sides of the man's neck, cutting off circulation to his head. Within seconds, the man falls into unconsciousness. He turns toward Bane and asks, "Did that do it?"

Avery gasped and the shaking stopped. She moaned and her head fell to the side, passing out from the stress her mind had gone thru. Bane nodded, sniffing her and licking her cheek. "Ya...that did it...but she'll be out for a while...and then she will have to finish the job she started. If that guy has the answers we need, then she's the one to get them. The Mind Shadow is already there...she will want to finish it..." He sat down and said "Quick thinking back there...whoever is sharing that head of yours"

[Daxam]

Isaac sits down next to Avery's prone body, sighing heavily. He looks over at the man, the one who started all of this. His gaze drifts over to the stump where his arm used to be. Why doesn't he bleed?

You're guess is as good as mine, Vincent replies.

"It was him that wanted to kill the guy," Isaac says to Bane. Then, he stops. "Wait, how did you know about Vincent?"

Bane chuckled and said "My nose. I kept smelling two auras instead of one...so when the other guy jumped in, I knew there had to be two of you...Vincent huh? Well, thank you Vincent for saving my partnet from being strangled. We need to get them both out of sight...and Avery somewhere safe where she can rest for a bit...the loft might be a bit far to take both of them..."

[Daxam]

"Don't worry," Isaac says, standing up. "I've got a place around here."

He gestures to the man and a cloud of carbon surrounds him. The carbon attaches itself to his body and he starts floating. He raises the unconscious body up to the roof of a building farther down the street. Then, he turns around and picks Avery up. He walks over to the building and motions for Bane to follow. After Bane meets up with him, Isaac summons a pillar of iron, lifting them up to the roof. Stepping off of the iron, he motions over to the iron dome, just large enough for one, and says, "I know it's not the Ritz, but it'll have to do. I'll have to make it bigger to accommodate the three of us, but it'll work."

Setting Avery down inside on his sleeping bag, he presses his hands against the sides and concentrates. Soon, the dome widens to fit all three of them comfortably.

Bane walked inside, clearly impressed. "We'll then....your one of the gifted we have been hearing so much about....how are you doing that? And while I'm asking, why do you have two minds in one body?" Avery was still out of it, her breathing slowly returning to its normal pace

[Daxam]

"Well, I can answer your first question, no problem," Isaac answers. "The best I figure, it's a form of telekinesis. I think, it happens. It also may have something to do with this."

Isaac slips his overcoat off and shows Bane the markings on his right arm. "These glow whenever I use my powers. I'm not exactly sure what it means, but as long as it doesn't hurt me, I don't mind."

He starts to put his coat back on, but stops. Instead, he lays it over Avery, using it as a blanket. "As for your second question, I can't answer it. You see, I don't remember anything before a couple weeks ago. My first memory is waking up in the woods, feeling like I was beat to a pulp. I only know my name thanks to Vincent. But, that's all he's been able to help with in that department. What about you? Why can you talk? How'd you meet up with her?"

Bane laid down and said "well, when I was a pup, I was a timber wolf. My pack was killed by a group of hunters but I barely got away. Near death I found shelter under a highway pass. The next thing I knew arms were around me. I barely opened my eyes to see Avery holding me, smiling at me. She saved my life and I've been with her ever since. I have these powers because, Avery believes, because after I had been with her for a little bit she got into a fight. She got hurt pretty badly and I try to lick her wounds clean. Since then I started changing until I became this. Ave thinks its because I have her blood in my veins now" he looked over at her and said "she's stubborn...but she's my best friend. And I couldn't bare to lose her....and tonight....we would have"
