The Spirits of Fantasy- Real RP!

Well hello adventures. I have just sucked you in the world of Fantasia de Noire. It is a world filled with mystery, magic, and what not. This place is inhabited by beings of lore. I think you all have chosen your identification and profession. Now, set out on the world in front of you. Wait, what are those orbs around your heads? Oh, I see... well that could explain why all of you were not ripped to shreds by the portal. Oh, sorry adventurers, you were not supposed to hear that, but I guess it's too late then, huh? It seems that you were all chosen by a specific Spirit of Fantasy, spirits that created this world and the people around you. They are not to be confused by gods, they don't like it. They have limitations and need champions. It seems they have chosen some of you, or maybe even all of you. Well that means something bad is gonna' happen. Well, off you GO!

Leila was the first to react. The stupid old people were busy trying to work out what happened. That was secondary for the little thief. She side-stepped towards her first target, a tall white-haired man. She looked over his body but couldn't see anything of value, other than his armour. Undaunted she moved towards her second target . This one looked much better off; lots of armour and jewellery. She saw his sword, still sheathed and grinned beneath her mask. She moved closer. The grown-ups still hadn't noticed her. She began to pull the blade from its scabbard, slowly so the man would not feel it. She felt the blade become heavier and heavier in her hand until finally it was out. She managed to hold the sword, which was the same size as her, up in triumph for a few seconds before the weight defeated her and the blade clattered to the floor. Leila cursed in a language she didn't even know. It was over.
And what do you call assassins who accuse assassins anyway, my friend?

The Knight watched her carefully from the corner of his eye as she was already in the process of slipping his sword from its resting place. He didn't move a muscle, however, knowing that the girl could easily be over-encumbered in seconds because of its weight and size. Hearing his blade clang on the floor, his attention turns completely to her now and ignores his new surroundings momentarily. Galeus drops to a knee and places his left hand on the hilt of his sword, though he holds a gaze at the young girl. Smiling, his free right hand reaches to her to pat her on the head.

"You're a little trouble-maker, aren't you?" He chuckles, watching her. He seems much more agile in his armor than it would allow him, easily moving to her level. His shield doesn't get in the way, either, as it is latched safely onto his back.

Leila didn't like being patronised, but if it got her out of trouble, she'd take it. She sniffled. I'm sorry, sir. I di'n't mean nothin'. I just wanted a look at your pretty sword. Why's it red? She knew very well why it was red. Any good thief could tell a ruby when they saw one; a half-decent knowledge of gemology was needed so as not to not waste time or effort on fakes, however she needed to play the part of the adorable and innocent little girl.
She took a moment to look around at the odd assortment of people. She saw another knight, as well as an archer, obvious from the bow on her back, and the strange robed man who had been her first target. She looked back to the ruby knight, her eyes wide.

"The sword is red to symbolize the devotion I've put into my practice," Galeus answers, standing to his full height now and looks down at the girl. He shifts the sword's hilt into his right hand and slides the blade along the fingers of his opposite hand before turning it and sinking it back into its sheath. "As a Knight that follows Pyroca's guidance, there's only one thing I do to a thief like you." Once again, a hand reaches to her head and ruffles her hair. "I'll have to teach you that lies rarely get by a true Knight, and taking a valuable item isn't so simple with a vigilant Crusader."

He turns his head to examine the group around him. They are surely differing types of people, and he's never met any of them prior to this meeting. Galeus inhales and chuckles, glancing back at the young girl. "Play nice."

The hooded archer stretched her concealed limbs with a pout. "Well, here's something that doesn't happen to you everyday..." she muttered to herself, almost as a hiss as she stared up at the the pale orb glowing above her head. After she had collected herself, she studied the group of people around her - an odd bunch, which the woman didn't really see as working entirely well together in an entirely productive way. "But a child, for Pete's sake, why does there have to be a child?" the hooded woman mumbled. What could a child possibly offer which is of use? Then again, what could any of them offer to her? Sure, they look like the parts which they claim to be, but until the moment they prove themselves, they're going to deem useless to the archer.

