Hogwarts (saz/betelgeuse)

[Betelgeuse]

Left at the bottom of the Astronomy Tower, right after the painting of the wizard with a turnip and two doors down from the statue of a goblin warlord, across the hall. Sidney stopped at the destination, a tapestry of a beautiful waterfall. Sidney Dent wasn't tall, imposing or entirely well-kept when it came to his appearance. He was a confident, joking individual that almost always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to speak to almost every student in Hogwarts.

"Good evening." He said directly to the tapestry, which instantly began to curl from the bottom and rolled itself up to reveal a small, three-foot tall door. There was very little pause before he opened the small door to reveal a massive walk-in closet lined with shelves that had to be at least ten feet tall. The seventh year Hufflepuff had to make it quick, pulling several items out of his pockets before dispersing them in the closet on various shelves. The closet was stuffed with as many banned items as Filch's store-room, which he had learned to keep safely hidden behind the tapestry that he had found during his third year. It was a location unknown to other students at the school and something that he was sure Hogwarts just created itself over time, along with the other secrets of the ancient school.

There was a sudden, loud beeping noise from his wrist, which was an alarm he had set earlier in the day. It was Friday and the beginning of a very long night; he had been given detention a day earlier for an accident in Potions class with another student... his ex girlfriend, Stephanie Oak. It was almost entirely accidental- the two had been assigned partners with an extremely daunting potion at hand; Stephanie usually took charge during harder assignments, but a comment about the attractiveness of Nelly Carter and the mistake of putting too much Mugwort in the potion caused a brief, disastrous meltdown between the two. Needless to say, it ended with the pair's detention, something that Sidney was entirely used to, but a surprise to Stephanie.

"Gonna be late!" He exclaimed, closing the closet door which was immediately hidden by the tapestry. The young wizard dashed through the lower-levels of the castle in order to make it to the Grounds Keeper's hut in time for detention.

Stephanie walked down to the wooden hut where she was due to have her detention. She had been enjoying spending time with her friends Megara and holly but due to a disastrous potions lesson she had been forced into facing a detention. She was hoping that it would not be like the detentions that Megara had told her about. Megara had told her that the detention would be spent going into the deep dark woods. She was not scared of going into the woods she was simply fearful of going into the woods in the dark.

She arrived at the wooden hut and walked inside. It was empty. Great, she would be spending her time with her ex-boyfriend, Sidney Dent. He had hurt her so much so that she didn't really want to be around him. It wasn't that she disliked him because she didn't. She just hated the things that he had put her through. She trusted him but then he broke that and due to that she felt a little uncomfortable around him.
