Ivailo's Bar and Grill has a long and proud history. For the past 40 years, it's been supplying the community of Shelburne, Ontario, Canada with homecooked food as well as exotic meats such as deer, moose and others. Unfortunately, it’s always had a dark secret. The Ivailo family are werewolves. There were rumours in the town for long periods of time, but nothing ever substantiated.

It took a long time, but you were finally able to make it there when you heard that the family took in werewolves in need and trained them to control their instincts.

A bit of a (hopefully) different take on the werewolf pack story.

Hola everyone!
So here is the OOC.
Before I start with character sheets I want everyone to know a few things.
The werewolves will be The bi-pedal kind, I am not talking about The WolfMan style. I'm talking about this:

If there is an issue with that, then maybe this isn't the RP for you.
Now I'm not saying everyone has to look like a body builder, obviously the size proportions will be according to your character, if your character is skinny then as a werewolf they would be skinnier but a little more bulky than normal, If your character is fat then as a wolf they would be built but not defined like the image, so on an so forth.

The werewolves don't have to strictly move around on two, they are faster while running on fours. But that's the general idea.

The only reason I like the werewolves in this way is because it's more challenging for the characters to hide themselves from human's and loved ones, it makes the struggle harder. I also really like the idea of it being a curse, so it's this monstrous thing that nobody wants to become. With the regular looking wolves it wouldn't be as horrible and hard to control. I'm not saying that some characters might not enjoy the bloodshed and strength that comes with it but most probably wouldn't...
That's just how I see it though.

The werewolves, like in most stories are forced to turn during the full moon but that doesn't mean they can't turn at other times. Their emotions play a big roll in this aswell, meaning if they are angry or scared it is easier for them to trigger a change. The changes don't get any less painful with time, the characters just become more tolerant of it.
They are weakened and can be killed very easily by silver, and it leaves scars easiest. Upon contact it sears the flesh and hurts like hell, if it enters the system they are practically left for dead.

Born wolves can control themselves better than bitten wolves, and bitten wolves are a little more vicious than born wolves.

Let's try to stick to this if we can guys, thank you.


Now there are a few plot ideas to get things started, but the choice of the order will slightly depend on everyone. If there are people who would like to post about finding and just joining the pack that works, if there are people who are interested in already being in the pack that's cool to. If people will be joining the pack then we will focus on that for a bit. From there the next little challenge would be, after everyone is settled in, a large event happening at the restaurant. A lot of people being involved as the characters would have to deal with being nervous, getting yelled at and trying to keep everything at bay.

Something that would last a little longer would be the local university's biology students having a feild excursion to the pack's hunting ground. It would be something that could take place over a week or so. Possibly during the three days of the full moon. Everyone would have to resist the urge to hunt and kill the students and professors, not saying that it might not happen, but that would be the whole point. Not to reveal themselves and not to kill the humans.

A plot that could last longer, taking place later on would involve a small rival pack within the territory. There would be fights, attempts at keeping them out. Making sure they don't kill the humans and whatnot. There could also be the possibility of some characters wanting to join the rival pack, maybe they like the freedom or rules that they have compared to Ivailo's pack. Som self realization and whatnot.

That's pretty much everything that's in order at the moment.

If any of the member's have ideas, feel free to mention them. We could totally work things in.

Like last time I'm looking to have all the players involved only be werewolves. Exceptions could be made but I am difficult to convince.


I will be putting the Alpha's CS's here so everyone knows what they look like and how they would act, just in case your character speaks to them or interacts with them. They are NPC's so don't wait for someone else to post as the Alpha when you talk to them.

Name: Andrei Ivailo
Age: 46
Apperance:

Personality: Andrei is a very kind man. He speaks his mind when needed and doesn't often get angered. He is a very authoritative figure whose presence alone usually makes one obey his words.

Background: Andrei is by blood a werewolf, the genes have been passed down for several generations within his family. Although born in Bulgaria he has many relatives in Canada, not all possessing the same genes but well aware of the family's bloodline. He used to live in the city but eventually he moved to the town of Shelburne to open up a restaurant, something he had always wanted to do. It was within this town that he met his wife, Sasha

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Being the Alpha male, Andrei has a certain air of authority that surrounds him which he can use to his advantage in controlling a situation that gets out of hand. After many years of experience he is able to control his changes with a fair amount of ease. He has a very distinguishing scar that runs down from his left temple, diagonally towards his lip.


Name: Sasha Ivailo

Personality: Sasha like her husband Andrei is a very kind, caring and happy woman. She tries to avoid any type of confrontation that could end in violence and prefers to be peaceful in resolving a issues. Although she does say what needs to be said but it will always be put in a nice manner.

