Question: would all the characters be "mute"?
For years, a thick book has been mysteriously drawing a world within itself. The people in the world couldn't speak, so they communicated through writing and actions. Every few years, it would follow a single person or a group of people; this usually happened when a trouble arose in the world. The silent person or persons would eventually stop whatever evil had risen and the peace would return. At one time, however, there was an evil that became known as "The Thief". It was a shadowy entity, that stole people willpower; the soldiers became weak sacks, utterly incapable of fending off The Thief. Every time the book singled out a hero/heroine, The Thief knew and took their will. Quickly, the world was absorbed....
.... A lost man stumbled through a dense forest, hoping to find his way out. By chance, he found a rickety and deserted cabin. Glad to have found some form of shelter, he entered the shack and found a wooden chair with a small table and pencil next to a thick book. Curious, he began to flip through the old pages of the world that was becoming corrupted by an evil. As he finished the book, he stared at the pencil thoughtfully. Slowly, he picked it up and drew a person in the book. "Perhaps that'll stop it," he chuckled softly to himself. "Perhaps it'll find some friends, like other heroes had...."
And thus, the person with an unbreakable will became existent. That person would face The Thief and eventually win; but it wouldn't without a little help from some friends.

I was thinking that this RP would take place in a Fantasy world; swords, bows, and magic would be there.
This would be light-Casual, so a paragraph or two would definitely be recommended, but not necessary.
"Our lives are full of consequence. I just want to share the consequences of my life with everyone. It doesn't really matter to me where those consequences end up, just so long as I'm not the only one experiencing them. You know what I mean? It's like how musicians, dancers, and story tellers enjoy sharing music, or dance, or stories. I just share something a little more finite...
...something a little more final."
Yep. There would still be sounds, though. Instead of words, you need to use descriptions to show what you're doing, or what you're going to do. You could also use thoughts.

Seems interesting. How do I sign up?
I'll set up the OOC when one or two more people come.

Sounds interesting!
Where is love?
“… I suppose that we can see it in their eyes because their truth and soul lives there. We can see it in their smile and all its genuineness and substance. It is in the way they hold you tightly like they are afraid you will get blown away in a great wind. It is hearing the beating of their heart and realizing that you are there, in that place that keeps them alive.”-The World of Ishota, Ch. 3

Should I wait for a person, or set the OoC up?
