Flicker quickly got out of the way of the Deino PokePerson. It was obvious he couldn't see her. Flicker quickly brushed it off as the voice goes through her head. Yeah, it freaked her out a little, but she'd seen and heard worse. Her father was a Cofagrigus, after all. He was pretty terrifying. But, and this was completely out of reflex, Flicker held out her hand, a ball of fire forming. "Where are ya?!" Flicker says hurriedly. If this was the urgent matter, Flicker was going to burn it to cinders and collect. But then again, this was awfully quick. Eh, who knows? Maybe she would get to catch something on fire soon. Or cause immense psychological trauma with Hex. That could be fun.

Oh get a hold of yourself, Flick. You aren't some murderous torture queen. Flicker tells herself in her mind, ready to throw down. It was awfully hard to get away from her in a fight, after all.

Sandy and Vail had just downed another few poffins and other assorted food when the explosions started, they paid it no mind though, more or less focusing on the food in front of them. After all, they doubted they'd get another meal like this so easily. When the violet light showed up is when Vail started to get curious. Thankfully, Flicker asked his question for him and received a quick reply from Shaymin. He went back to the eating, especially when the cake arrived. Him and Sandy hardly ever got to eat such a thing, and he was not about to waste it.

Unfortunately it seemed as though fate had other things planned for the two as an ominous voice echoed through the hallway, sending shivers up both of their spines and causing them to suddenly both stop eating and cautiously look around. The two were no strangers to conflicted, in fact they occasionally enjoyed a good fight, and they both could tell something was not right here. As the shrill scream was heard throughout the building, it didn't help their mood any.

"Yeah! What those two guys said! Show yourself so I can give ya a beat down!" She growled, bearing her sharp teeth while Vail quietly observed the scene. Unlike Sandy, he tended to stay much more calm and collected during events such as this.

Shae stood up from the table, "Please remain calm, everyone, the matter will be resolve momenta-" though the Shaymin was unable to complete her sentence, because she disappeared in a puff of black-grey smoke. There was obviously something amiss. Then, there was a dim, green light, as if from a candle towards the back of the room, but it seemed distant, like it was miles away...

Then, one by one, the food started disappearing from the table, and then, the table itself disappeared, leaving only the PokéPeople left sitting in their chairs, but no matter how hard they struggled, they could not escape the chair. Then, the floor itself completely vanished, along with the walls and roof. Around them was an empty void...

Then, the same deep, menacing voice could be heard booming throughout the building, "Welcome to my realm!" That was when the chairs fell.

The PokéPeople were still unable to leave the chairs, but they continued to plummet down into the void at a rapid pace, falling faster the longer they went. Then, the chairs landed roughly on an old, wooden, floor, and upon impact the chairs smashed, but the PokéPeople were completely unharmed. Suddenly, a bright, white light flashed so brightly that even Lios could see it...

Then, Lios could see everything; although the only thing to see was the rotten wood floors beneath them and the empty void around them.

"I hope you enjoy your stay..." the deep voice said, followed by a maniacal chuckle. Then, a scene played in front of the PokéPeople...

It was the group of them, along with Shaymin and Mew, they were surrounded, tired, and hopelessly surrounded by PokéPeople of all types, and they all had a twisted, murderous look about them. Then, a Zoroark emerged from the group, he laughed before speaking, but when he spoke, it sounded distant, and there were echoes of his voice in different tones, dialects, and voices, "You.. are... finished." Then, the Zoroark charged at Shae, gripping her throat tightly, holding her above the ground, he strangled her to death...

"That. Is. Enough!" Shae screamed as a blast of cold wind and leaves shot through the building. The PokéPeople were suddenly returned to their seats, everything looked exactly how it had before: the windows were fixed and the purple light was gone, all of the food, chairs, and the table was replaced. Although, there was a new person - a man - lying crumpled on the ground across from them. In front of the man was Shae, and she did not look happy, "What were you thinking, Darkrai? Please. Enlighten me on what made you think that you could do this to these innocent people!"

Darkrai merely laughed, he was enjoying this more than he should. Shae screamed, "You know what? Fine! Don't tell me! Just... leave! Now!"

Darkrai continued laughing as he stood up, "Calm down, kid. I was merely showing them what would happen if they continued living like they did." He held up his hands defensively, but still had a devilish smirk on his face.

Shae was not pleased, and it showed on her face, "Get. Out."

"I will deal with you and your shenanigans later. Leave before I become unhappy." was the thought that was transported into Darkrai's head, but he rolled his eyes.

"Okay, Cresselia, I won't help you anymore from now on." was sent to Shae while Darkrai stalked out of the building, still laughing. He shut the door and Shae returned to the dining table.

"Now, who wants cake?" she asked, smiling.

Sigil blinked when Shae disappeared and then more and more things around the room started to vanish as well. He still kept a close eye on Lios as the boy moved over next to him to take a seat on the chair. Though, as the rest of the room vanished, Sigil gasped as the chairs fell and he heard Lios screaming his lungs out beside him. The Deino was gripping his arm in a vice-like hold as they fell, but Sigil tried to see if he could steady their fall. His feathered ornaments lit up, as usual when he normally flew, but it seem like it did not work. He still felt himself and Lios fall. He was startled and holding onto Lios protectively, he tried to calm the boy down.

“Would someone just please tell me what’s goi—ah!” Lios gasped as their chairs hit the ground, shattering, but his large crimson eyes blinked quickly as light and then images filled his vision. The sight before him was startling as the scene played out. Though, Sigil remained silent as he watched everything unfold. Lios whimpered and hugged Sigil’s arm tightly and for the first time, laid eyes on the older boy. He was surprised to finally see his closest friend and he could not tear his gaze from the boy, too interested in engraving the image of his guardian to his memory.