Background: Sasha was not born a werewolf like Andrei. She was attacked and bitten. Her boyfriend at the time was able to save her by shooting the beast that attacked her, but the curse had been transferred to her already. When things started getting out of hand with Sasha that's when she made the decision to leave. Although native to Fredericton, New Brunswick she made the trip to Ontario and hoped to live better within the small town of Shelburne. Finding Andrei she soon figured out that they shared the same secret, something that only made the bond between the two stronger.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: The reason for Sasha's ability could be because of her Alpha female status but it could also be cause of they way she uses her words. When a tough, stressful situation arises she is able to calm almost anyone down. It could be some type of energy or her aura, but it has definitely helped her in many situations.

Personality: Just a few words on what your character is like. How they interact with people and whatnot.
Background: Basically, how they became a werewolf, and what has happened to them since. It doesn't have to be too detailed.
Special powers/distinguishing marks: Now for this, when I say special powers, I don't mean flying, control over fire and whatnot. I mean things like, faster than a normal werewolf, greater sense of hearing and what not. Small, somewhat subtle things. Like how the two Alpha CS's say Sasha can calm people down and Andrei is able to MAKE people listen.

All the CS's will have to be approved by me and Yellow 13, So until your character shows up on this post you have not been approved. If any issues do arise with CS's a PM will be sent to said person explaining what the issues are.

Name: Elizabeth “Liz” Corey
Age: 22
Apperance:

(Although as a human her hair is bleached blonde with other colours in it her natural hair colour is a dark brown almost black, making her fur black when she changes. Physically she is very fit, easily compared to a volleyball player. As a wolf she is surprisingly large and built, not really sure why, she gains a great amount of muscle mass, possibly something that has to do with her extreme amount of strength)

Personality: Liz is a rather sociable girl, she speaks up when she has to but prefers not to. She cares for others more than she should and hates disappointing people. Unfortunately she has anger issues, which is not a good thing considering that she triggers a change almost every time she gets angry, frustrated or annoyed. Liz doesn't simply get angry or irritated if you anger her she gets extremely irked and enraged. She also has a very strong response to the scent of blood, human or animal. She craves it. The taste is something she enjoys and wants.

Although Elizabeth has never spoken to anyone about this. It’s her secret addiction. She is easy to approach and talk to, if you’re not afraid of her. She’s a nice person overall, as long as you don't get on her bad side.

Background: Liz was born in Toronto, Ontario. Her family wasn't rich but they were comfortable, so she had a great life. Eventually due to a job promotion her family had to move out of the city, which definitely upset her. She wouldn't be able to see her friends or anything, but she was still young. Elizabeth's highschool years were spent in Orangeville, Ontario where all her friends were established and her life was on track, she had a job and was also seeing someone as well.
An evening after school, she was at her new found friend's house where she was attacked. To this day she is still unsure of how she escaped, but she had been infected. Up until her first change she thought nothing of it, and that's when things got out of hand. Her anger problems seemed to get worse, and during her changes she would black out and not remember a thing. She would wake up in fear and drenched in blood...but something felt good about it, something deep down enjoyed it. She still has no control, and only remembers moments from her changes, but she is still enjoying it...whatever it is that makes her feel like that.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: She has a stud on her nose (left side), a spacer in her left ear and two earrings on her right ear. She also has a set of claw marks going down her right ribcage and her left hip. She has several tattoos on her body and seems to posses an unnatural amount of strength...even for a werewolf.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Even though whatever it is that happens to her feels good she still wants to be in control. She knows that she changes and she knows that she hunts and kills. She also hates the fact that she triggers a change so easily, and that is due to her anger issues. So the reason she is joining this pack is because she wants to be in control.

Fovena

Name: Nora Vonsette
Age: 20
Appearance:

In werewolf form, her hair is a dark, burgundy red, not nearly as vibrant as her hair is originally.

Personality: Nora use to be a ball of joy. Since she has been stricken with the werewolf curse, a lot of her energy has been sapped. She is usually happiest when she's alone, because of her adherent fear of getting close to anyone. Since joining the pack, she's become a lot better about being social, but it's still difficult for her.

Background: Nora lived all her life in rural Minnesota. Her family owned and operated a small dairy farm for generations. It was almost guaranteed that Nora would continue working on that farm all her life along with her 6 other siblings. She was happy with the idea though. Her fondest memories were on that farm.

One winter, there was a particularly bad storm. A few sickly cows were being kept inside their barn and treated for their ailments. One by one, the cows started dying off. These weren't typical farm deaths, though. The cows were torn apart and eaten by what appeared to be a large animal. As a result, Nora's father appointed his children to stay up and watch the cows with a rifle every night. They each had their designated shift and were ordered to shoot whatever animal came into the barn.

