Axel gave Chris a big hug. "You're the greatest dude! I swear to god, I'll pay you back!" He quickly took Chris' card and ran inside. Even though Chris told him he could use the full four hundred from him, he didn't feel right about it. So he used two hundred from each account like he promised he would. When he came out of the store, he was already taking the COMP out of the box and began to strap it to his wrist as he looked so friggen happy trying to figure it out. Just like the advertisement, it was pure white as it seemed the only color he could honestly see looking good on him. Axel and Chris continued to wander around the shopping center for a while longer, though Axel didn't really buy anything more other then snack food. Most of the time he still kept fiddling with his new toy as he messed with it to personally customize it. Like changing the settings of the whole thing so it was in English for him.
"Man this thing is awesome! I bet this baby wouldn't come out in the states for a couple years." He continued to play with it even until they finally got back to the apartment and offloaded their luggage. As soon as the last suitcase came inside, Axel heard a musical tone playing out of the small speaker on the comp, indicating that he received a new email. "Huh... didn't think I'd get one so soon. Maybe someone from back home is wondering how we are."
After fiddling with the COMP for a while, you suddenly notice you've received a new email. When you look at it, it looks strange. It's not an ad or virus email, but it clearly was sent to a ton of people, mostly at random. In fact, even the subject line "Everyone Must Read This!" seemed suspect. The sender is just named "Steven", no other real explanation. However, you shrug it off as you remember that the COMP already has a top of the line virus protection on it. So you decided to open it.
"Humanity is currently in grave danger! Demons of legend from ages past have awakened from their long slumber, Soon, they will overrun the Earth! In order to compete with the demons and fight for our survival, we will need to utilize their power. Use this program correctly, and you should be able to! I pray that those with the courage to use it will accept it... To fight the demons that would destroy us, and to preserve humanity..."
When you finish reading the Doomsday-sounding email, you only just now notice that the mail was downloading something onto the COMP in the background! Worried, you think it's best to stop it. But nothing works!
Downloading............ 25%...... 50%....... 75 %......
You received the Demon Summoning Program.
Axel had both a confused and worried look on his face. he had no idea what this new program is or what it does. He tried to figure out how to get rid of it, but there was no option to uninstall and the program didn't even appear on the list of removable programs! He gave a heavy sigh, just knowing he'll have to take it in to have it looked at by a techie to remove it for him. That would probably cost more money in the long run. In the meantime, he decided not to worry as it didn't seem to be hurting his computer any. In the meantime, he went right back to unpacking his luggage as he spoke up to Chris. "SO when exactly do we start school? I'm counting on you to help me around here dude, I only know how to speak the language, not actually live by it."
