    Question to any staff member

I have started a free interest check for a game based in the PARANOIA setting. The game is more comedy than drama, and more situationally than character-driven. It's also oft-times in this format better played through many PM's to the GM and shorter posts. However, I'll call my expectations extra-high free. I know this game doesn't belong in casual based on the criteria set forth, and I expect to turn most who aren't willing to go slumming in the casual section for an RP off, but would I be out of line to at least start a casual interest check directing people my way. I likely wouldn't have found my own game, but free is where it belongs.

You've seen the site standards and are sure it doesn't belong in casual? (I'm just checking because often people have incorrect perceptions about the levels) You say your expectations are "extra-high-free" as long as there aren't any one liners I would say casual would work for you. A paragraph is the minimum.

Casual Roleplay - Some standards. Roleplay here if you enjoy writing at least a paragraph or two, character development, and some depth. Casual RP is more laid back and lighthearted than Advanced RP but more moderated than Free RP. It's a good middle ground. No one-liners.
That being said, I can't see a problem with you making an interest check in Casual even if you keep your RPin free. The levels are to help people find the RP's they will enjoy. Have you also made an interest check in the General Interest check forum as well?

No, I specifically don't want to discourage one-liners. It is a bit of a tradition in PARANOIA forum RP'ing, for example, to post ZAPZAPZAP! to announce opening fire with your laser and so on. It's also a comedy game. I'd like for people to have the freedom to post for maximum humor. Jokes aren't always better when they're overly verbose. So after careful consideration I am pretty certain free is the place for this game. Still hoping to reference it in a casual interest check, though.

Wait, just noticed the bit about general interest check. Perhaps that's what I need to do.

P.S. thank you for the prompt response.