For the first few nights, nothing showed up. For a long time, nothing came and attacked their sick cattle. The family almost thought that whatever was attacking their cattle had moved on. Still, Nora's father was not convinced. Finally, a month later, the animal returned.

It was on Nora's shift for watching the barn. It was a particularly stormy night and to Nora's amazement, the animal unlatched the barns front door with ease. As it slowly came into the glow of the single light in the barn, Nora was paralyzed with fear. The creature was huge and unlike anything she'd ever seen. The creature didn't even notice her. But when it cornered on of the cattle, Nora gathered her wits about her and fired a shot at the creature. Hoping to scare it away. This proved to be a terrible idea for Nora. The next thing she knew everything went black. She woke up in the hospital weeks later.

As it turned out, the animal attacked her after she shot at it. She would have died if the shot hadn't woken up the entire family in the farmhouse not 20 yards away. They all managed to fend the creature off before it ran off into the darkness defeated.

For the next month, Nora healed quickly. She was back to work in no time and had no trouble coping with the traumatic experience. All seemed good until the killings started again. What made matters worse is that Nora began waking up in the middle of fields without recollection of what happened the night before. It became apparent what was going on when Nora woke up one morning in the barn next to one of the sickly cows. It was half eaten and Nora was covered in blood. Unable to accept what was happening, Nora tried to keep it a secret, until one of her brothers confronted her about it.

They ended up getting into a huge fight. And no matter how much Nora tried to avoid the subject, her brother kept egging her on. He kept badgering her and badgering her until she finally cracked. Her anger swelled and she blacked out.

When Nora came back, she was lying on the hardwood floor with several guns trained on her. She heard her mother sobbing. When she looked over, she saw the bloody corpse of her brother being cradled in her arms. The angry, confused faces of her siblings stared down at her. Finally, Nora realized what she had done. Without thinking, she got up and ran. She ran as far as she could.

For months, she ran. She stole what she needed and hitchhiked out of the country. A few months ago, Nora found herself in the small town of Shelburne. With the little bit of Canadian money she had, she tried to buy a meal at Ivailo's Bar and Grill. She wasn't sure how they knew, but the people of the bar confronted her about her curse. At first, Nora was scared. She hated her curse. It had only brought trouble. They offered her help though. Nora has been there ever since.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Aside from her messy poof of hair, Nora has a simply Celtic knot cross as a tattoo on her left shoulder. Since she's become a werewolf, Nora has developed a freakishly strong sense of smell, it's become nearly as dominant as her eye sight. Most of the time, it just freaks her out though.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: They were the first people to offer her help, really. And they have. They're teaching her to control the curse, which has been a long process.

Name:Katherynn "Kate" McArthur
Age:18
Apperance:

As a wolf she is medium build, with a semi-muscular body. Her fur is a mixture of earthy tones; browns, tans, grays. Here eyes are an oceanic blue that seem to pierce through your very soul.

Personality:
Kate is generally a kind and caring person. She tries to help everyone she knows out, even to the point of being used sometimes. She does know when to stop though, and she is an outspoken girl who won't be afraid to speak her mind if needed. She is also funny and sarcastic, always trying to make the best out of a bad situation. If you get to know her, she is a very trustworthy and loyal friend.

Background:
Kate grew up in the south where life was slow and things weren't taken for granted. She lived with her mother, father, and an older brother. Her teens were some of her best years and memories, but when she turned 16, a terrible thing happened...
Kate was camping with her family in the nearby national park. It was during a full moon, and Kate awoke in the middle of the night feeling...strange. She got up out of her tent, and as her heart rate began to quicken, her body began to change. She soon started to freak out, and began running, not knowing what else to do. Her body soon transformed into a completely different creature, and Kate soon began to lose her conscious thought to new, more powerful instincts. She remained in this wolf form for the entire night, and in the morning, she awoke naked in the middle of her camp. Her parents then explained to her the family curse, and said they had brought her camping because they knew she would change.
Her parents and brother helped her through a lot in the beginning, their own little family pack functioned quite well. But, another tragedy struck when Kate was 17. She had spent the weekend at a friends house, when her phone rang. It was a policeman, informing her that her parents and brother had been killed in a car accident. Kate was distraught and heartbroken. She buried her family, and not knowing what else to do, she packed up her things and headed north across the border. After running into a few others like her, she heard about the family in Ontario... And set out to find a new beginning.

