Iel Pyus did not get assigned to fieldwork often. He was a tall, stringbean-shaped Turian in a clunky C-Sec uniform; An awkward officer that walked as if his body were made with a bunch of crooked coathangers. Not much of an authoritative air about him. Right at the moment he was wobbling one hand on a railing, straightened up to hide the slouch in his back, eyeing passerbys and bowing his head to the few citizens that marched on past - at least the higher-ups had the sense to assign him to a sparcely populated bridge. From up here he could see much of the Presidium; Restaurants, shopping district, the enormous queues flanking a Hanar merchant stand. There were lots of things to watch and just to take in, and he enjoyed the view. It was the only thing he could say he liked about fieldwork. That and the fact that as a Networker, there wasn't too much to do, at least beyond the computer chair.
Maybe one of the Avina terminals could malfunction. Nobody else but him for that sort of job. It could be his own little rescue mission. The Turian's mandibles clicked and he chuckled, a soft chuffing noise that cut off as soon as his commlink began to buzz. The noise seemed to intensify while Iel patched in.
"-Blake, suspect Renshen Sevecus is escaping an officer in the Presidium. Last known location is the Twin Stars Restaurant. I need all available officers to block the escape routes." A staticky voice strained over the sounds of a thousand wasps buzzing through the communications device. It was an old communications device. He'd never really paid attention to upgrading it, and it showed. It didn't matter now. The urgency, no matter the distorted drivel, was clear. Iel's eyes glanced over the restaurant signs, picking out Twin Stars nestled across from a section of shopping district. Responding calls of other C-Sec agents came in bursts of warped white noise, the Turian cupping a claw over the side of his head. He peered into the crowds of people, flicking open his omni tool and drawing up Dossier files.

The image that greeted him was reflected in the bright orange of the omni-tool's glow. Memorizing it, he then shut it closed and after tapping a few more keys, shifted from foot to foot in anticipation. His eyes never left the scene below.
After a few minutes he found his voice and opened up a transmission, "This is R.N. Iel Pyus currently scouting from upper level bridge. I've deactivated the elevator exit."A few seconds later he closed the line, awaiting any further response. From where he stood, he could pick out the faces and landmarks underneath him. A lounge area nearby, the restaurant, bordered by shopping districts. The view was brilliant from up here. One thing he enjoyed about working on the field.
Networkers usually didn't have to do anything. Today was a different day. And he was fine with that. Totally fine with that.
He drew a long breath and waited.
