Also, I am amusing myself by imagining the Kor and Rhan encountering a Tassenon.
But I waaant giant ones!
Just kidding, a smaller variety was what I was thinking anyway. Though, even though African elephants weren't used extensively in real life, do you think it'd be an issue if a larger species was used by the Tajirians sparingly for those of extremely high social standing, like royalty?

Let's get stupid! Whoo!
Sure. Just write it along the lines of "Oh, the big ones are almost impossible to tame. A few individuals respond favorably, but not most". A donkey vs horse kind of difference, y'know?
I am amusing myself envisioning an Axis of Awesome spanning... I don't know quite yet, but awesome.
By the way, do you wanna make a joint nation still?

Nation Name: Repharet
Leader(s): King Achiel II
Population: 200,000
Capitol(s): Ga'ava
Main Race: Rephaim
Main Race Description: The Rephaim (singular: Repha) are a race of giants native to their mountainous home of Repharet. In terms of physical appearance, they are grey-skinned humanoids that can reach up to 15 feet in height, and tend to have rather thick body shapes. Their skin ranges from very light to so dark it is nearly black, and is rather tough, despite being just as soft as a humans, just by virtue of its thickness. They are also nearly hairless, males are bald with only scarce body hair; while the females have nearly no body hair and only short, thick hair on the tops of their heads. Their hair is universally dark, black being the most common, followed by dark grey; it also turns white with age just as a humans does. They tend to have thick and heavyset facial features identical to a human, with a pronounced brow and large ears. They do have rather interesting eyes; they appear to be solid black on first glance, but closer inspection reveals this to be false, they merely have black irises and sclera.
Rephaim are obviously incredibly tough and strong; their strength far surpasses that of a human. However, while strong, they are also quite slow, and even an average human can outrun a Repha. This slowness doesn't just pertain to their speed however, Rephaim are slow and measured in almost everything they do, very rarely, if ever, appearing rushed. This is partially as a result of their lifespan; Repharet can live to be 150 years old. However, this long life comes with disadvantages as well, as a Repha child takes about three decades in order to mature and pregnancies last around a year.
Geography: Repharet is a mountainous land, located prdeominantly within a valley located between two high ranges of mountains. The valley itself has a temperate climate, though it does recieve limited, but not scarce, levels of precipitation. The mountains themselves are temperate for the most part, colder the higher up one goes and the sides away from the valley recieve the most precipitation. The highest peaks of the mountain are so cold that they are covered by snow all year long, even in the hottest summers.
The vast majority of Repharet is also covered by forests of massive conifers. The valley itself is covered with rolling hills, with a river running across it, and a large lake near the center of the valley. The capital of Ga'ava itself is located on the eastern shores of this lake, and many of the major settlements are located along the river. However, there are smaller villages located all throughout the valley, and there are even some on the outer slopes of the mountain range.

Meh, I think the actual thread is more important than this silly place. And that should be a lot more active, now that Esgee is playing too.
