Jet moved down the ladder before he hit the ground. The hole closed up above them. "You can take off your blindfold now." Jet said before he started walking again.

She immediately reached up and took off the fabric covering her eyes. It didn't do much good. Clover realized they were in a sewer pipe and the light was dim. It took her a moment to adjust to the lighting as she was carried through the pipes. Relaxing her hold for a moment Clover reached up to pet Grim's soft fur.

Grim didn't purr, but watched with his jade eyes. They continued down the dark pipe till they reached another door. Pushing it open with one hand, they instantly walked into an underground city. People walked here and there, though not a single person stopped to see the newcommers.
"Welcome to the Rebel's hide out." Jet said with a smirk. "We should probably get you to the infermery before you go see Reyn. Stuff topside isn't exactly the most sanitary. Expecally after three wars."

"Three wars..?" Clover whispered, mystified by the bustling city. There were more people here than what she had seen top side. Suddenly Clover's foot gave an angry twinge, "I agree, I should probably see the doctor..." Suddenly Clover sat up a little, "You don't take blood, do you?"

Jet shook his head. "You'll get it disinfected and bandaged. Unfortently that's all we can do. Blood tests and things like that, that's at the city. We dont have the equipment here." He headed over to a run down building that had a curtain for a door and pushed it open. There were beds with people laying on it. Women and a couple of men ran around, tending to those who were wounded or sick.
"Hey doc, do you mind bandaging this girl for me?" Jet called out.
A boy, no older then seventeen sighed as he headed over. "I've got two sick patients and I have to remove a guy's damaged leg in an hour and your asking me for more?"
Jet shrugged as he set Colver down on a bed. "She'll just take a moment. Got herself cut topside."
Grim jumped off her shoulders and looked up at her with a look that said 'your kidding right?'

Clover shrugged at her cat then looked at the doctor, "You're so young!" She gasped, doctors were middle aged men with graying hair. Some were really old, but none of them were this... This doctor was just a kid! By her estimation Clover had aged 5 years in the 500 she'd been in the pod, so this boy was Clover's own age! And she didn't even know if that was right! Right now, though, she didn't care. Her foot was hurting and she knew infection would set in soon. She also just wanted to find out what happened to her father.

The boy arched an eyebrow at her. "I maybe young, but before my chip got fried, I was a top doctor at the city. Now, stick your foot out while I tend to it." He motioned at one of the girls to get hm some disinfectant and bandages. "It doesn't look too deep of a cut. So you dont need stitches. Be grateful for that." The girl came back with a small bottle and the bandages. "And its not too big so I dont need to worry about using too much of this. We're running low. Remember that on your next trip Jet. If I'm going to tend to everyone's wounds, we need more supplies." He poured the disinfectant on her wound before quickly bandaging it up. "Dont stick it in the rain and dont get those bandages dirty. You'll be fine."

The disinfectant burned, Clover clenched her teeth. "I'll try to keep it clean," She promised the doctor as he finished with her. Looking at Jet and John, Clover nodded to them, "Okay, let's go meet Reyn. I have some questions of my own to ask him."

Jet nodded as he offered her his back once more. "Best keep off your foot. I dont mind taking you to him."
Grim rolled his eyes, tired of keeping quiet. Instead though, he got back on her shoulders and settled. He didnt' want to bring attention to himself quite yet.

Clover took the offered ride, her foot still stinging. Her stomach was in knots now, she was going to meet the famous Reyn and find out what had happened to the world she'd known and why it was the world she was in now.
