It's been many many years of peace. But a new war has begun. Surprisingly not because of the Fire Nation. It's the Earth Kingdom. I'ts been ten years since the start of the war. The current ruler believes they have the power to take over and rule. The king alone is a master Earth and Metal Bender. Currently the other nations are trying to work together in order to take the Earth Kingdom down. However, they seem to be overwhelming in both power and numbers. In addition to their already great power they seem to be adding chi blockers to their forces.
The current avatar was born as a Firebender. However, nobody seems to have heard of or seen him. Some say he's travelling. Other's believe he's abandoned them. Nobody truly knows.

History: The day he was born Kai was given a test by the firebending elders of his village. The test was to see if he was the avatar. He passed the test and was proven as to be the new avatar after the passing of the previous. This worried there parents. The elders left saying they'd return in a week. And in when they did his parents lied and said he'd passed due to a mysterious sickness.This worried them, but the search for the new avatar was on. His parents then took him away to another village and settled there. As he grew up his father taught him how to fight in unarmed combat and with certain weapons although he doesn't carry any around. When he was about six the war began. This worried his parents more. That was because they still hadn't told him. He continue to learn how to fight staying hidden. Then, when he turned 14 the Earth benders made their way to the village his family had settled in. They destroyed the place. His parents tried to run with him, but he they didn't get far. So they finally told him. They told him he was the avatar and that he had to mast all four elements and bring balance to the world. No pressure. That's what he thought as he ran after his parents forced him to leave. In the past two years he has learned a bit of firebending learning from one of the best masters a person can find. A dragon. His red pet dragon to be exact. And his travelling companion Kane when his dragon needs to hide. But he still has a long way to go before he can master anything.

History: Azhek has been training with the air nomads his entire life proving to them that he has mastered his element. The strict curriculum of training and reading has left him hardened. Azhek himself had excelled in this sense of the air benders teachings. He himself mastered all that he could learn by the time he had left to explore the world with his pet Air bison.

Personality: Despite her sweet appearance, Kazé is viscous. She doesn't stand for injustice, and pretty much has a whole 'nother side to her. At the same time, she can be a really sweet girl, and really fun to be around. She's very graceful and elegant, but can be knocked off as childish at times. She isn't someone you want to mess with.
History: Kazé was born in the Northern Water Tribe. After it was taken down by Earthbenders, she found herself wandering around, alone. She has a bit of amnesia, so she doesn't remember the whole battle, or any of her 'family members.' She still has her polar dog, Jayrn, who's quite sweet but protective as well. She still wanders alone with no one to protect her. Something amazing about her is when angry, her appearance changes completely. Her hair changes black, she wears all black.

History: Rhea daughter of an Earth general. Didn't like the idea of war, but dealt with it cause of her father. Dealt with it for a while... Got sick of it when she saw how badly people were hurt in a village. Ran away when she was 15. And a year later... She's been travelling hiding that she's an Earthbender, but she loved being an Earthbender, she had to hide it due to the Earthbenders being some kind of thread to the world, she wasn't in that 'line' to take over the world like her father. Her mother on the other side, wasn't either. Rhea's mother was the one who told Rhea to flee she wanted the best for her daughter and it wasn't that. Rhea's mother was the one who taught Rhea the good and what was out there in the world. Now eversince then, Rhea has been alone on her journey to somewhere that wasn't the EarthKingdom. Rhea has been using her bending, only to protect those on need, meaning she will have to fight her own kind. Or anyone who hurt innocent people, but this was Rhea the good EarthBender who tought that the war , was just stupid and desperating. But she only knew that, other people wanted to kill her some feared her, she just had to show her real side.

Personality: Kane is level headed and calm man he can most times be very wise and very smart, Kane can also has a good nature of taking jokes about his age from younger people, Kane is pretty stronger, tougher, and quicker than the average old man.
History: Kane had a long life traveling around the world fighting bad guys and saving people but one day he settled down at a village and got married to a nice woman and had two kids, Kane was a teacher at teacher of the village teaching kids and adults firebending and practiced lightingbending during his free time to keep his skills sharp, Kane met Kai when his parents arrived at his village and offered to train Kai but his parents refused Kane could tell that Kai had a spark of some kind inside him but he didn't pry to train him. When the Earth benders attacked the village Kane told people to retreat while he and his son would hold them back but his family was captured and he was forced to leave the village, on the Road he met up Kai and started to travel with him.

History: Born in a small village on the edge of the Fire nation, his life was very simple. It consisted of helping his father at his forge, and learning the art of swordplay from his mother. For most of his life it was like this, he would work, train, eat, and sleep in the same order everyday. That is, until the war came. His father left, leaving the forge for his wife and son to tend. His mother grew ill, and his father died in combat. He trained long and hard in his free time, honing his skill to that of a master swordsmen. After 5 years of pain and sorrow his mother passed, leaving him alone. He sold the forge after making one last blade, he named the blade "Life" because he felt that its edge would lead him forward through these rough times. He left the village, seeking to make a difference, either on his own, or by aiding the avatar if he could find him. (Yes I know it's a bit cliché, but I hope its ok.)
Appearance: He stands at 5,9 with short cut, spiked black hair and blue eyes. He wears a light suit of leather armor under his simple hooded kendo robes. He wears a simple white mask with the kanji 死(Death) to conceal his face and mark him as the opposite of his "merciful" blade.

History: Hanna was born into a rich family and was thought of as delicate and a princess. Hanna wanted to travel and explore but her parents wouldn't let her. They hired a personal trainer for her bending and manners. When she became sick of living with her parents she ran away at the age of 15 and they thought she was kidnapped and began looking for her. Hanna went exploring and eventually ended up in a place that is hidden and is rare that anyone knows about it. So here she is, she lives in the dessert where bending is unheard of so she is thought to be a witch because of her air bending and was outlasted from the village. She lives in a far off place from the village on the edge of the dessert that is connected to a swamp. There she built a new place for people to stay with help of those who basically worshiped her bending. Hanna also brought music and dance with her and she taught the people how to sing, dance, and play music. Although she is the only with bending she still has fun through music and dance.
When you think of airbending you think of grace, elegance, and flowing but Hanna has learned to use it in a more powerful choppy way.

History: Kazuo was born into the Southern Water Tribe as the son of the local Chief, making him the Tribal Prince, a position not unlike the Fire Nation's Crown Prince. As such, he was schooled in the Art of Waterbending since a very young age, making him very, very proficient in the style. However, his specific Waterbending style focuses more upon the manipulation of ice rather than water. He never truly felt at home in the Southern Tribe's main camp, preferring to constantly wander the cold tundra in his free time. When the Earth Kingdom began their conquest, Kazuo was able to repel the invaders with minimal casualties using his knowledge of his surroundings, and bending prowess. However, the Earth Kingdom had what the Southern Tribe needed: numbers, and soon enough the South Pole had fallen into the hands of the enemy. Kazuo was able to escape and fled to the Northern Tribe, one of the places in the world that was safe from Metal and Earthbenders. It was here he was trained amongst the Northern Tribe soldiers in regular weapons usage, and bending.

Personality: He is immensely loyal to the earth nation and fully supports their conquest. He is ruthless and has no problem killing those who get in his way. He is proud of being an Earth Bender and strives to perfect his technique
History: He was born to a metal bending blacksmith who would build weapons and buildings for the Earth Nation, but when the conquest began his father conscripted to the army. Brock was left to look after the blacksmith. His father died in action and the army demanded someone else from his family join the military. Brock volunteered and now operates for the earth nation to make sure his father didn't die in vain. He was assigned with the task of killing the avatar, he does not take this lightly.
