Welcome to the Academy of Alexandria, young Wielder. My name is Rex Alphonse Castillo, Headmaster. You were brought here because you show the potential for greatness, even more so than your peers in your regular Wielding Academies. While I understand parting with your previous partners after graduation may have been difficult, I assure you it will not have been in vain. Few are those who continue their wielding education after the standard academy training, but you; you have been brought here to become legends. Though you are right to think very highly of yourselves, I would advise not to build diamond egos just yet. Or else They will chew you up and spit you out...
Three people have already expressed deep interest. At ABSOLUTE MOST we will be a total of seven. Ideally I want five people in total (myself plus four). I will accept up to two more people if their CSs BLOW. ME. AWAY. (I'm kind of spineless so submit it anyway :P)
Prepare for the most EPIC, most ADVENTURY, most ACTION-PACKED, most COMICAL RP... EVER!
Hello players So, as explained you are attending the Alexandria Academy of Advanced Wielding Arts. You have already graduated the "generic" Wielding Academy and are a young adult between ages 17 to 23 (roughly, you can be older, but not younger).
Oh, if you have not visited the interest check, here's the gist of it:
- Loosely based on the Soul Eater anime: Weapons are people that transform into the items themselves. The bond between the Wielder and the Weapon determines the pair's strength and unlocks new forms and powers.
- Your character is one of the chosen few able to wield a Legendary Weapon. They are from myths. Choose whichever you want but it MUST BE HISTORICAL/MYTHICAL.
- Since the player characters are Elite Wielders already, their prowess with plain weapons is outstanding. The challenge is that THESE "Legendary" weapons are difficult to get along with, though incredibly powerful.
- If you have seen Soul Eater, think of Excalibur. Yeah. That's right. The Weapons and Wielders won't get along straight off the bat. You will roleplay both and the goal is psychological development on both parts to eventually have their personalities "agree" to they may battle at full potential.
- The point of being a Wielder and bonding with a Weapon is to defeat Demons.
- The kids are discovered at a young age to be sensitive to supernatural energies and can see demons. Also, only with them can "Weapons" transform and unlock their potential. Pairing Wielder with Weapon is the only way to slay demons.
- All potential Wielders go to their continent's Wielding Academy and most graduate. They are, however, only Wielders of standard weapons. Very few are selected to become Wielders of Mythical Weapons. Chosen for skill and potential, these graduates are all very strong and requested to part from their original partner to team up with a Mythical Weapon at the Academy of Alexandria. This is where they will learn to pass to the ultimate level of Wielding and are sent on advanced missions with especially destructive and dangerous demons to exorcize.
You could say tis a mix of Soul Eater, Bleach and D. Gray Man.
The will be plot twists and big baddies, but that's for later. Have fun while you can
SO! Before I explain the CS sheets, here are
- No god moding. Our characters are powerful and having their own special traits, but we are in essence on equal footing. Unless I, Mr GM, say so.
- Respect your characters' psychological progression. You can't harness the pair's full potential if they don't get along, and they won't for most of the RP. This is what will give it some comic effect.
- Any other rule I decide to come up with
Posting Rules
I will mark "GM-Type" posts with ~{ and }~. The lapse between two GM posts will be called a "Cycle".
In each cycle you may do the following:
- Post 1 / One / Un / Ein / Uno / Jeden "Action-Type" post. This is an action your character initiates, something new.
- Post 2 / Two / Deux / Zwei / Dos / Dwa "Reaction-Type" posts. This is something your character does in reaction to other people's actions.
- Create a collaborative post at http://sync.in/ and put it in the IC thread in [hider="give it a name" ] [/hider ] tags if you want to have long back-and-forth conversations, sparing matches, etc. This will be taken into account for a character's experience IF it is well-written, well-thought out and logical.

It may seem like I'm asking a lot, but ultimately having this info on hand will help you progress and build the relationship between your Wielder and Weapon. Short Bio: Kelly grew up in a house of three children and their father, who wasn't in the house much due to his job. The three of them -kelly and her two older brothers, Chris and Ben- learned how to cook and clean, often making it a game. When their father was home, it was a strict enviroment, a stark contrast to the care free way it was when he was not home.
Personality: Kelly is very childish is the sense that she has a hard time taking anything seriously. she absolutly loves to goof around and generally cause harmless trouble by playing tricks and pranks. She's imagnitive, and able to think quickly to talk her way out of any trouble. She's usually light and cheery, and hard to put in a bad mood. If someone were to anger her, though, she'll start a fight no matter who she's against or how many.
Notable Qualities: As long as someone has a sense of humor, she can make anyone smile. People often call her an enternal optomist, able to always think brightly.
Notable Faults: With being so childish, people find it hard to take her seriously, so she's often treated as the child she acts like, no matter how important what she has to say is. She also jokes at important meetings, so others around her never know if she truly understands anything.
Habits: Kelly has a habit of making up nonsense poems, creating words to fit her needs. She'll do this randomly, turning the words over her head, and then saying it aloud, repeating it if she likes it. She rarely writes the poems down, and if she does, she's real proud of it.
Strengths as a Wielder: Kelly's light on her feet, fast, and a quick thinker. She could easily get behind you to attack, but usually wouldn't. Fair play and all. She also knows how to use the enviroment well, using it to Aid in her fight.
What motivates your character: Kelly hates to see people frown, so she wants to take out anything that causes people pain, even if she gets hurt herself.

