Yin and Yang
Battleground used: The Marshlands
__________________________________________________ ____
Combatent nr 1: Furimio Ayuna
Ew. Ayuna, already transformed into her battle-shape, was jumping across areas of reasonably solid soil avoiding the wetter and deeper parts. Still wasn’t quite effective. Her shoes were getting dirtier with each time she was taking a step, and she instantly jumped again every time due to fear of sinking into the bog. She was using her manipulation of her own gravity to make physics-defying bent jumps to land where she thought was at least somewhat safe, her skirt and beige uniform hardly fit for this form of environment. The purple-haired girl was looking down into the waters with worry constantly while in midair, fearing what would happen should she take a single misstep. But reflexes trained in battle prevented her from such errors.
So, she landed on a small island within the marshland. Her shoes only sunk a little bit into the soil. Ayuna took a deep breath as she grabbed and took out her two guns and looked around. The Marshland was large, spreading almost beyond vision in all directions. Strange movements from different kinds of animals were visible from strange grass which was extending itself throughout the area. But… none of those were what Ayuna was here for. This… this place was where it was to occur. Here… somewhere here her opponent awaited, or was soon to arrive. Ayuna held her guns close by her sides as she looked around carefully, and slightly fearfully, seeking whatever enemy that was to target the young girl out here.

Using the power of the shadows, making four large tentacles as legs walking along the marshlands. He didn't want to get dirty before getting into his fight. Sensing the girl since it felt unnatural for a goody two shoed girl in a swamp like this. Looking around until seeing her, he was slightly confused on her tight outfit but didn't really care. The tentacles root themselves in the grown as they go towards his opponent and come back up to form spikes to disarm her weapons. Coming in front of her in a forty degree angle and if failed to disarm then they would wrap around her hands when they touch the pistols. To bind her for another attack.
he smirks as it takes place as he observes the adversary. Already could tell that that's not her true form. From just looking at her and the way she was dressed he assumes she must be much smaller then the form she is currently in." What's a weakling like yourself doing playing in the mud?" He said mocking her since she wasn't a huntress. Since it was a case for him he just thinks of the sterotype where they get up on a chair when they spot a mouse, which was a delight to torture his victim.

’Eeek!?’ Ayuna had missed the approaching appendages and was almost caught off-guard, had it not been for the fact that she had been expecting practically anything. Being prepared for anything to happen, the girl had gravity grab her and swiftly out of the way. Using her own gravitational manipulation, she jumped backwards and launched herself swiftly into what she hoped was out-of-range, or she’d be in trouble. Quickly skipping across the water and breaking while sliding a bit on another patch of soil in the marshland, the girl was swiftly fifty meters away from where she had once been. Her move would seem far faster than a normal human’s dodge, but that was mostly because she had shifted the gravitational pull on herself for a quick get-away.
Her eyes quickly spied the form lifting itself over the watery marsh using four large limbs seemingly made of darkness. He looked almost as young as her, but… far more imposing nonetheless. That black robe and those red eyes… He looked like the definition of evil. … Though young, but Ayuna herself should know very well not to misjudge a young opponent. Herself she had been underestimated often due to her young age, but… this didn’t seem like a case where this would help. Somewhat scared of the dark being that had just attempted to grab her, Ayuna prepared herself for more swift movements to dodge. Should she be caught by those dark appendages… it would most likely be over.
‘… I think… I am here for you.’ She answered his query. Yes. He was undoubtedly the individual she had been sent here for. Already transformed prior to entering the marsh due to potential danger, Ayuna was prepared for battle. ‘A-are, uhm…’ Ayuna hesitated a bit, feeling a bit intimidated at this shape which level of power she could only guess at. Nevertheless, she managed to focus her determination and lift one of her guns, pointing at him. ‘Since I assume you won’t simply surrender… Are you prepared to defend yourself…?’
The possibility that he was far more powerful than her involuntarily occurred to her, making the last note in her question sound less powerful than she had imagined. She didn’t have a clue just how strong he was, but she had to take everything into account. Her attention was spread, hoping to detect any more sneak-attacks from any noise made from the water around her. She could assume she’d be moving about a lot in today’s battle.