Special powers/distinguishing marks:
Kate has a cross tattooed on her back, it is large and elaborate, with a scroll reading the names of her parents and brother inscribed onto it. She has a tattoo of a wolf on her right ankle. Kate is a moderately strong wolf, but not the strongest. Her best attribute would be her hearing; ever since changing for the first time, her hearing has become impeccable.

Needed a new family, people to care about her and give her guidance.

Yellow 13

Name: Lucas Clancy
Age: 23
Apperance: Lucas is aproximitly 5'8 with short, unkept and dark hair. He has a large mass of scars from the initial bite on his left arm. When he's in his wolf form, there's not a lot of fur in this area. He's thinly built and is focused more on speed and agility the anything else. For the most part, he looks dishveled when in his human form.

Personality: Wild would be the best word to discribe him. The wolf influences his decisons quite a lot and is frequently in control of his actions. During the rare moments when it's not, Lucas is terrified of what he is and what he's becoming, however he's simply unable to stop himself with the pack he's currently in.

Background: During a camping trip at the end of high school, he and his classmates were attacked and bitten by a non-pack werewolf looking to form his own pack. Unlike most weres, he stuck around to ensure the 'smooth' transition and transformation of human to werewolf. By preventing them from leaving then beating the newly transformed weres, he asserted his dominence over them and they soon fell in like. He can't break free from his alpha. At least not by himself.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Far more 'in tune' with his inner wolf then others. As such, he knows how to track, hunt, and kill when shifted.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Not a member of this pack. Instead, he was bitten and fell in with another. One who preffered to give into the wolf side of what they are.

Name: Gareth Bates
Age: 21

Gareth is a 6’9” tall in his human form. He’s also a 7’5” tall, snow white werewolf with gold amber eyes. He has a healthy, lean fit as a human from his boxing practices, but bulks up considerably while transformed.

Personality: Gareth tends to be a man of few words. He isn’t entirely fond of socializing with too many people and often comes off as being aloof and cold. His loyalty goes to someone who earns his utmost trust, but he won’t take betrayals very kindly. He has a habit of brooding about his state of mind and life in general. While highly disciplined, he still has problems trying to rein in the wild wolf within and the angrier he was, the more emotional his tone will sound.

Background: Gareth was adopted as a baby by a couple in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. While his adopted mother was kind and caring, his adopted father was anything but, constantly yelling at him and his mother. To divert his mind from his abusive father and to make his mother proud, Gareth tried excelling in sports and found his calling in boxing. Aside from his constant brushes with his father, Gareth’s life seemed rather calm and quiet at first. However, three nights after his eighteenth birthday, he came home from boxing practice to see his adopted father drunk and beating his mother, who was tied down and gagged, with an empty beer bottle while several other men ransack their house. He had heard his father proclaiming his intention to leave his wife for quite some time, but the young man had no idea how far he was willing to carry that out. Gareth tried stopping his father, but was hit on the head by one of the other men. Before losing consciousness, he felt his pent up dislike for his abusive father burst into a burning rage at the sight of his mother being hurt.

When he regained consciousness, he wasn’t in his house. Instead, he was in a damp alley, hands and lips drenched in blood, and so were the torn and mangled corpses of his adopted father and a few of the men who were in the house. Gareth tried going back home, but when he saw the place taped with police line and paramedics carrying out several more mangled corpses of men, he realized what had happened, especially after connecting his blood-soaked state and the corpses together. When he saw his adopted mother, injured, traumatized but alive, being carried into an ambulance, he knew he couldn’t return anymore. He stole a pick-up truck and left the town, making a hasty run to Canada. Knowing that he was most likely a suspect of murder, he ditched the stolen vehicle some distance outside the town border and continued his trek on foot, hitchhiking whenever he could.

When he finally arrived at Shelburne, Ontario, Canada, it had been three years since his first murder, albeit one outside his control. He had tried avoiding humans in general and had barely eluded starvation by hunting rodents and other manners of small animals. Scraping off money wasn’t very hard with some of the more physical jobs he could do. He heard of Ivailo's Bar and Grill from the locals’ recommendation, along with the accompanying rumors and telltale stories. Although he was skeptical about the entire rumor, he decided to give the place a shot in search for clues about what he was. That and he wanted something to eat that was neither raw nor bloody.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Gareth has a habit of tying his long hair into a ponytail and has a crescent-shaped birthmark on the back of his neck. His eyes will turn into a yellow gold hue in werewolf form before returning back to their normal chestnut color at least thirty minutes after he transforms back. He possesses a faster reaction time and could anticipate moves faster than normal werewolves, an ability he finds somewhat interesting.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Gareth was desperate for an answer about himself. Being a werewolf, especially a born one, was something Gareth consider a dangerous curse, but he knew he would never get rid of it, so he wanted to find someone who could put him in his place should things go awry.

