Sounds like fun. And, for the record, I'd like some Modern fantasy. Of course, that isn't to say we can't reconcile those two genres.
Looking for 1 more.
So, this is the OOC for the collaborative RP. I am going to make 3 tabs.
Tab 1.
This ^ is the tab that contains every idea being given. If we use an idea directly, it becomes bolded. If we use an idea indirectly (say, we make a few changes to the specifications but generally have the same concept), then it is italicized.
Tab 2.
This ^ is the tab where we place the ideas being used. If an idea was a change up of a submitted idea, then I will place an italicized number in [brackets] at the end of it.
Tab 3.
This ^ tab contains every major character used and their current status. We will come up with character sheets together and what the criteria are for an NPC.

Modern Fantasy sounds like an interesting take on things. It depends on how "Post-Apocalyptic" the RP is; those kinds of genres get very messy, very fast.
Love. You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
How bout a Sci-Fi Post-Apocalypse? Possibly after a massive war? Just a thought. Science Fiction is my forte lol

These sound interesting. And if any of you dont know, we dont HAVE to have a post-apocalyptic rp. I just thought i might as well put n a suggestion. Imhonestly up for anything. And cant sci-fi and modern fantasy be mixed?

Yes, they're very similar so it'd be easy to smack em together. Possibly a science-fiction on one planet? Modern Fantasy comes in with the animals, races, weapons, governments, etc. Maybe there is an entire galaxy outside of the planet but nobody can leave the planet because of some natural/unnatural force (possibly antagonist?)? Just another thought..

Just saying I'm in class right now. I'll read this in about an hour or so.
Will be moving to 12-hour shifts (7 days a week) until November. Posting will be slow!
Also if I fall behind - send me a PM!
Okay, not too crazy about post-apocalyptic settings myself, to be completely honest. I'm all for Sci-Fi and Fantasy, though modern fantasy has to be done right to keep my interest - mostly because I come here to get away from modern life, so it doesn't really speak to me that much. I'm all, personally, up for some epic adventures as well. I'll probably come back tonight with some time to dedicate to some ideas, depending on who's said what here. =)

Sci-fi modern fantasy works for me. What it were based after a warof some description? Perhaps not as devistating as "apocalyptic", but peerhaps (forgive the unoriginal reference) something like the war between the Aliance and the Indrpndance.

How about instead of nixing the post-apocalyptic thing altogether, we say that the war from ^ that post or something killed off most of the planet's population, leaving the common society to restart? And to add to the sci-fi and fantasy, we could actually have other races come into play. Say, maybe they were hiding or something? Or because of the war, mutations happened that caused these races to exist? Idk. Just trying to bring everything together.
