Mecha Arena (IC)

The Mech's arm went up and pointed away from 1414's torso. Colette's attack had failed. She had made contact with 1414's mass, but it's energy shields were just enough to prevent this blow. 1414 had 9999's arm in it's grip keeping 9999's sword at a safe distance away from it. Colette was like her battle between her and the other pilot.

Colette had started thinking about the other pilot Thomas in the other Mecha. What was he doing in his cockpit, What did his Mecha's cockpit look like on the inside? She continued thinking about pointless things till she realized what she was doing, getting distracted.

Her hand was hovering over a button that would release one of her massive sized missiles in her two shoulder compartments. She wouldn't be able to use it at this range, it would be suicidal. She needed to do something with low amount of options she had. She did something that made 9999's left arm head towards 1414's head or thing that was probably meant for sight. It was a punch. Primitive, but something.

A red warning light suddenly flashed in the cockpit as Thomas heard the collision. She had hit him with her damned fist. Shit. He flipped a pair of switches on his panel as the diagnostics system rebooted.

"Warning: Sensor cables 1a-5g disconnected. Sensor Camera 1 Disabled. Scanning cables 4a-6b and 8a-8b disconnected. Scanning systems damaged." Blared into Thomas headset as it examined each of the damages. The Diagnostics system automatically disabled both sections of the head cameras, leaving him in the dark as to his opponents diagnostics. Now he was blind and could only use his vision cameras for detection- He would be blind as a bat if any smoke decided to show up. Wrapping his hand back around the arm controller movement section, quickly pulling his arm away from the sword as the entire mech swooped down.

"ALERT: Rocket Systems Online and loaded." Blared the second alert into the males helmet. He nodded and pulled his right arm up, point blank with his opponents mecha, as he used his feet to kick his rocket boosters into over drive. The energy of his mecha went down heavily, and the entire systems shields were offline for the moment as he rocketed backwards. Pulling the trigger, a launch of 20 or so rockets suddenly shot from the mechas arm, directly towards the other mechas chest, as smoke clouded the vision of Thomas, leaving him in the dark as to whether his systems managed to hit the opponents mecha.

After the hit had landed Colette felt good about her hit, *A pleasure almost. She was was surprised that the attack was not blocked and that it affected 1414. 9999's arm that had struck 1414, sent out it's status to a screen on one side of Colette. What the screen showed was that the arm was starting to break down.*

"shet," colette said aloud in the privacy of her cockpit. She started feeling anxiety fill her up. She was unaware of the missiles that were preparing to be launched. She reached across her body to turn on the thrusters that would send her flying in the air above 1414. But as it would seem her mech might be destroyed by 1414's missiles.*