Greycat

Name: Keith Johns
Age: 26

Were form

Personality: Lighthearted and easy going. It's the best way to deal with possible emotional stress, in his mind. He keeps up a positive outlook and a live and let live philosophy. It might not be the best approach, but it works for him, and he's not keen on changing a good thing. He likes to crack jokes and lighten the air if he thinks things are getting too serious.

Background: Mainly, him joining the supernatural side of live was just a long line of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is originally from Kingston, Ontario, and probably wouldn't have come anywhere near a werewolf to be attacked. But a series of unfortunate events, actually, one fortunate than a series of bad and stupid decisions, let to his attack.

He was fourteen, a kid in middle school, when the district announced a trip to South America. Part vacation, part educational, it was all expensive and his family wasn't rolling in currency. A lot of his friends were going though, and he he was determined not to be left out. To that end, he struck a deal with his parent; if he manage to get half in a month, they would pay the rest. He managed. From donations from people in his church to volunteering to bag grocery with a coin can to shoveling snow for neighbours. He meet and even beat the ultimatum, so his parents had to cash in.

That was the first step to his Unfortunate Incident. The second came a few days into the two week trip. They had been having a good time, enjoying the amenities of the hotel and the trips to the historical sites. The hotel was set outside the town, were they could easily access nature walks and such. One route had been closed off because the local Maya had were holding ritual ceremonies at the temple it past by. Of course, making something restricted only made it more irresistible to some people

It was a stupid dare, but those were the best kinds. Keith and three friends snuck away from their groups, having others cover for them, and decided to see what the private ceremonies were about. Well, as it turned out, that route wasn't restricted so much because they were being used, as so much because it was at the edge of the territory used by the resident werejaguars. They did have a few people having a mock set up at the temple as a cover, but that's exactly what it was. In actuality, it was the night the newly awakened were having their first run. After a brief conference, Keith and his friends decided to split up and search around.

With the wonderful hand fortune dealt him, Keith headed the long way around, cutting deeper into the jungle. To be fair to him, he liked woods and natural settings. But the forests above the 45th parallel didn't have much on those around the equator. He got lost with little application of skill or effort on his part. Fortune played the rest of her hand, and he twisted his ankle shortly before stumbled across one of the young ones in his venture. Quick math test; small unarmed human plus injured plus territorial instinct plus hunting trip equaled? One thing it didn't was pretty. The wounds, that is. Really, all he remembers of the encounter is a flash of gold fur, a large weight forcing him to the ground, hot breath and fangs. Oh lord the fangs...

He woke in the hospital. Apparently, he had been in a coma for over a week. The cover story was that he was attacked by a jaguar who ranged closer to the town than normal. He had been found when the Maya at the ceremony heard the hunting cries and went to chase the beast away. The doctor, however, had another story to tell him. He was being treated in a hospital who had several of the initiated Maya on it's staff roster. They explained to him what truly happened that night. That his foolishness had put him in the path of a werejaguar on just his second hunt. The more experienced one watching the group had been too far to do much more than knock the young one off him. It was an interesting tale, equal parts accusation, pity, apology and regret. He soon came to understand why.

They managed to arrange to hold him for several more weeks before he was cleared to be transported out of country, on some complicated medical reasoning he did fully understand or care to understand at his age. In that time, they gave him a crash course in the basics. Shifting. Controlling emotions. The connection with the moon. Even some of their local myths on the subject. He tried to soak it all in, but he was mostly hung up on the fact that he was now a supernatural creature.

The time finally came for him to head back home. He was almost half a year behind his classmates due to the incident, and had a lot of catching up to do. Having to sneak out a couple times month and make for the woods north of town on bicycle didn't make it easy. But he couldn't bring himself to tell his parents. They were already tearing themselves up about the accident, blaming themselves for letting him go in the first place. Letting them know he turned into a monster as a result... he didn't want to burden them with that. And to that the fact he was unsure were it put him on the good evil scale. He eventually came to the rational that having darkness inside wasn't the same as searching out evil.

Still, he moved out as soon as he could. It made things easier, and lessened the strain on their relationship. He found work as a writer, doing articles for papers and magazines, even churning out a few short stories for other print productions. He decided to move to a smaller community. While hiding one among many was a valid theory, he wanted to try hiding in somewhere out of the way. So he chose Shelburne. Still close enough to family, but not close enough for casual surprise visits. He managed to arrange for work with the local paper ahead of his arrival, and was on top of the world. Until he scented the first wolf in the area. It hadn't crossed his mind that werewolves would be around, and he really hadn't encountered many before aside from one or two loners passing through and the odd encounter with the packs in other big towns, so he was somewhat out of the lyncantrope loop. He was a jaguar anyway. He figured the best tactic would be direct non-aggressive confrontation.

