Pokemon Pandemic

Saria hugged back Moonlight tightly, her head resting against the anthromorphic being's chest as she cringed heavily. The brunette didn't like to seem so weak and scared of what she did. The mere thought of blood on her hands made her shiver, even the blood of pitiful bigots. Truth be told, she was a kind and tender girl before all of this. Loving and timid as the younger girl she was, carefree and ignorant of any issues around her. But, as with life, there are obstacles that she was faced with. Only know, said obstacles are walls upon walls of serious issues and generally instability of the entire region.

"I'm fine, really...j-just give me s-some time."

With that, the woman broke away, walking beside Pokemorph as she faintly waved to the human trainer of this female Absol.

The Absol had paused when her trainer talked, inches away from her face as her red eyes gleamed onto the humans. A strong bond, both physical and emotional brought the two females together. The more she talked, the more the Pokemorph found herself reflecting on the trials and ventures the two endured. Countless amounts of trainers and punks that challenged them, how they fell and succeeded together. Sure, other Pokemon joined in and became friends with Anna and even Serenity, but it was always those two that were in the thick of it all.

Smiling, the Absol sniffled as she smiled brightly. "We really did save each other, I wouldn't of had have my life any other way." she said tenderly, giving the petite female the biggest hug she could managed as she giggled a little. Noticing a Umbreon and a trainer approach them, Serenity instantly stood up and analyzed the two. Instincts came first to protect, but soon it seemed the two were friendly to them. Remembering spotting them when they arrived, the Absol adjusted her red sweatshirt as her frown turn to the faintest of smiles.

"Hello, troubles with bigots I assume?" she asked in her more native tongue to the fellow Pokemorph, noting how distressed the two seemed when they entered,

Moonlight nodded and looked over his trainer as she talked to the human while he continued talking to the Absol. "Yeah. One of them got me good with a knife. I should be fine though." he said and rubbed the wound area and winced. "Nothing I haven't taken before..." He sighed then looked the absol over. "Oh, you have clothing? Doesn't it itch?" He asked. "I can't stand it myself."

Anna smiled. "My name's Anna." she said. "Have we met before?" she asked. "I think I remember a trainer like you. Then agian, after a while, battles kinda blurred together."

Saria toke this time to sit down beside the fairly petite trainer, noticing the shortness in the other female with minor worry. At first, she thought she was young girl, but it was clear she was well matured. Smiling, the brunette tried to push her mind away from the accident early as she looked at the fellow human. "I...think, it's been awhile when things were normal. Plus, I was a bit different back then." the trainer explained, remembering her more timid and reserved nature.

Serenity raised a eyebrow, looking at and blinking with the faintest of worries. "Don't get cocky, humans are quite deadly and clever." she remarked in her native tongue, obviously not fond of the bipedal race at all for the most part. Obviously there was a few exceptions, such as her dearest Anna, but it was clear the Absol held a general negative viewpoint of the race as a whole.

Looking down at her sweatshirt and blue pants, the female chuckled a little as she smirked. "You get used to it, I find it kind of comfortable myself. It's kind of appealing in a way as well." she remarked, smiling slyly as she twirled around a bit. A small hint of her feminine nature, one that was rare for a Absol of all things to express.

"Say, have you gotten used to their...tongue yet?" she asked, still speaking in the native language of the Pokemorphs as she was still fairly unfamilar with English.

"Believe me, I know. I've seen a lot of things in my time. I'll get some treatment later. It's not that bad right now." Moonlight winced a little. and rubbed his wound. "And that's good. I hope I can. Saria seems to get upset when I'm not dressed to go out. I'm wearing this for her really." He shrugged. "And yes. I do speak in their tongue. I just prefer to speak like this when with another pokemorph." He smiled. "Especially when I meet one with such beauty like yourself." He looked over Serenity, his compliment genuine.

Anna nodded. "Yeah... It's only been... what? Three weeks since that day?" She looked to Serenity and remembered her reactions, blushing in arousal as well as a little bit of fear. There she was sleeping in her bed and she woke up with a huge body of muscle and white fur on top of her. She had a hell of a time teaching serenity how to speak, and she had kept wondering if she'd turn back to her usual self... When she didn't though, she wasn't exactly sad. She loved her absol and for so long, she always wanted to speak to her absol. She remembered something she had ask as well.

