I have been thinking about making a crime family/syndicate RP, mainly because of me and my friend's love for gangster films, games, novels, and true stories. It would be based around the Mafia. This doesn't mean you have to dress in black suits or anything, but it does mean you can't walk round with a bandanna on calling people homies :P. It would be an intelligent group of people who have there hands in anything illegal that they can make a profit off. Arms dealing, car stealing/exporting, drugs, protection rackets etc. This is basically what it would entail.

There are female mobsters out there, who are probably better at the job than most, being able to blend in less suspiciously and seduce members of other syndicates. So if your a female and don't want to play a male, that's totally fine.

Personality: Outgoing and relatively friendly. She’s quite sassy and has been spoiled her whole life. She thinks she’s one of the boys and is happy to use her intelligence, her negotiating skills and her body to get what she wants, or to help out the family in anyway.

History: El grew up without her brother Joe or most of the boy's influence seeing that she was a bit younger than them, her mother and father having a bit of an accident (her) later in life. After she learned the family business from her father, she contacted Joe and make her way to the America's, a dream in her heart and song her lips... her first stop - New York. She spend several years performing before finally retiring to help her brother out. Most of their siblings had died in one way or other and Joe needed her help, someone he could trust. She'd assisted her own father in his syndicate back in Italy and was more than qualified. She hung up her dancing shoes and made her way to Chicago several years back.

Cary Wittington - 24

Cary is very sweet, accommodating and quite shy around most people. Her lifestyle wasn't one she chose, but one that chose her. Her parents abandoned her as a small child and left her in a dumpster, an orphanage taking her in and raising her amongst a large group of rambunctious boys and girls. She hid in the cellar most days, hoping that life would be over or change miraculously, but it never did. When she was old enough, the church sent her on her way, forever scarred by her childhood and she did the only thing she knew to do - turned to the next person that would feed her, and then the next. Before long she could herself in a whorehouse, her body the only currency she had to make it in this cold horrid world.

Well, of those three I'm leaning towards handling the booze. It's not as glamorous as girls and cards and probably runs greater risks. Though a rival family also sounds cool... but I dunno I could do that alone. Or, anyway, it may not be as fun. I'd probably just end up playing with myself most of the time.

How about playing a Capo in one of those rings and when we get ready to create a rival family, I will join you in doing so, and my guess is that one/two of these guys will too. ?