Which is how he ended up working in Andrei's office. Maybe he should have thought his groveling approach through some more. He had the impression that it annoying Andrei more than anything else.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: In general, his Werejaguar 101 crash course centered around balancing both natures, so the jaguar bleeds over somewhat into his human form, from senses to trace mannerisms (not that he would admit he hissed at people before being bitten). The natural dexterity and grace of his feline half has had a strong expression though. Since he was attacked, he's found his movements have become more graceful and streamlined. While he isn't any stronger than any other average were, he's quicker and lighter on his toes that them both in and out of the fur. Oh, his body hair is a trace fur like, being thicker that normal. Sometimes he purrs. He will often deny it, but someone once got video evidence...

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Well... It was the best choice as the time. He didn't have much experience with wolf packs, none being in his former hometown and the chance encounters he had while visiting oshawa and Ottawa not leaving him with the best impression (the first was in wereform on a full moon night [he had an unexpected extension of his stay], the second in human form in an alley. Neither were what he would all 'pleasant.') As such He really didn't want to get on the Alpha's bad side, and made an effort to square things with him from day one. It took a lot of cycling around town to track the scent to the restaurant. Doing the pack thing seemed to be the best decision at the time. He hasn't really regretted it though. Logistics are somewhat fun to work with.

Personality: Cunning, mischievous, she tends to find unorthodox ways around situations.

Background: A life born in the woods Allison grew up with the pack life venturing into town on the weekends spending time in bars and night clubs. They loved their pack life in the outdoors and enjoyed the nightlife of the cities.

After many years of running with her pack in the woods a war began with the arrival of a new pack wanting the territory. These wolves though did not play fair and she watched in horror as her pack was gunned down by silver bullets. She fled that night at the age of seventeen she was forced to strike out on her own. She travelled for some time and at the age of eighteen she found the bar and grill getting a job as a waitress with these new wolves and has stuck around ever since enjoying the company and comraderie.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: in certain lights her eyes show as a burnished gold like a wolves.

Why they joined the pack instead of others: because she likes them and feels like family.

Name: Leon Vahleren
Age: 24

Appearance: Leon stands above average height at around 6' 2', he has medium Length messy brown hair that comes down just before his eyes, and half over his ears and neck. For a unexplained reason Leon continues to have his wolf eyes even over to his human form, which gives him much trouble fitting in with other humans. Leon is very fit due to him mostly living out in the woods he needs to stay in shape. Leon has scars that cover his torso from as a child and other deeds that have been committed against him. His race is Caucasian. When Leon is in his wolf form he has all black fur, (aside from the marks on his face that were described further below) he is tall as a wolf and muscular but not overly muscular. He has sharp claws that he has refined over time.

Personality: Leon is a distrustful person, he has good reason though, he is protective. But when you get to know him he is kind, compassionate, charismatic and all the more protective. When the situation calls for it he is serious and even more protective. He will always try to put himself in harms way instead of others he doesnt let others get hurt for him. He is deeply troubled by his past and does not like to talk about it. He is always willing to help someone with their problems, but he tries not to let others know he is hurting or troubled and doesnt let others get involved, some may say this is unhealthy behavior but Leon doesnt listen he says no one else needs to be troubled with his problems. Leon enjoys his wolf form even though it has been a curse on his life, but he sees it as he cant get rid of it so he might as well make the best of it, which he does and he would rather live with it then without it since it has saved his life more then once.

Background: Leon lived a unhappy life his father was abusive while his mother was neglectful. He remained out of the house as much as he could mostly in the woods which has given him a very good ability of jumping from tree branch to tree branch which is his favorite form of travel which he does in both his human form and wolf form. When he doesnt live on his own he was with his best friend who practically was his brother. But all that changed when he was attacked, Leon was 14 when he was on his way home, a wolf like creature attacked him and almost killed him he barely made it away with his life as he escaped the creature with nothing less then a bite wound. He made it back to his friends house barely as he was close to death. He was saved by his friends dad who was a doctor and just barely saved him, when Leon awoke the curse slowly took affect and when he turned he ended the life of his best friend and his friends family he would have done more damage if he wasnt stopped by a fellow werewolf, who subdued Leon until he turned back to normal when Leon became human again he discovered this beast was actually a elderly man who had been living with the curse his whole life.

