Welcome to Sky High! This is a high school that teaches superpowered teens how to control and develop their powers so one day they might grow up to be a superhero, sidekick, or a villain. Most students who have superpowers have superhero or sidekick parents from whom they got them from. The high school teaches all core studies you would learn in a normal high school with the addition of classes teaching you heroism, weaponry, and gym class to help you control your powers. You are not allowed to use your powers outside of the school gym while attending school. When you break the rules, you go to detention which is a power neutralizer room. The room prohibits you from using all powers. When you start out as a freshman, you are to take a short power placement test to determine whether you take hero classes or sidekick classes. It all depends on your power and what can be done with it. Heroes and Sidekicks do not have the same classes together except Lunch and gym. It is known for the heroes to pick on the sidekicks but this is not permitted or any other type of bullying. We hope you enjoy your stay at Sky High!

This RP is based off the movie Sky High. It’s a fun Disney movie and I highly recommend it to those that haven’t seen it. The RP would make more sense if you watched the movie. This is a superhero RP. Your characters will not be superheroes/sidekicks/villains yet but your parents could be. You can have two hero parents, one hero parent and a mortal, or two mortals. Mind you, sidekicks are the byproduct of only one hero parent and two mortals. Usually those with the stronger abilities have two hero parents. It’s all genetics. You are allowed TWO powers max which are normally either what your parents’ powers are, or around the same category of powers as them. Of course you can just have one. Normally, if you have one hero parent, you get one power. All Free Roam RP rules do apply! I call the shots and if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask.

The high school campus is floating high in the sky, hence the name. The school bus goes around and picks up the students like a regular school bus. Once all the students are in, the bus takes off into the sky and lands on campus. There are no dorms, meaning you live at home. It is a big campus and looks just like a high school on the inside. All students who attend will receive a school ID with their name, year, and ID number with a bar code.

Telekinesis – The ability to move objects and persons with the mind. The user can manipulate the movement of objects to any degree, even able to create telekinetic blasts and shields. The user can also use this ability to levitate oneself to give the person flight. Advanced Telekinetics can control all things at a subatomic level.
Telepathy – The ability to receive and transmit thoughts with the mind. The user can read the minds of others, as well as speak to others via the mind. For visual images, the user must physically touch the other person. A sub-ability of this would be Telepathic Suggestion, allowing the user to make others think, do, or see whatever they want them to. Highly skilled Telepaths are able to do a plethora of things with the mind that are limitless.
Personality:
Tommy is your average rascal teen. He loves to goof around and have a fun time with his friends and family. He’s friendly, outgoing, and an overall ball of energy. He treats everyone with respect that gives it to him in return. However don’t take his kindness for granted. Tommy will defend himself strongly if threatened or if his friends and family are in danger. He is very intelligent, making straight A’s in all of his courses. He doesn’t look like the smart kid when you first lay your eyes on him, but he’s the true definition of ‘don’t judge a book by its cover.’
Brief Bio:
Tommy is the son of Surge and Push, a male and female duo team, the most powerful heroes in the world. Tommy actually didn’t get his powers until he hit puberty while most other kids get theirs while they are 6 months old. Both his parents are superheroes; actually they are two of the most powerful in the world. His mom’s superhero name is Surge and she’s a telepath. His dad’s hero name is Push and he’s a telekinetic. Tommy received both of their powers through genetics and they already seeing him become more powerful than both of them. When Tommy first went to Sky High, his powers weren’t that well controlled but just because of who his parents were, he was put in the Hero classes. He was bullied just like any other freshman until he got into a fight which landed him in detention. From then on, he never got picked again. Now Tommy is a senior in high school and is the class president of his year. He’s one of the smartest and top students of his year. He hopes to graduate and get his hero name.

Brief Bio: She never met her parents, being put into fostercare. She was moved around alot, from one horrible foster home to another. Finally, a couple found out about her "talents" and sent her to the school. Thankfully, Principal Star was kind enough to help her gain a job at a local cafe so she can live in an apartment near the school.
Other: she doesn't talk much and is a little bit of a hopeless romantic.

Brief Bio: Dani woke up one day in the nurses office she was told that they found her in the middle of a field where things had been ripped out of the ground but that she hadn't hurt anyone. They also asked her if she remembered her past but she couldn't remember anything but her powers and name. No one knew who she was and she is an outcast due to the way she ended up at the school.

Appearance:tall and lanky(about 6 foot 140 pounds), James has an almost unhealthily pale pallor. He has long shaggy black hair and bright green eyes standing in contrast to his pale skin. James usual attire consists of a pair of converse, dark blue jeans, and a graphic t with a pinstriped blazer overtop, he is also rarely see without a pair oh head phones around his neck.

Power: Shadow Meld- James can vanish into any shadow and re-appear out of another within a limited distance(about 100m), this does not need to be instantaneous and he can stay shadow melded as shadows remain within a 100m radius of his original vanish point.
Shadow Crafting- James can temporarily solidify and manipulate shadows, most easily his own, high intensity light can still dissipate solidified shadows

Personality:Initially a bit reserved once James warms up to someone he becomes more open and sarcastic in a good natured way, he tends to be a pessimist by nature and has bouts of acute apathy and generally finds it difficult to put effort into things that he doesn't care much about(for this reason he tends to perform poorly in school). He is also intensely loyal once you earn it and to wrong him or friend will earn a vengeful and sometimes cruel wrath.

Brief Bio: The child of vigilante(they never much liked the word "hero") team Veritas and Equitas, James is attending Shy High in order to further hone is abilities and follow in his parents foot steps. Many of the other students dislike and perhaps even fear somewhat James due to his adherence to his parents somewhat extreme, ends justify the means, method of crime fighting.
