1920's-40's Mafia/Detective roleplay interest check.

I JUST joined this site and I am not new to roleplaying. I, myself, would RP in thridperson ("___Ran to the store") and I would want to do a roleplay with an L.A. Noire style hit. Create your own detective or mobster and roleplay with the story. Design a back-story and why you are who you are. Your weapons would be guns in that era (Tommy guns, BabyFace's Shotgun, switchblades, S&W Revolvers, etc...) Depending what character you are, you get whatever weapons they would have. I know this is a very messy/sloppy started thread but I typed this out very quickly. I am not the best with this but here could be the characters:

Name: Micheal "Micky" Monelli
Age: mid 20's
Position: Mobster Hitman
Weapon of choice: Revolver and a dagger.
Micky is the son of Cesare Monelli, second in command to one of the most powerful mobsters in the city. His mother is a proud mob wife, his older brother is also a hitman, his sister is married to a Don. To say the mafia is in his blood is an understatement.
Mick is slightly unhinged, enjoying the violent side of his job a bit too much. When not executing hits, he's the family's go-to interrogator/torturer. But despite his thirst for blood, Mick is a charming and loyal gentleman. His top priorities are loyalty to his family and boss, his debonair good looks (naturally) and respect to women. He draws the line at hurting or killing women.
Otherwise he's a perfect little mobster, faithful to his boss and ready to kill whoever upsets his little family.

Here is mine, I just thought of it.
Name: Edward "Eddie" Reese
Age: 20's-early 30's
Position: Detective
Weapon of choice: S&W (Smith and Wesson) Pistol.
Eddie's mother died of a disease unknown at the time and his father was shot by an unknown mobster not long ago. He has a beautiful wife and a young 10 year old son who idles him and wants to be a detective just like him when he grows up. Eddie has a love for the law and justice. He is still trying to find the man that killed his father just a few years ago. Other than his wife and son, his family is split up or dead as he had an older brother that was killed in the military. He is a by-the-book officer and never breaks the rules. He is a nice man that only shoots to kill if it is needed, otherwise his job is up to the cuffs. (Sorry it is so sloppy xD and I am a girl, I am roleplaying as a guy this once however)