The man whose name was revealed to be Cornelius, taught Leon what he had been given Leon spent many years living with the man, who taught him everything he would need to know to survive on his own for he could never go back to his family or friends, Cornelius taught him that he needed to control his transformations and of what full moons held with them. Finally when Leon was 17 Cornelius felt Leon was ready to learn what he had done in his first ever transformation. When Cornelius told him Leon was outraged at himself and at Cornelius he ran from Cornelius in his rage he returned that night and discovered Cornelius's body and a wolf that had killed Cornelius. It seemed Cornelius's age had gotten the better of him, for he was not strong enough to kill the attacking wolf, but he did train Leon to fight. Leon was outraged and in his rage turned to his wolf form, Leon ended the wounded wolf and buried Cornelius who had been so much more of a father then his actual father. Leon remained there for one week as he hunted for food, then finally Leon left his home and has never looked back for fears of bringing up old memory's.

Leon has lived his life on the outskirts of human society, only stopping in rural towns for essentials but never stopping for more then a few days. He has lived off of what he could hunt of fish or gather. He has had a few fights with packs he has come across, but has never been very hurt. He has troubles trusting his own kind after what happened to him. Never planning on staying with other Werewolves due to trust issues or just bad blood between him and some of the members. Many of the packs he has come across just sent him on his way not wanting to associate with the strange Werewolf. Slowly but surely Leon made his way north to Shelburne, Ontario, Canada where he had just recently arrived at. Though Leon has made great progress in controlling his wolf form he still struggles greatly and seeks to change that.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: When Leon is in his wolf form he has three white lines on his face one that moves down the middle of his head and the other two that moved over his eyes. As Leon's fights with other Werewolves has given him a skill in combat and Leon's past with traversing through trees has given him very good agility, he is very bad at blending with other humans and prefers the forest then the cities, but if he can get to know you and you him, this passes. Leon for reasons unknown to Leon he has his wolf eyes at all time in his human form or not.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Leon is on his own as said in his Backstory, but further down the line will join the pack. His reasons will be shown then, is that ok?

Name: Nora Vonsette

Age: 20

Appearance:

In werewolf form, her hair is a dark, burgundy red, not nearly as vibrant as her hair is originally.

Personality: Nora use to be a ball of joy. Since she has been stricken with the werewolf curse, a lot of her energy has been sapped. She is usually happiest when she's alone, because of her adherent fear of getting close to anyone. Since joining the pack, she's become a lot better about being social, but it's still difficult for her.

Background: Nora lived all her life in rural Minnesota. Her family owned and operated a small dairy farm for generations. It was almost guaranteed that Nora would continue working on that farm all her life along with her 6 other siblings. She was happy with the idea though. Her fondest memories were on that farm.

One winter, there was a particularly bad storm. A few sickly cows were being kept inside their barn and treated for their ailments. One by one, the cows started dying off. These weren't typical farm deaths, though. The cows were torn apart and eaten by what appeared to be a large animal. As a result, Nora's father appointed his children to stay up and watch the cows with a rifle every night. They each had their designated shift and were ordered to shoot whatever animal came into the barn.

For the first few nights, nothing showed up. For a long time, nothing came and attacked their sick cattle. The family almost thought that whatever was attacking their cattle had moved on. Still, Nora's father was not convinced. Finally, a month later, the animal returned.

It was on Nora's shift for watching the barn. It was a particularly stormy night and to Nora's amazement, the animal unlatched the barns front door with ease. As it slowly came into the glow of the single light in the barn, Nora was paralyzed with fear. The creature was huge and unlike anything she'd ever seen. The creature didn't even notice her. But when it cornered on of the cattle, Nora gathered her wits about her and fired a shot at the creature. Hoping to scare it away. This proved to be a terrible idea for Nora. The next thing she knew everything went black. She woke up in the hospital weeks later.

As it turned out, the animal attacked her after she shot at it. She would have died if the shot hadn't woken up the entire family in the farmhouse not 20 yards away. They all managed to fend the creature off before it ran off into the darkness defeated.

For the next month, Nora healed quickly. She was back to work in no time and had no trouble coping with the traumatic experience. All seemed good until the killings started again. What made matters worse is that Nora began waking up in the middle of fields without recollection of what happened the night before. It became apparent what was going on when Nora woke up one morning in the barn next to one of the sickly cows. It was half eaten and Nora was covered in blood. Unable to accept what was happening, Nora tried to keep it a secret, until one of her brothers confronted her about it.

They ended up getting into a huge fight. And no matter how much Nora tried to avoid the subject, her brother kept egging her on. He kept badgering her and badgering her until she finally cracked. Her anger swelled and she blacked out.

