Wow, look at all the roleplayers!

I've spent about three months searching for roleplay partner search sites that aren't on LiveJournal. Today, I found this place!

I'm an avid roleplayer. I consider myself a literate roleplayer, though I realize a lot of people have different standards they associate with 'literate'. I try to write decent sized posts, but sometimes one-liners happen.

Let's see...

I'm twenty-three, male, and I have a wide range of what I like to roleplay. I usually prefer roleplaying over forums, but I recently discovered I love to roleplay over google docs.

I like to chat with roleplay partners over instant messenger and I have a tendency to ramble about my characters sometimes. I like partners that can tolerate my rambling and who like to ramble back. I love heavy plotting, even if we never end up applying some of our plots. I like to plot in the hypothetical OOC of our games as well.

I like to roleplay science-fiction, fantasy, high fantasy, slice of life, and hurt/comfort. I have no problem playing multiple characters and multiple pairings. I don't usually roleplay in fandoms. I prefer male/male games, sometimes male/female and rarely female/female. I'm not really interested in playing smut.

My shyness tends to stem from the fact that when getting used to a new partner/new game I feel like I don't play very well into I get a good feeling for it. That awkward "starting something new" phase. ^^;;

But I'm looking through the roleplayers now. Hopefully I'll find a nice little nook somewhere around here that I'll fit into. :3

I use to be so bad that I had to have people come to me. I couldn't go to anyone else. x]

Thanks. I've been looking through the interest checks and haven't really found much of anything that interests me. So I'm trying to think of what to post in one, because I'm not entirely sure which of my usual cravings I want to play the most right now.
