The walking dead

"Thank God for rednecks."

An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months, society has crumbled: There is no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. The produce in most grocery stores has began to rot. There are small pockets of survivors stashed all over the city. Not all of them will look before they shoot. There has been surprisingly minimal looting as going out has become increasingly dangerous. There is no law. Going Downtown should...and is considered a suicide mission.

The story will follow teens that were in highschool together and how they cope with the epedimic. It will be set place a few months after the epedimic and they are running out of supplies in the school which they have been held up in.

Known Mutations of the TS-19 virus:

Walkers: Dumb... hungry...but dangerous in big groups.
Geeks: Slightly higher brain function than walkers.
Breakers: They can sprint but after awhile their body runs down

Personality: Percy is an eccentric young boy, full of ambition and self assurance. This bubbly theater activist is never found without a smile on his face, without a genuine compliment to aim at a passerby. Most of the students find him.. curious. Nobody can be that excited to return to school. Could they? Percy is what you’d call a lovable dork, full of effortless charm and wit. He’s ever-so-modest about his acting abilities, about his lulling and mesmerizing voice. He doesn’t believe in boasting or putting others down, no matter how talented he is. Percy is just an all around pleasant face, someone who’s helplessly sweet at heart. Some people aren’t sure what to think of him, but he pays the naysayers no mind. They don’t matter anyways, do they?

He's really nice once you get to know him, and very helpful and generous...well, when he's nearby anyone...

Group: Gymnastic and Track team.

Personality: James is incredibly quiet, throwing himself into his sports. He doesn't like talking to people much, and tends to keep an emotionless/stony mask on around other. When he does talk, it's usually calm, strict words, either issuing an order or agreeing. He's easily flustered by flirty girls, but tends to stay a fair distance from everyone. He stays far back and observes. He's a loner by heart, and is usually the one who takes on loot missions.

Equipment: He keeps his backpack, a small, strap around pack that's mostly seen on looters these days. He keeps dozens small, sharp pieces of shrapnel that he took from destroyed parts of the building. For his main weapon, it was a very small knife, with razor sharp edges and a spiky point. He found it in the cafeteria, hidden in the many cabinets there. He also constantly carries one pack of rations.

Bio: Much is not known about him. Most people only knows that his father and mother died when he was 4, and he lies with his auntie.

Relationship/ Crush: He had a crush on Kaitlin Parkes in the past, but after the zombies came, he forgone any emotional feelings. He locked them up tightly inside of his soul, only unleashing them when needed.
