Homestuck OC Roleplay

SBURB Omega has just been found.
And unbeknownst to the beings of Earth, the apocalypse is coming with it. Whether it's been torrented, dropboxed, or ripped from a friends computer, a group of kids have at last obtained a copy of the game.
It's time to play.

As the players overcome obstacles, both personal and in-game, they happen upon remnants, clues, traces, of something far greater than just these new worlds, something greater than their own stories. Evidence of another session long before their own; long before their paradox space alien friends. These traces may be the only way to piece together a broken game, and achieve the ultimate goal.

The pages of a great space player's journal are scattered about their session, and their unstable existence seems to be causing unbalance within the session. The idea of 'juju' had been changed into these pages, the powers locked in them, along with certain abilities and functions in the game. The players of this session will use these new found means to keep paradox space in tact and the horrorterrors at bay at least long enough to escape to another session if it that's what it comes to.




Rules:

• Posts have to be at least 5 lines; if you don't have enough to say, don't contribute.
• Speech must be in quotations (“”), thoughts must be in italics. When typing for your pesterchum, you may use colors and your quirk and such, but those are the only times. I do not want to read an entire reply with your troll's frickin quirk, sorry.
• No god modding, of course.
• Grammar makes you 20% cooler.
• Only use your quirk when typing in pesterchum or I will cut you I swear to glob.
• Mild cursing is okay, and it's better if you only imply it.
• Make things to the point.
• Don't emote the hell outta every post in the OOC or I will cut you I swear to glob.
• Don't hesitate to ask stuff. HS is rather complex and I have no life, so I will explain or I will look it up for you.
• You can only have a max of two characters, one troll, and one human. The human is mandatory, the troll is not. And note: THE TROLLS WILL BE SIDE CHARACTERS THAT WILL BE USED LATER AND ONLY SLIGHTLY INTEGRATED DURING THE BEGINNING.
• Usual sticky rules apply or I will cut you I swear to glob.
  
  
• We will probably pre-write pesterlogs before we post them in IC, meaning we will probably be doing some PMing to make sure we have the chats the way we want them w/o clogging up the OOC too much.
• There will be points where we will just suddenly change from humans to trolls. We might even work out a schedule in which this happens.
• I cannot stress this enough that this is a human centric rp. I know you guys like your fantrolls, but they will be side characters until much later.
• There will be no mention of canon characters. The only reference to them is Calliope's pages. Also, do not say that your character 'is like gamzee' or something because that's dumb and uncreative.

Land Disc.: Dark and dusty. Half of the planet is hollowed out like a string instrument, giant f-holes being the only entryway to open air. Containing skies of grey and pools of ink on the rare patches of broken earth. With consorts being ghosts, the shadows engulf the whole realm with a heavy feeling, only being rattled by the constant taps from the distant, keeping rhythm in the land. The highest tip of the land if the beat mesa, an awesome contraption with an ever swaying pendulum. For something like a Scratch to occur, one would need to acquire means to halt the movement.

Personality: Mike, for some reason, seems to have great emotional control, and he can simply ignore any feelings he doesn't want, which for him are the ones he doesn't enjoy. He is therefore almost constantly in a state of optimistic good cheer, as that's what he likes best. He's usually calm, although he easily becomes enthusiastic about something that interests him. Mike has a contradictory set of standards for himself and other people - while he's eager to dismiss others' shortcomings as products of their situation and praise their successes or even well-intentioned attempts, he is determined to always do the best he can to be a good friend and a better person.

Land of Bamboo and Stars: Mike's land is a rugged landscape of mountains and rivers, covered in deep forests of bamboo, under a star-filled perpetual night sky.
Strife specibus: Aikidokind specibus - this strife specibus is not very effective for going on the offensive, but its main strength lies in the ease with which opponents can be thrown, pinned or disarmed using it. This is an unarmed specibus - no weapons are required, although it may be useful to use protective equipment with it.
Elemental Modus: The cards are arranged in periods and groups, and items captchalogued go to a card based on mass and their properties. To retrieve an item, a chemically feasible compound must be formed. For example, if a pen occupied the first (hydrogen) card and the item to be retrieved was in the ninth (fluorine), then they would have to be retrieved as a pair. For this reason, the Noble Gas cards are most convenient as no other cards are needed. However, as he has nine cards at the moment, only one has this property. The speed of ejection is based on how energetic the formation of that compound is.
Kernelsprite: Manga encyclopedia and Protoman toy, both post-entry. Protomangasprite isn't very helpful - all he does is turn up with a whistle, shoot or shield-bash someone, shouting the names of his attacks as he does so, usually Mike, then teleport away, leaving behind his shield if beaten, of which he seems to have an infinite number of available.

Dream: Derse - each night, Mike's dream self sleepwalks down to the library of Derse to read the tomes of dubious provenance contained there. He never remembers much of what he has read the night before upon awakening, though, and assumes it was from a book he read consciously.

In canon homestuck, the kids and troll's screen names go by a specific format of G, C, A, and T. The parts of DNA, actually. (arsenicCatnip (AC), arachnidsGrip (AG), gutsyGumshoe (GG), tentacleTherapist (TT)). I just wanted to keep it uniform, I'm sorry if it makes it inconvenient!
