The Dauntless floated majestically above the city... by about two metres. She was in for repairs after a particularly hairy battle with a battalion of bandits. The crew managed to fight them off (mostly due to their captain's strategic genius and fighting mastery, of course) and were currently on leave, most likely drinking or whoring. Amelia however was in the Smithy, watching the engineers with distrust and contempt. She didn't like letting anyone else work on her baby and she'd be damned if she let them do it without her.
However, the smiths had given up for the day and had all left, bar the unfortunate sod who had to clean up the oil spills. Content that her ship was no longer imperilled by the incompetence of those feeble-minded fools, Amelia took her leave. With her crimson hair pulled into a ponytail behind her, a top hat perched on her head, and a pair of goggles resting upon its rim, she left the repair shop.
As she looked around, she saw a reassuring site: a workshop, selling clockwork toys. Hopefully, Amelia mused, the shop would have some quality items. She may even find something she needs, only time would tell. As these thoughts traversed through her mind, Amelia entered the cosy shop and the sounds of a thousand cogs clicking together in perfect harmony filled her ears.