Powers
> Basic Power: Increadible sharpness and durability. He can cut through almost anything, and won't break. According to the legend, Roland tried to destroy Durendal to keep him from the enemy when he was near death. He was unable to even scratch the blade, however, and only succeeded in taking chunks off of the rock. Instead, he hid the blade beneath his body, dying. Durendal has been said to be the strongest sword, unable to be broken or damaged. As a result, the edge stays sharp, keeping Durendal able to cut through most anything, if wielded properly.
> Awakened Power: "Continued Force." When swung, extra force will continue on, increasing the power of the strike or hitting something from a little distance. However, if the hit isn't controled properly, it will damage objects around the target.
> Ultimate Power: Duplication of both the weilder, and the weapon, creating up to five exact copies at maximum power.
Short Bio: Smithed by Wayland the smith, Durendal went through a couple pairs of hands before probably his most famous weilder, Roland. Acording to "The song of Roland," Durendal contains within his hilt one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, hair of Saint Denis, and a piece of robes from the Virgin Mary, and is presummed why his blade is so sharp and durable. After Roland's death, he continued to be passed from wielder to wielder, staying sharp and strong.
Personality: Duren is a very proper person with a level head. While he does have a sene of humor, it doesn't show very often through the layers of professionalism and calmness. While he is a bit of a narrcisist, he does care about those around him and is usually very polite. He bases his opinions on facts alone, and isn't one for stories that have elements that don't make sense in the real world.
Notable Qualities: Duren is organized beyond belief. He can see a problem from all sides, see all the pros and cons, and make an informed choice. People can count on him to solve any quarrels.
Notable Faults: Being so upright and proper, many people see him as a snob at first. This is not a problem for Duren, being one to enjoy silence and solitude, but his people skills are about a centery outdated. What he sees as polite may have changed.
Habits: Duren has a habit of taking over situations that need fixing, automatically assuming that others will ruin something beyond repair. If he's told, however, he will leave a project alone, waiting to see how it will turn out, aiding only when asked to help again.
Attitude towards new wielder: Duren has a very low opinion of Kelly, seeing her as nothing more than an ignorant child, too young to understand most anything. While he veiws her as an overall annoyance, he does have some respect for her light hearted veiw of the world. He feels as if he can only see the problems of a situation, where Kelly can pick out the good points, even if it is foolish to concentrate on those alone.

Love it! Only thing I would say is emphasize on the "supernatural" sharpness of the blade and that it is indestructible. I just think you need to make it blatant. What you wrote is good (basic power category) but like I told you in pm, Durendal is the most powerful blade as far as brute strength is concerned, you need to make it obvious.

Sorry, I added the "Brief Bio" section. You'll have to add it, Does not have to be long, just to provide a better understanding of the character. It's somewhat more important for the Weapon.

Personality: Taylor is a quiet person, who generally doesn’t say much to anyone and from the surface he looks like the type of person who doesn’t want to get involved in anything that doesn’t concern him. He is pleasant enough to talk to, but will hide anything meaningful he wants to say by just smiling and walking off. Taylor may look like a calm type of person, but if angered he will not stop until either he is forced to, or the matter that angered him has been resolved.
Notable Qualities: Taylor will defend the innocent, or people that have lost the ability to defend themselves. He also makes a brilliant cup of Tea, a skill that even he himself wonders where he learnt.
Notable Faults: Since Taylor doesn’t open up to anyone, few people feel like they can trust him. He also misses the small picture sometimes, as he is to focuses on the bigger picture.
Habits: Taylor has a habit of staring into the sky, and a couple of people have mentioned that maybe he secretly lives up there.
Strengths as a Wielder: Taylor has a calm mind, and thus can analyze situations fairly well, even under extreme pressure. He is also fairly strong, and has quite an ability to exploit his opponent’s weaknesses if he works them out.
What motivates your character: No one really knows what motivates Taylor, but if he had to be honest he would say it would be something close to vengeance.