Suddenly, a wild wolf attacked Galeus. It was really large. The fangs freshly stained with its first catch. He reacted too slow, and it slapped the sword away with its large paw.

Astora had been watching the group silently for awhile now. He thought it was rather ludicrous that a thief--much less a child--try to steal the weapon of a well-trained knight. Though he would have intervened, he thought it best to wait and see how they reacted. After all, he did not know how he got here or who any of these other warriors were. This group of people were certainly a strange bunch though. Whoever they were, their clothing and manners of speaking suggested that they were all from different lands. Although he knew very little of them, at the very least from the other knight's words Astora learned of his alignment to the guardian spirit of the flames.

"So there were others with the blessings of the guardians as well...?" the robed knight spoke softly to himself. His train of thought soon led him to wonder if any of the other individuals in this group were able to call upon the powers of the guardians. Astora glanced over at the group again. Should they be allies, the power to call upon the guardian spirits would be a welcome addition on long journeys. However, should they be enemies Astora felt that the ensuing battle would be nothing short of an uphill struggle. In addition, forcing him to use the power of his guardian...

Astora shook his head to clear his mind. Relying on the deity of darkness' powers would only serve to corrupt his soul. Nonetheless, in his long journeys the knight had been forced to call upon his guardian spirit many times, each instance leaving him wondering why the light spirit did not come to his aid instead. Was it perhaps because his people and their kingdom had lost their way?

The young knight had little time to ponder however, as from the shadows a rabid beast lunged at the smirking knight who stood before them.

"Behind you!" Astora shouted as he ran towards the creature. His lighter, less restrictive half-plate armor allowed him to move quickly as he shoulder tackled the wolf in mid-air as it pounced. Both man and beast tumbled to the ground as Astora wrestled with its decaying body. The smell of rotting flesh filled his nostrils and as Astora straddled the beast, he unsheathed his blade--the holy sword of the Kingdom of Lumina--and held it with two hands as he prepared to thrust it through the heart of the creature. He was however interrupted by another one as it pounced upon him, knocking him to the ground. Astora rolled to one knee, gripping the blade firmly in the flexible leather gauntlet of his right hand. His attacker had been thrown behind him, and the young knight now stood between his target and his new foe.

From the shadows, the low growls of many more large wolves appeared, each carrying the stench of decay with them as they surrounded the group.

Sorry for making it seem a bit dark lol. But I wanted to build upon Danny's wolf attack. Besides, wolves normally attack in groups anyway, undead or not... xD

It seemed that the hooded archer had fled when the rabid beasts attacked. But why were there no perusing beasts? Why would she run in the first place, is she a coward? Those thoughts questioning her bravery were interrupted by an arrow flying out from the canopy of a large tree, finding it's way lodged in the collar of one of the reeking wolves who had pounced on the robed knight. The beast howled in agony, distracting itself from it's first target, where as it was trying to find who was the one who attacked it. It's search came to an end before it could possibly start as arrow after arrow whizzed toward it, striking it almost every time.

Weakened but determined, the beast hobbled it's way over toward the tree where it found the arrows were coming from, pushing it's front paws on the trunk. "Well, they're smarter than I thought..." the archer stated to herself with a frown as the weakened beast was joined by another. "Ah, but I like a challenge," she said, pulling out another arrow from its sheath and placing it in the bow, pulling back on the string and sinew.

Before she could release the arrow, however, the new, less weakened wolf pounced on the tree, shaking the branches with the impact. The archer stumbled slightly, pressing against the trunk of the tree for balance. Again the branches shook, causing the archer to drop her bow, which had cluttered to the ground by the two beasts. She couldn't possibly fetch it, because if she did, she'd have to face the two rabid beasts unarmed in order to get the bow, arm it and release the arrow, which is hard under pressure when you have a reeking beast above you tearing you to shreds.

"This... Isn't good," she remarked, clinging to a higher branch, making sure she wouldn't too plummet like her bow had.

The wolves were jumping on where the archer was holding. Their mouths started to foam, they sniffed the air frantically and dangerously. Then, an orb floated above the archer's head. It blinked in a series of patterns, as if it was telling her something. It started to shine brighter and the wolves ran in fear.