He sees that she was able to easily dodge his grab and seems this human was using something to act out her movements. Obviously some sort of drug that was given out by militia or some sort of special ops. He was well known by experience since he lived far longer then any mortal in history. Which gave him the knowledge of history and other parts of armed and magic based combat. Still, the only things that cold ver harm him was some sort of angel or a priest. Humans always try to make the ultimate weapon but failed at it. Never in their possibilities by experimenting with gene crossing. All of what he was thinking slightly gave him a headache so he ends up putting his right palm on his forehead.
After calming his mind he then takes note to her speech and the way she addresses demands or trying to act threatening. But the shy manor and hesitate voice gave that off. He ends out smiling as he already figures how he could use this to his advantage. The appendages that were suppose to grab her returned back to him and he steps into the mud to get red of his shadowy tentacles. He then raises both of his hands up and gives off a gentle smile, looking at her with his demon like eyes. "Why would that be the case?" Replying back to her comment about given in to the battle. "I can't beat you. You are far to strong for me and have a lot more wits, and defiantly cunning." He said complimenting her on her early evasion to his attack. "So....I might as well throw in the towel before I'm seriously injured. But is it ok if I have my lovely abductor's name?" Saying as he tries to charm her as he sense from her speech patterns that she could be those types to get easily flustered. He did looked like her age, but he passed her age by centuries so to him she was nothing more then a child.
He didn't really came up with a plan but he was "winging it" like the old westerns would call it as they made their plans on the spot of their actions. As of the moment his plan was just to convince that he was no threat in order to bring her guard down to continue on the see if he could end up pulling wool over her eyes and set her up for a trap. So he had some tricks up his sleeve. Even though he says he surrenders but in reality he wasn't just roll over and play dead that easily.

Ayuna blinked in surprise. He suddenly... gave in? “I can’t beat you”? Had Ayuna failed to dodge those arms trying to disarm and catch her she would likely have been out for the count. And he had called her a weakling moments before. The possibility that she was being tricked occurred to her immediately, but she had no way of confirming this. She could just fire, but… what if he wasn’t tricking her? The agent kept her attention to her surroundings, listening after improper noises that would announce another sneak-attack since she knew he was capable of them. And… something was off with those compliments. She hadn’t fired once, and he complimented her power. She hadn’t done anything but dodge, and he complimented her wits and cunning. Ayuna was fairly certain those were two aspects of her that had never been complimented. While it was true she was the only one here with a gun… on the level of battle she was used to, that was hardly enough to guarantee victory. Though, him calling her lovely did affect her… a bit…
‘Fu-Furimio Ayuna. Th-that is, um, Ayuna’s my first name and Furimio is my last…’ The girl felt the desire to crawl into a shell and hide somewhere, but she simply couldn’t. Ayuna focused on looking at the young-looking man and listening and sensing after sneak-attacks while aiming one gun at him. O-OK. Standard procedure when enemy surrenders, uh, there isn’t one… All her enemies are supposed to resist. The slightly confused agent girl kept her eyes on the robed individual.
‘Uhm… Put your hands on the back of your head, and don’t use your shadow-arm-things for anything. Then, uh, please state your name, origin, powers and purpose…’ Not moving an inch towards him, Ayuna stayed on her decided safety-range. She was still quite intimidated, and the fact he just “surrendered” actually made him more frightening. If he would give answers to those four things, Ayuna could attempt to understand him and from that deduce if he was surrendering or not. And if he wasn’t answering, then she could conclude he was hiding something from her. … Please don’t be a good liar, Ayuna wishfully asked within her mind.

