Women are allowed, just not respected. You can still play a female.

    Name: Adam Hale
    Age: 24
    Sex: Male
    Species: Human
    Profession:

Appearance - I'll get this section done ASAP, sorry for the delay.

Biography - Adam was raised by his parents in a quiet and secluded area. His parents owned the general store in a small hamlet, selling the usual bread, milk and other merchandise to the local people and wandering travelers passing through. When Adam was six, his mother passed away while giving birth to his younger sister, Rose. His father was heartbroken, becoming a shadow of his former self. During this time. Adam took it upon himself to help out in any way possible, mainly by looking after his sister while his father worked. As they grew up Adam was always there for her, teaching her and helping her through life, becoming the best of friends. Sadly, just before the war started their father passed away from an unknown illness. Adam took charge of the general store, his mind set on looking after his sister and giving her the best life possible.

Six years later, Adam received a letter of conscription. He left his home (his sister now in charge of the general store) to take up arms and defend the kingdom. He still writes to Rose often, and looks forward to the day that the war will end so he can return home to live in peace for the rest of his days.

Although he has not been in many situations where he has needed to fight, after living in the countryside and spending much of his teenage years outdoors he has gained some survival skills that may end up saving him someday.

    Equipment

Main Armament: An iron shortsword measuring just under two feet in length with a crucifix pommel.
Secondary Armament: A light wooden shield to be held in the off hand.
Armor: A quilted leather vest studded with iron to give limited protection, as well as leather bracers, boots and gloves.
Supplies: All recruits are given four days rations, two days water in wineskins, and supple bandages as well as a tent and bedroll all packed into a ruck weighing just over twenty pounds.
Other: All recruits are given a short bow and a bushel of ten arrows to hunt for food.

    Name:
    Gabriel Farscythe

    Age:
18 - though only just. His birthday falls only a week after his conscription.

    Sex:
    Male.

    Species:
    Human

    Profession:
The son of a clergyman, all who know Gabriel expect him to follow his father's footsteps into the church. Before being pulled into the war, he aided his father around the church however he could: setting the chapel up for ceremonies, sweeping it down after service - he had been allowed to give minor blessings of his own.

    Appearance

A life of servitude and devotion is a life without luxury; Gabriel has lived with as little comfort as possible his entire life, and it shows. His tall, athletic body is hard and tense; there always seems to be a quivering energy within him, begging to be released - like a tightly coiled spring. Long arms and legs densely packed with muscle suggest a strength deceptive to their slightness. Most of the time, Gabriel's lithe form is obscured behind a hooded monk's habit. Made of brown, coarse wool, this thick habit covers him from head to toe and hides his body completely. However, even when hidden behind such a garment, there is something about his movement that suggests a gracefulness to any who see him.

Gabriel's eyes shine as azure as that of his patron god, Razeisa, and his golden locks glow bright as the noon-day sun. High cheekbones, a strong jaw and full lips complete the appearance of a proud, almost regal young man; he is often compared to the beautiful, ethereal angels which his father has sworn to serve.

    Biography

Gabriel was his parent's first and only child. His mother, a sweet and matronly woman by the name of Celia, died giving birth to her son, leaving her husband, a clergyman by the name of Charles, to raise the child. Charles was a devoted servant of Razeisa, the god of health and victory, and took ceremonies held in the small town's only church. Growing up, religion was all Gabriel knew: Razeisa's faith decreed that one must be healthy in both body and mind, and as such his days were comprised of rigorous exercise designed to give him mastery of his body, and deep theological discussions with his father.

By the time he turned sixteen - it is the belief of Razeisa that a boy becomes a man at this age - Gabriel had developed into the perfect follower of his god. His faith in the Almighty's power was absolute, and his body and mind were sharp and quick as a rapier. None in the village doubted that Gabriel would one day take his father's place in the church - "and what a fine clergyman he will be," the villagefolk often remarked.

However, Gabriel was not quite as content as his appearance suggested. A restlessness was growing within him, a belief that there had to be more to life than that which was contained within the four walls of the church. He tried to quell these rebellious notions, for he felt they were against the will of Razeisa - that they were a way to test his faith. He was determined not to fail. But try as he might, he could not stop his imagination from wondering what life was like outside his village. A month before his nineteenth birthday, Gabriel finally came to a decision: that on his birthday, he would leave, and join the war effort. For was Razeisa not the god of victory? By joining Aemeria's army, he believed that he could both fulfill the will of his god and see more of the world; he could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

The conscription could not have come at a better time. Though Gabriel is afraid of what might be in store for him - he has heard the stories of old veterans, and knows war to be a horrible thing - his faith in Razeisa is absolute, and believes that he is headed towards his destiny.

    Equipment

All that Gabriel brings to war from home is a small, stone pendant. Marked with the symbol of Razeisa, the pendant was blessed by his father when news of Gabriel's conscription first reached the family. Charles only said that perhaps, when battle was waged, the stone would give him courage and strength to continue. Perhaps.

I REMEMBER BACK IN MY DAYS, I THOUGHT "I WONDER IF ANYONE WOULD MIND IF I USED LAUTREC'S NAME" Then I don't remember what happened but I didn't go through with that and instead tried to design an armor set that could maybe fit in the Dark souls' world/style. It went horribly, but I learned more about french names.
