Wielders of Myth (Soul Eater loosely inspired RP) - Interest Check

So I'm developing an idea for an Action/Adventure/Comedy/Epic roleplay. The inspiration from Soul Eater is that weapons are actually PEOPLE and transform into tools for wielders to use. The strength of the pair comes from their relationship. The Soul Eater inspiration also has the setting playing around a school for people wielding such weapons.

You play the wielder of a mythical weapon. Like Excalibur, Mjolnir, Carnwennan, Caduceus, Death Scythe, Sudarshana Chakra, Vajra... etc! Find something you love and feel you could give personality to. There's the main aspect to develop in this RP: these are mythical weapons that have passed through the hands of MANY wielders and have special powers, hence they have special personalities. If you have seen Soul Eater, you know where I am going. Excalibur is in it, but he is an ASSHOLE! Seriously, no one can stand him, making him impossible to wield.

As one of the fated to wield a Mythical Weapon you are both excited and annoyed. You will go through a lot of grief, but it will be necessary to forge a bond with them because as the plot unfolds there will (obviously) be some epic battles and world saving to be done.

Any ideas are welcome. I am not inclined to allow custom mythical weapons because you can use ANY ONE FROM ANY MYTH, as long as you can link us to some info. If it becomes a major issue for diversity I will reconsider.

As for the weapon I haven't decided yet... may go surf the web for something really unique ^.^

In terms of the Wielder/Weapon's relationship... are we allowed to make them hate each other at the start? Reckon it would make it pretty interesting

That's actually pretty much the idea. Not necessarily "I don't like you!" and "Me neither!", but definitely make them have conflicting personalities. While I aim not to make this a necessarily heavy RP, I do want players to emphasize psychological development and portray it through battle practice and such.

Basically the weapons just don't respect the wielders at first, for one reason or another (up to you to decide based on their given personalities) and the wielder reacts in a certain way (again based on personality).

Awesome! I will be making the OOC with the expected CS info no later than tomorrow. For this idea I somewhat prefer a small group and want to get things underway quickly, so as to keep the hype up :P

I will be limiting the RP to myself + four people, unless there is a sudden avalanche of intrestees, at which point I have an idea to accomodate everyone. BWAHAHAHAHAHA