He smiled and complied to her demands. Slowly putting his hands behind his head and tried not to be make sudden movements to act out the roll of the helpless victim. When he heard her name he recognizes it from his past travels. But wasn't sure since in history a lot had that last name in ancient eastern times. "Yes, I'm well known of the honorifics for your ethnicity."
Hearing her requests as he had to buy her trust. Besides, telling her what he is won't make any difference so he might as well. Which in his case was excellent since he didn't have to lie about it since she wasn't much of a threat. "Yes ma'am" replying to her comment of not using his shadows. "And as for my name....I go by many names through history but I go by Alex mostly. For my origin, I was first created in Greece I the deepest abyss of the earth where many of my kind live and strive. I just happen to be the most "special" out of all who can posses the title of a demon." Letting her know as he tells her that he was a demon and giving her clues and hints he was born in hell. "Ever since I was first brought to this world all I have was taught was that was to destroy and to not give second thoughts on anything. I was nothing more then a vessel. Was told to never think, not to have consensus, flesh and blood was my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So I was bass icky was created to just shut up and follow orders. I had no freedom to choose my fate in life, nor to do as I please or to be want I dream to be. I can't have dreams just nightmares, both giving and receiving...." He said chuckling a bit from the little joke he made even though it was nothing to even make a smirk about. "But a summary of my life is just I did have a consensus and I turned on my master and took his soul for my own. Not excepted by both sides and if I went to either all would be the same hell just different ways of torture. So I roam this world and others just like this, with no bliss of sweet death or to even rest in peace as most humans would call it." He said loading his smile as it went plain.
He quickly moved on to the next subject as he looked at his adversary with a somewhat aggravated tone from just remembering what he went through. "As for my powers is what you saw earlier, I can control the shadows and bend and shift them into any form I want. Controlling and make flames for both defense and offense. The strength and power that surpasses what Hercules could ever achieve. Faster then anything mankind could ever make. Smarter then all the great minds combined on this world. I can control demons a bit. I can transform into bats and make illusions. And to transform into something far more frightening then the end of days. Not to mention I'm immortal..." He said as he calmed down a bit as he looks down to his feet.
"As for my purpose. I was born to bring the end for everything so there can be a new world can be born. Originally my job was to "refresh" the world and to kill how harms it and the same with others." He said as he didn't sound phased by it. Since he heard it many times to where he doesn't think anything about it." Basically when your beloved god is done playing with your pitiful lives I would be called to "clean up his mess" if you can understand something like that." He sighs as he cracks his neck a bit. "But I don't follow anyone's rules and go by my own. I make the choice rather I help or destroy. I want my own fate to call my own. I want to be blessed to make my own choices like you humans....but even when saying that......no one is really free to decide." He said as he walks closer to her. "So anything else I can do for you...Furimio-chan?" He said and addressing her in what he considers her a child since he is older then her.

If he was captured, why was he smiling so much? It scared her. Why was he smiling like that? He was the one claiming to be captured, why was Ayuna feeling like the one feeling scared out of her wits? Then… he started talking. It didn’t… calm her down at all. “Alex” didn’t comfort her at all. If he was lying, Ayuna could not see the purpose behind it. Demon? Bent on destruction…? Took the soul of his master… His powers are… User of shadows and flames, stronger than Hercules, faster than anything, smarter than anyone, controller of demons, transformations and illusions… and immortal!? On top of that, he was born to end everything!? And now… he was walking closer to her…
‘St-stay back.’ She said, jumping somewhat backwards to regain the distance. There was absolutely no way this individual was considering her stronger than himself. Absolutely no way. Impossible. The way he said her name, as if to make himself seem kinder, crept through her and felt like it froze every fiber of her body. ‘Turn around. Walk eastward, I will follow. Walk at least a hundred meters ahead of me. D-don’t try anything…’ Her voice quivered while she was trying to command him. It felt so pointless. Like a human commanding a god. She knew she wasn’t exactly a normal human either, but… Wait. He could do illusions. He said he could do illusions. What she saw right now could be an illusion. He could be somewhere completely different!
Terrified as she was, Ayuna pulled the trigger. Fear could not daunt her aim. A burst of energy, strong enough to burst through and mortally wound a normal human, was fired from the gun. With high speed it flew towards the man. If it made any difference, the shot was actually built with a kind of magic and not pure technology as could possibly be imagined. Same with Ayuna’s gravity-shifting, those were unnatural powers. It flew directly towards Alex torso, whether he had turned around or not, at a speed a normal human could probably not dodge it. But Ayuna kept her terrified senses focused, because after all… He was… not…