A Zoroark? Sigil gasped in his thoughts, watching the Zoroark choked Shae to death. He curled his fingers again, about to send out an Air Cutter to help her, but froze when everything was returned to normal and he stared at the white-haired man lying on the ground in front of Shae. “What…what do you mean that would happen to us, if we keep living the way we did?” he called out to Darkrai, but the laughing man had already left. So he turned to Shae for answers, not so enthusiastic about the cake.

Lios blinked though, his vision after the scene Darkrai played them went black again. He spun his head left and right quickly trying to see if his vision would return, but it did not. He was blind again. Though, at the question about cake, Lios raised his hand. “Oh, me! I want some cake!” he smiled cheerfully, as if the visions did not bother him. He would have time later to go through it, but now, he just wanted dessert.

"Hey...What gives?" Sandy said with a growl as Shae vanished right before them. One by one the other objects began to follow suit until they were surrounded by a black void of nothing and slammed back into their seats. The Sandile and Gastly fell through the void with the other pokepeople, with sandy unconsciously grabbed Veil's arm in a tight grip.

Suddenly the chairs hit an old wooden floor and shattered. The two PokePeople watched the gruesome scene before them, each wearing a scowl. A Zoroark reached and grabbed Shae with great force. He didn't know why, but he tried to move and do something but his body was unable to move. He was not about to standby while something like this happened! He may not be the saintliest of PokePeople, but this was murder and he was not about to let it happen!

Thankfully the scene didn't last much longer and was replaced with them sitting back in the building with a very angry Shae, and a man laughing almost manically on the floor. As the strange PokePerson left Veil glared at him darkly. It had taken him a second to realize that it was just some sort of sick and twisted dream. He was all good for a scare and a prank, but that was just cruel on a whole new level. He scowled and turned back to the food and picked up a sour poffin and ate it. Sandy said nothing but at the mention of more cake, she licked her lips and grabbed another plateful and began chowing down on the desert and ignored the whole incident completely. There was food, and she was going to eat it.

After a few moments of silence Veil turned to Shae with a cold glare. "What the hell was that?" He asked rather harshly. He didn't care who she was, he wanted a some answers before he went any farther.

Shae took a breath before looking at the group once more, "I understand you all have many questions and I will get to them, I promise, but right now: please ease your mind and enjoy the food. When we are finished I will take you to where you will be sleeping tonight. Tomorrow morning we'll have breakfast, I'll get you your
money, and I will explain everything, I swear."

Shae took a piece of the cake, attempting to eat it half-heartedly, but like the other PokéPeople, she wasn't in the mood for eating cake. She wanted answers as well, but there was only one way to get them. I'll have to contact Cresselia, she's the only one who will know why Darkrai is acting the way he is; but what if she's gone mad, too. This isn't like Darkrai, and I don't want him around them so long as he is the way he is. she thought worriedly.

Flicker was in shock. She had just seen the death of the girl sitting across from her, at the hands of some Zoroark. And that darkness, the falling...it was just so terrifying. That meant something. At the mention of the name "Darkrai", most of it made sense. He was the master of nightmares, after all. Flicker sighed. She didn't want to have to wait for answers, but it seemed to be the only course of action. She just hoped that Darkrai wouldn't come back. It wasn't like she needed that to happen again while she was asleep.

Flicker took a slice of cake, and began taking bites. It was delicious, almost enough to distract her. Another question pricked at Flicker's mind. "You wouldn't happen to have any white wax candles I could burn, would you? It's a weird request, I know, but it's just a little ritual I go through each night." Flicker asked Shae with a hint of hesitation. Everyone probably thought she was weird, but considering she was a Litwick, hopefully it wouldn't seem too bizarre.

Lios eagerly dove head first into his food, leaving a creamy mess on his face as he tore into the cake. Sigil, however, took Shae’s word and ate as well in a more neatly manner than his companion. He did not eat any sweets, just only going for the berries and other assortments that were on the table. Sigil ate in silence and occasionally he looked around the dinner table to the other Pokepeople with his third eye. A Sandile, Gastly, Litwick, Deino, and himself. He would have thought more would have been interested in taking up Arceus and the other trio’s offer, though this size group did not really bother him. He was not used to being around with so many different people, and not only that, all of them, excluding the Shaymin, have a type advantage over him. Dark and Ghost. He reminded himself not to get into any of their bad sides and then relaxed a little in his seat, taking a drink of water before deciding he was finished eating.

The Deino still continued to eat after Shae said to enjoy the food and that was what he did. With his monstrous appetite, it was amazing that he had never gotten too fat from eating a lot. But then again, Sigil always made them exercise a lot during their travels or always served Lios small amounts. So this buffet of food was a special treat for him. When he was finished eating, he let out a belch and stretched, almost feeling the need to fall asleep. Though, he forced himself to stay awake for a little while longer and then turned his head around the room as he sniffed the air. “So, where do all you come from?” he asked sheepishly out loud to the others in the room.

Shadow floated around, bored. Her pink hair was pushed behind her while she was floating. Shadow was immortal, and because of that their was none thing to busy her one-track mind. None thing that she could get into, then worry if she will make it out with her life. She was Mew. Of course she would make it out alive. Shadow sighed as she floated down, sitting on a rock, wagging her tail back and forth slowly. In her early years, she would spend hours chasing her pink tail around, knowing she could grab it if she really felt the need to. It was only something to keep her busy. Now that she matured, she felt a need to do something more. Though, of course, none thing happen that she should fret about. The 'sad' life of Mew, as Shadow would say. Most people would envy her, seeing how age cannot kill her.
