I went to a charity event this weekend. It was a 36 hour LAN fest, and I agreed to volunteer. I was familiar with the organization putting it on, and I was excited to get involved for the first time.
I showed up not knowing anyone. And the guy that walked up to show me what my job would be was none other than a guy I used to moderate with on a different website. I knew he lived in my state, but I had no idea he was planning on attending this event.
Accidentally bumping into someone you met on the internet. Pretty weird.