When Nora came back, she was lying on the hardwood floor with several guns trained on her. She heard her mother sobbing. When she looked over, she saw the bloody corpse of her brother being cradled in her arms. The angry, confused faces of her siblings stared down at her. Finally, Nora realized what she had done. Without thinking, she got up and ran. She ran as far as she could.

For months, she ran. She stole what she needed and hitchhiked out of the country. A few months ago, Nora found herself in the small town of Shelburne. With the little bit of Canadian money she had, she tried to buy a meal at Ivailo's Bar and Grill. She wasn't sure how they knew, but the people of the bar confronted her about her curse. At first, Nora was scared. She hated her curse. It had only brought trouble. They offered her help though. Nora has been there ever since.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Aside from her messy poof of hair, Nora has a simply Celtic knot cross as a tattoo on her left shoulder. Since she's become a werewolf, Nora has developed a freakishly strong sense of smell, it's become nearly as dominant as her eye sight. Most of the time, it just freaks her out though.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: They were the first people to offer her help, really. And they have. They're teaching her to control the curse, which has been a long process.

Apperance:

As a wolf she is medium build, with a semi-muscular body. Her fur is a mixture of earthy tones; browns, tans, grays. Here eyes are an oceanic blue that seem to pierce through your very soul.


Personality:
Kate is generally a kind and caring person. She tries to help everyone she knows out, even to the point of being used sometimes. She does know when to stop though, and she is an outspoken girl who won't be afraid to speak her mind if needed. She is also funny and sarcastic, always trying to make the best out of a bad situation. If you get to know her, she is a very trustworthy and loyal friend.

Background:
Kate grew up in the south where life was slow and things weren't taken for granted. She lived with her mother, father, and an older brother. Her teens were some of her best years and memories, but when she turned 16, a terrible thing happened...
Kate was camping with her family in the nearby national park. It was during a full moon, and Kate awoke in the middle of the night feeling...strange. She got up out of her tent, and as her heart rate began to quicken, her body began to change. She soon started to freak out, and began running, not knowing what else to do. Her body soon transformed into a completely different creature, and Kate soon began to lose her conscious thought to new, more powerful instincts. She remained in this wolf form for the entire night, and in the morning, she awoke naked in the middle of her camp. Her parents then explained to her the family curse, and said they had brought her camping because they knew she would change.
Her parents and brother helped her through a lot in the beginning, their own little family pack functioned quite well. But, another tragedy struck when Kate was 17. She had spent the weekend at a friends house, when her phone rang. It was a policeman, informing her that her parents and brother had been killed in a car accident. Kate was distraught and heartbroken. She buried her family, and not knowing what else to do, she packed up her things and headed north across the border. After running into a few others like her, she heard about the family in Ontario... And set out to find a new beginning.

Special powers/distinguishing marks:
Kate has a cross tattooed on her back, it is large and elaborate, with a scroll reading the names of her parents and brother inscribed onto it. She has a tattoo of a wolf on her right ankle. Kate is a moderately strong wolf, but not the strongest. Her best attribute would be her hearing; ever since changing for the first time, her hearing has become impeccable.

Needed a new family, people to care about her and give her guidance.

Going with an idea I brought up to Huntress.

Name: Lucas Clancy

Age: 23

Apperance: (I'm not good with finding real pics. I hope this would work instead)

Lucas is aproximitly 5'8 with short, unkept and dark hair. He has a large mass of scars from the initial bite on his left arm. When he's in his wolf form, there's not a lot of fur in this area. He's thinly built and is focused more on speed and agility the anything else. For the most part, he looks dishveled when in his human form.

Wolf form:


Personality: Wild would be the best word to discribe him. The wolf influences his decisons quite a lot and is frequently in control of his actions. During the rare moments when it's not, Lucas is terrified of what he is and what he's becoming, however he's simply unable to stop himself with the pack he's currently in.

Background: During a camping trip at the end of high school, he and his classmates were attacked and bitten by a non-pack werewolf looking to form his own pack. Unlike most weres, he stuck around to ensure the 'smooth' transition and transformation of human to werewolf. By preventing them from leaving then beating the newly transformed weres, he asserted his dominence over them and they soon fell in like. He can't break free from his alpha. At least not by himself.

Special powers/distinguishing marks: Far more 'in tune' with his inner wolf then others. As such, he knows how to track, hunt, and kill when shifted.

Why they joined this pack instead of others: Not a member of this pack. Instead, he was bitten and fell in with another. One who preffered to give into the wolf side of what they are.

Is there a limit to the number of characters allowed per person? I'm not suggesting making five different characters. but if the gender roles need to be balanced a bit, I'm willing to make another character. But if you wanna avoid that situation altogether, I understand.
