    Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader OOC

    Alright seeing as we have 4 players (maybe) i have decided to kick this thing off, now the way i would like to run it would be using profiles only to keep track of wounds and stats of the players, plus what equipment they have. No die rolls will be necessary as we will play it free form, you make your attack and describe how you are going to do it (Not a paragraph of detail on them though) but enough so that i know what your doing and how your doing it, i will then decide whether or not you hit, i might roll dice on my end or simply just decide given whatever factors would affect the combat. When it comes to an NPC attacking you guys, i will leave it in your hands to decide on whether or not they hit, or you dodge or parry or use some other means to defend yourself, doing that i leave the trust in you guys to use fair judgment, hoping people won't abuse that.

    Ship combat will work in a narrative way, we will figure that out when we get to it.
    Now i'm going to post the different class options as well as the character sheet, i think i will use most of the character sheet for this.

    Starting gear: Good-craftsmanship Hellgun or Best-craftsmanship Hunting rifle or Two bolt pistols, plus one good-craftsmanship primitive melee weapon of choice with mono upgrade (Sword, axe etc). Micro bead, void suit, enforcer light carapace, bolt shell keepsake, medikit, manacles, arms coffer, or data slate full of bounties or three doses of stimm.

    Astropath transcendent:

    Senechal: Those who deal with trade for the rouge trader, and social situations.

    Starting gear: Bestcraftsmanship hellpistol or common-craftsmanship inferno pistol. Best-craftsmanship hellgun or common-craftsmanship bolt gun. Xeno mesh armour, autoquill, data slate, micro bead, multikey, two sets of robes, synskin, chrono, cameleoline cloak.


    Void master: Pilots and gunners of starships and fighter crafts.

    All right they are the classes available, to make things much, much easier i highly suggest you guys download the rouge trader core rulebook, and other books.

    All my stuff is on my home computer so I will get my sheet up wedsnesday.

    I also just noticed Seneschals, the guys in charge of keeping track of money and stuff have a standard option to start with a boltgun. That is some hardline economics.

    They do get to start with a damn melta pistol though...while the rouge trader doesn't start with something that strong.

    Wait, so the inferno pistol is a melta weapon? i am sorry but your potential equipment setup is; Bolter, melta pistol, and oh shit I just read the rest of the Seneschal equipment. It is like the 40k equivalent of a ninja/book keeper/butler/surprise badass.

    The other classes have some nice gear and a few surprises but the Seneschal, i can see how they balanced it so people would actually want to play the economist guy.

    yep, he is the assassin, arbiter and adept all mashed into one bad ass class. I think hes the best jack of all trades class, in my game the player who plays the seneschal is easily the greatest character.

    Awesome guys, im hoping everyone will have access to a core rulebook so we can actually do the exp system and everything, that would be pretty good, As for the explorator you get to begin play with two bionic implants (Bionic limbs, Bionic Lungs, Bionic heart, Bionic gastral system, Bionic eyes, ears, smell etc)

    I do and I did not use the 500 exp left from character creation as I was not sure we would be using exp.
