I guess it was only a week, and not a month, but still.

Only got a couple things to address:

    1) Gap between the two. That was to offer Managers more breathing room, not to be seen as a hard cut off. That would be my bad, in which case a 500-1.5k Cas > 1.5k-3k Adv would be fine, is fine. Although I will say, having done my share of work here and, now, elsewhere, that hard cut offs are responded to a lot easier. When clear lines are present, and no blur is open, people are a lot more willing to force themselves to "comply" (if you will) with the limits presented to them.

    2) The reason my suggestion to change the names within WOTM was rejected (and several times) was due to a mentality that I am not allowed to mention or even bring up within the WOTM sections. Something I had slowly forced a change in through my involvement behind the scenes. Additionally, Contra and very "prominent members on site" gave me a flat "No" several times. There was also the question of "What would you call it?" at one point, where I lacked names until further doing my own research into things.

Name changes: Meh. I think people who actually bother to read the guidelines, and especially those who read a months entries (or even just peruse a few entries casually) will instantly get an idea of what the contest is actually like. None of this "Casual RPers won't be willing to try Advanced" stuff. I mean, I've only ever done Casual RPs, terrified of Advanced RPs... yet what do I do in here? I actively strive for the Advanced contest every month. Does that sound like someone who's intimidated by the supposed bias?
No it does not, but I've heard a LOT more of the opposite.

Hmm. Well I see no strong argument against it and, as stated, I'm leaning towards the idea, myself. However, if Contra has already said "no" then I'm not sure how easy it'll be to change her mind. Here lies the tricky part, as such a big change would no doubt need to be approved by her.

Also, while I'm here, I think it's been mutually agreed upon at this point that the "Advanced winners cannot enter Casual" rule need not exist for a number of reasons. I'll go take it down officially, while I'm thinking about it.

[[ I didn't know we had a suggestion thread. This is great!]]

Read through everything, interesting discussion. Like Herzinth, I'll just throw in my side so that you have it.

Although, really, my opinions are pretty much the exact same as Herzinth's. Must be in our blood, or something. I'll note, however, that where you say you've not heard as many on the side of keeping the current names, Dudel, I think that may be largely due to anyone who likes them won't bother saying anything about it. Though it might be true anyways; I have no way of knowing.
