    Best Piano Tunes

Some of my favourite tunes composed on the piano. Chopin (often called the Poet of the piano) Ludovico and more. Anyone is free post their favourites here as well ^_^

I love Chopin! I can play one of his compositions, a trill-filled, fast ensemble called "Petit Chien." I'm also working on learning a masterpiece of his, titled "Fantasie Impromptu." The ending measures of Petit Chien look like this. Imagine playing them at a tempo of 215, the standard tempo it is supposed to be played at.

Chopin to me (personally) is an inspiration. His life story is amazing, I suggest (if you don't already) to look his story up.

Many of his works are believed to have been composed in secret when he was alone. But due to them being utterly depressing (because he was used to playing at balls, so waltz's etc) he burned them. Only a handful have been saved, and that was only because he gave them to his close friend who refused to destroy them.

For anyone who suffers from depression, he is someone to take a page from.