> Basic Power (always in effect): The legend about Dyrnwyn states that if it is drawn by someone worthy, it will be able to slay all evil, even death itself. Thus when Dyrnwyn is drawn by someone worthy, it is engulfed in flames, which are lethal to anyone that touches it.
> Awakened Power: In its awakened form the flames can be manipulated by wielder, and thus can be extended and even fired off like a shot of concentrated fire.
> Ultimate Power: It is said Dyrnwyn has the power over even Death himself, and thus it gives both herself and her wielder an almost demonic like aura. While the Aura is active Both Alice and Taylor seem to move as if through two realms and their fighting strength and speed increase.
Personality: Alice is a very in your face type of person, who will always tell you her thoughts even if you didn’t ask to hear them. She has a defined sense of right and wrong, and will go to the very extremes to see that justice is upheld. She is quick to anger, and thus seems to get into more fights then you can poke a stick at. Although this is the case, she is still kind, and actually enjoys reading a book by the fire at night.
Notable Qualities: Alice is a very loyal person if she likes you, and is quick to come to the defense of people who she deems as ‘Worthy’.
Notable Faults: Alice is extremely quick to temper, and thus can be seen generally arguing with one person or another. She is also blinded by her own sense of Justice, and struggles at times to view the world through other people’s eyes.
Habits: Has the habit of talking to much, and playing with a strand of white hair that is just over her forehead. When she is stressed she can be seen clutching a small round rock that she keeps with her at all times.
Attitude towards new wielder: Alice thinks that Taylor has no passion or drive, and this to Alice is the worst type of person. Alice dislikes Taylor, and feels like she has no time for him.
Brief Bio: Kyle had a relatively normal childhood until he was recruited at the age of twelve for the Wielder Academy's North American Branch. He trained extensively in Taijiquan and Taijijian during those nine years and became the top Jian Wielder of his class. He misses his family, but students get to visit fairly often, so it is not dire.
Personality: Kyle is calm and collected, for the most part, which meshes well with the martial arts he practices. He does however still have quite a bit of impulsiveness in him and is quite the Reactive young man. He has won many fights due to his aggressiveness and ability to overwhelm the opponent. He lacks a bit as far as empathy is concerned and preoccupies himself little with side consequences as long as his goal is achieved.
Notable Qualities: Strong will, go-getter. Rarely fails to achieve excellence. Hard worker. Loyal as a principal, not necessarily due to emotion ties. Protects everyone around him from harm.
Notable Faults: Seems emotionally detached (though is not completely). Pig headed. Can be reckless. Has little regard for the consequences of his actions if they lead to achieving his set goals.
Habits: Military-like training in the morning. Has a penny with a hole through it he wears around his neck like a pendant and will not part with it. Flakes on friends a lot if there is something "more important" to do.
Strengths as a Wielder: Kyle is resourceful and strong-willed. Mastery of Taijiquan and Taijijian. The combination allows him to emerge from just about any situation victorious. But at a cost...
What motivates your character: He is very "mission" oriented. He is military-like in his obedience. He sees his purpose in life as protecting humankind from demons and will not relent when someone is in danger.
Section 2: The Weapon
Mythical Name: Glory of Ten Powers
"Social" Name: Hua Tou
Gender: Male
Brief Bio: Forged by a couple of Tibetan spiritualists, "Glory of Ten Powers" has always been a sword handed down to particularly skilled warriors. When he bonds with his wielder he will protect them from harm. The spirit inhabiting the sword, Hua Tou, who is also it's humanoid persona, is very spiritual in the Buddhist tradition and so has only rarely been paired with someone who truly unlocked it's true potential. The rumor that the sword had been acquired by enemies and melted into a talisman were not true; it was a counterfeit.
Appearances
The sword's tassel becomes almost two meters long and wraps around the Wielder's arm and waist. The Wielder's clothes become this:
Powers
> Basic Power (always in effect): The sword's innate ability is to cleanse the mind of all it touches. This gives the sword the ability to dispel mind-affecting spells and abilities and "cut through" illusions. With greater strain on the Wielder and if the relationship between the pair is strong enough, it can free people from demonic possession.
> Awakened Power (activated power available in Awakened Form): Hua Tou manifests as a white aura and protects the Wielder from all physical/bodily harm.
> Ultimate Power (Ultimate attack/power only for much later in the RP): Being hit by Glory of Ten Powers when it and the Wielder are in perfect unison (and enlightened) causes the stricken to be afflicted by their own impure actions. The negativity they have released into the world will be wiped from the universal makeup and returned to them through the sword.
Personality: Calm and collected, much of what would be expected of an ancient Buddhist spirit. Does not act rashly and will not act against "Fate". Believes anything non-demonic happens for a reason and must be extensively and annoyingly argued with to act against what he believes is simply an act of Karma.
Notable Qualities: Infinitely wise. Willing to teach despite attitudes mentioned below. Resourceful as possesses almost universal knowledge.
Notable Faults: Places himself above everyone, though in a complacent way, not condescending. Will disregard any logic based on "impure" reasoning... which is most.
Habits: Smokes a pipe and must be left to meditate at dawn, dusk, when the sun is highest and when the moon is highest.
Attitude towards new wielder: Strong dislike for Kyle's impulsiveness and lack of empathy. His reckless disregard for consequences of his actions is the worst though. Hua Tou chastises the boy for being impure and is condescending towards him. Is frustrated with the young man because unless his Wielder achieves enlightenment, he can not.