Saria smirked, leaning back as she looked at the blushing younger female and rolled her eyes. Trainers always seemed to be falling for their Pokemorphs, that seemed to be a running trend the brunette was running into. Personally, she didn't really *look* at Moonlight like that. Nice abs and form, yeah, but the human wasn't ready for a relationship in this chaotic world. Not yet...soon, but whenever that was the human honestly did not know.

"Give or take, time flies by when ya avoiding all those bigots. Say, when did you two get to this town? Me and Moonie got here about a week ago, not sure if we'll stay..." she paused, looking at Moonlight as this place seemed real nice. But, something felt *off* about it, it seemed too peaceful and suspicious.

Probably just her paranoia.

Serenity smiled slyly at her blushing trainer, focusing back at her fellow Pokemorph and rolled her eyes. "Nice try, sparky." she giggled faintly as she continued to speak in her native tongue. "I suppose it's better than getting yelled around from running around nude, I rather be uncomfortable than be dead." she explained, the mental image of a band of bigots beating a nude Pokemorph to death gravely disturbing. Pushing that odd thought out of her mind, the Absol crossed her arms over her chest as she continued.

"Hey," she paused, taking a few steps closer to Moonlight as she looked him straight in the eye. "Do you know anything about people...turning into us? I've swore I've heard rumors about that, I don't really even know why I'm like...this still." the female asked the male, wanting to see if he knew more about the virus or whatever had transformed her into this bipedal form.

"Fair point," Moonlight said and shrugged. "Well, I just hope I'll get used to it. How'd you get used to it?" He shrugged with her next question. "I can't say for sure. I think that I've seen that before." he looked at one of the officers and nodded. "Yeah. "there's one there. See? her ears look like those of a growlithe. And she has some fur and the scent of one too." He added. "What do you think causes that?" he asked.

Anna nodded. "Yeah... It's still pretty amazing though. As for me, I was just passing through really. I wanted to stop by and see if some of these cities were taking it better then others. So far, I don't think so.... It's tragic, really. I wish everyone would just get along with eachother." She sighed. "Given time, I'd think that this would be really good. Kinda like getting back to the roots." She paused. "There's a story, old one. That humans and pokemon used to be one in the same. They could marry, have kids. They were equals, you know what I mean?" Anna asked.

Saria thought deeply about what Anna was trying to point out, sighing heavily as she leaned back with a worried glance. "I just hope that it recovers much faster..." she murmured, hearing about the old tale of what Pokemon used to be. It was dismissed as nothing more than mythology, nothing better than the legends and fables that have shrouded humanity for countless generations. But, in such different times, the brunette honestly wondered if Anna was right.

"You know, you might be right...I wonder if this was a restart, if you will. Going back to the beginning and starting from scratch." Saria stated aloud, whoever responsible of this wanting to revert back to the days of myth and lore it seemed.

Serenity sneered a little, looking at male and smirking a little. "Anna wanted me to get used to it, so I just did it for Anna. I don't know about you, but my trainer is very dear to me." she said clearly in her native tongue, glancing back at the petite young woman and smiled. Focusing back and noticing the transforming human, the Pokemorph stared at the officer in confusion before glancing at Moonlight.

"Is it contagious? Surely then my Anna would have transformed...hmm...perhaps it's from blood contact?" she pondered aloud towards Moonlight, truly bewildered at this strange limbo between a Human and a Pokemorph.

Moonlight shrugged. "I would guess so. I mean how else would she have growlithe features?" He shrugged and yawned. "If there's anyone that might know, it would be the nurses." He shrugged. "Anyways, we'll have to see. Why? Do you want to have your trainer become like us? Or worried about it?" In truth, he would like to see how Saria would look like as an umbreon pokemorph. He smiled a little at the thought.

"It would be nice." Anna said, biting the inside of her lip. "Well, for some people... I mean I'dlike it." She whispered, blushing as she admitted that she would like to be closer to her pokemon. She held her tonge before she said anything she might regret later. She knew just how bad the racist would be and she didn't know enough about Saria to know for sure how she felt on her own preferences. Hell, she hadn't even told Serenity yet.
