Equipment (What you usually carry): Her pocket-knife is something she carries everywhere. Also, every time they get off the ship, she always brings a backpack with basic first-aids elements and equipment to treat emergencies.
Personality: Miria is an observer. Nothing ever goes unnoticed by her, and she is quick to get to accurate conclusions with what she sees. But she's not one to usually bring her thoughts up. Independent, understanding, and a good confident, she has a lot of patience for almost anyone; but, once it runs out, and she loses her temper, you really don't want to be near her.
Background: Miria was born in New Bavaria, a pro-Alliance planet. Her parents weren't too fond of this Alliance though, and they passed on their ideals and knowdeledge to her. When she was 19, she left home to explore other planets and cultures; she came across an old man who would become her teacher, and they traveled together for many years, going through dangers, experiencing the roughness of the reality, and having to survive the violence and harshness of the Outer Rim, where they spent most of their time volunteering as doctors. She rarely talks about those times, though.
The man died of old age when they were doing voluntary medical service not long after the Annexation War in Bilior. Deciding that she didn't want to be alone, she didn't think it twice before joining a newly-formed crew as the medic. Miria and the captain got along well, and ended up falling in love and marrying after not long.