He smirks to see the fear in her eyes. It just made him chuckle since it wasn't the first time he seen that expression. Just wondering what was going in in her mind. Then seeing her jumping back and telling him to stay back. He then replied but the the shading from what light hat was visible covered over his eyes to make a skull for he top half of his face and just a lunatic smile. And the only thing that see could see as clear as rain...was his blood red eyes that glows through the darkness that gave the appreance that he was staring straight down into her very soul. "....What are you afraid of?" he said as his voice echoed threw the swampy plains.
He continues to walk towards her even when she commanded him to do otherwise. Seeing her aiming her gun at his torso. Everything in his eyes slowed down. Time was still going but for him he sees her pull the trigger and sees the blast from her little toy. He jumps out of th way but just by enough that it just barely misses him. He then yawns looking at her smirking. "I've seen better marksmanship from an infant." He said as he put his hands down as he starts a slow jog towards her. The mucky water was splashing from each step as he goes for her. Trying to scare her into submission.

Nevermind.
As she had suspected, he dodged it. Every living piece of consciousness knew there was no way he’d be destroyed by that. A silent warning within her terrified mind told her it was possible that he had merely guided an illusion to dodge her shot and the real him… was somewhere else. Or was he tricking her? Had he lied about his powers to scare her? … In that case it worked… B-but… she didn’t think he had lied. Then he… … … …! His stare made more than a shiver go through Ayuna. It was as if a touch of hell itself had momentarily graced her soul. She almost stumbled backwards, eyes wide with fear. What… what she was afraid of…
… Better marksmanship from an infant? But… it would have hit you dead-center if you hadn’t dodged… Not finding the courage to make such a comeback, Ayuna drew up both her guns and took another leap backwards as Alex jogged towards her. If it was just a jog, she could keep her distance indefinitely. One thing for sure, this was as if death itself was making his way towards her, and Ayuna had no intention of letting him. The frightened girl opened while still in mid-leap, pulling both triggers again and again sending a barrage of those same energy-shots in his direction. Merely a small jump wouldn’t help anymore, every next shot would be calibrated to the next movement the demon attempted, and Ayuna would attempt blasting him down before he had started become too serious.
Ayuna sensed she might be out of her league. Facing… whatever that man was. He was not even close to fighting serious yet. Ayuna herself wasn’t going all out either… but she’d very much like to see with her own eyes his capabilities before she did anything more dangerous. So for now, she just shot at him from a distance. Despite her fear piercing through her body in the face of this… being… her aim was steady. How would her opponent, with all his powers, react…?

Seeing the barrage of energy bullets coming at him, he was just laughed since he can easily dodge them." This is child's play." He leans in forward as the shadows wrap around his legs as he makes a step to dodge her wave of fire. But something went wrong. When he did he ended up kicking up large amount of mud and water shooting out behind him making a small hole which the mucky water filled in. He ends up falling on his face and quickly turned and forms on his right arm what looked like an old spartan shield but large enough to cover his body. "Damn it!" He cursed since he made the mistake.
He then crawls over the the small crater in the ground for taking cover. The shield closed the hole so he has his little space inside. Then a head forms over the black spot and shoots out. Letting out a furocious roar as it was the great hydra that was mention in old text books. Looking at the the girl blasting away at where he was at if she did continue. It would let out another roar and start to growl at her to see if she would even dare face the monster.
While in the little hole he was just thinking and planing for his next attack. He was taking mental notes about his enemy. The first obvious was she is still iffy that he has the power or not. He laughs inside which then transferred to the hydra as he works it like a puppet." Do you still question my power?" He said as it went threw the mouth of the hydra.
