ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a king who was frail and ill. His only wish before he died was to see his precious daughter taken care of. Thus was the marriage between the king and his new wife. The queen seemed perfect in every way, she was kind to everyone especially her step daughter. Until it all stopped on the day the king died, the princess was treated poorly by her step mother. One day the princess overheard a possible attack on herself. She ran, taking only her deceased mother's pendant. She was chased into the night by knights on horses, almost losing them, she tripped into a ditch. Waking up with a few injuries and not a clue to who she was.
