Lillian was surprised when Christian hit on her again. Though, she shouldn't had been. He had done it before but still, she hadn't expected it anymore. She felt her cheeks darken the slightest as she looked at Christian with wide eyes. She couldn't help but notice, even with all the blood and grit on him, he was still handsome. She felt a smile slowly spread across her face and she shook her head, not sure how to react to that. She liked Christian a lot. He was keeping her sane through all of this. She didn't like the way his face turned back into that cold facade but she knew it had to happen. They couldn't joke all the time, couldn't smile through all this. One of them had to be serious and ready for anything. She was still collecting her bearings. She did feel guilty for Christian taking on the weight of a lot of things but she would get there, she knew it. She let her own smile drop and she nodded, ready to get this over with. She was ready to rest and just hope this was all some horrible nightmare.
She was relieved the rest of the scouting trip went smoothly. No other problems. And the best thing was that she had gotten a new weapon. A crowbar which should be very efficient in the end. She was glad to be back in the familiar place of the garage, even with the sadness and pain she felt looking around and not seeing Randy anywhere. She followed Christian into the waiting room. She was ready to just sit around and rest. She was ready for sleep. She put her crowbar on the table and plopped down beside Christian, their shoulders bumping as she returned the smile. It felt so good to just sink back into the couch and relax a little. "Nah, just really tired." she said, hesitating before she shifted a little and laid her head on Christian's shoulder.
