A group of friends was meddling where they shouldn't have been. They hopped a couple of fences with large signs that clearly instructed everyone to keep out. They didn't care; they just wanted a bit of adventure for the summer and the lot looked empty anyways. While they were seeking adventure, they found it. They stumbled upon a hole in the ground that lead them to a large, underground cave that had light provided by a large cube in the middle of the room. Upon further inspection, they activate the machine on accident and it changes their lives forever. The friends develop supernatural powers that grow in strength the more they use them. They are each marked with something similar to when someone gets struck by lightning. It tends to appear more prominent if the others are nearby (the electric waves that now emanate from them react to one another).

School had just let out and it was time for an awesome summer. Everyone was storming out of the front doors, throwing papers everywhere as they went. Charlotte laughed and threw a couple around as well. After they had finished celebrating with the rest of their classmates, the group of friends that Charlie belonged to gathered in the parking lot and started to discuss plans for the summer, as they had done over 100 times already. They had several bigger plans like a roadtrip or trips to the beach, but they wanted and needed something to do for their first day of freedom. Charlie had turned music on in her car and had left the doors and windows open to let the music blast as they talked.
"I don't care what we do today, as long as we get something to eat first."

"I vote Tacos!" Ty said, sticking his hand up as if to vote and chuckling. "And, I don't really care what we do either, just nothing involving Canals please..." He said, a shiver of fear running down his spine as he remembered the time he almost drowned.

Kiara was already gathered with the group and smirked, crossing her arms. This was going to awesome. "I don't really care either. I just wanna have fun. Let loose. You know?" She said, shrugging. School had put a dent in her social life as she tired to hurry and catch up enough just so she could pass. She had managed, just barely. So she was in the mood for some major partying. Her long blonde hair was loose, as usual.

[Whispers]

James sighed and closed his eyes, the loud music annoying him. Leaning back on the trunk of his car, he opened his eyes and stared at the clouds, bring his hands up towards the sky, as if trying to touch the floating marshmallow.

"I vote for the beach. It's very...mellow." he said lowly, fighting back a yawn. Sticking his hands into his pockets, James took out a cigerrete and quickly lit it off the top of his car, a secret his father taught him a while back. It was very useful for when he didn't have his Initial-ingraved lighter, and this was one of those times.

"Think of all the relaxation...the sleeping...the hot, sweaty, bikini-clad girls...heaven."

Kiara looked to James and couldn't help but shake her head and laugh. "Put that out. You're gonna give yourself lung cancer by the age of like 20 or something." She said, pointing the ciggarette before looking back the group. "Beach sounds cool though." She agreed.

[Chazz]

"The beach again? dude, why not just watch some porn instead?" joked Jun as he munched on a french fry.
Looking at James, who was puffing it up again as usual, Jun sighed "Dude, you know those things will kill ya."
He moved away from the smoke, "Not to mention, the air pollution it causes."
Jun looked at the rest of his friends, "We need to do something different..we always do the same old thing."

"Uuuuhhh... So, anyone taking up on the Tacos idea?" Ty asked. He liked Tacos. He really wished he could just invite them rond to his house to play some video games, but really he was a little embarressed... He had actually never told his friends that he loved video games in fear of the fact that they would think he's a nerd.

Charlie nodded and licked her lips. "Tacos sound delicious." She went to her car and turned the music down. "And then, I suggest we go on an adventure. I've always wanted to go into those woods." She gestured towards the large trees that stood at the edge of town. The forest had been rumored to be haunted and most people tended to avoid it. Charlie had hiked in all other areas nearby and was getting tired of the same old scenery. She had brought the idea up to her grandparents who had quickly forbade her from going. So, naturally, she wanted to explore it more than she had before.

Elliot stirred in the backseat of the car, looking down at his phone as he answered texts, his Facebook, and Twitter. He heard the mention of tacos and his stomach immediately started to growl. "Yes. Food before we go anywhere," he said in a low tone. Elliot was always hungry and was always eating something. Even though Elliot didn't show it, he was really excited about this trip they were going on. Where, he didn't know. But it beat staying at home all day doing nothing. He ran his hand through his black hair that was styled up, scratching his ear gauge as well. The car was really packed so he just wanted to hurry up to their destination so he could stretch out his legs.

"The haunted forest of the dead?, really? I dunno if that is such a good idea or not." said Jun as he looked at Charlie.
"Not that I believe in ghosts or anything, but a friend told a friend who told me, that the forest is really a marijuana crop field that is heavily guarded by gangs with AK-47s." said Jun as he finished off the fries.
Stretching his arms out, "Besides, every time we go on your fun adventures, something bad always happens." chuckles Jun.
