Name: Xaris Ekballoh
((His name ought to be pronounced 'Kh-aris', though 'Karis' is also valid. Incidentally, it's transliterated Koiné Greek - translated into English it means 'I dismiss Grace'))
Age: 216
Physical Description: When walking in human flesh, Xaris looks like a reasonably fit young man with short black hair. He has a liking for heavy leather jackets and cloaks with concealing hoods, preferring not to show himself too clearly to others; feeling that it would give too much away. He stands at 6'1 in height, with broad shoulders and a fairly well-built physique. When stripped, a tattoo of a holy symbol can be seen etched into his skin - stemming from just below his neck down to his crotch and covering the majority of his torso with embellishments. When in his natural form, Xaris is a medium-sized black, the holy symbol upon his chest visible (but just barely) on the slightly lighter grey scales of his stomach.
Bio: Xaris is, most of the time, a fairly upbeat sort of person willing to comfort others and attempting to cheer them up. He is however a deeply mournful person once you get to know him, his religious convictions doing nothing to dissuade him from the view that he is an inherently corrupt being - this being the reason that he carved and subsequently inked the mark on his chest. He also has a tendency to fly into intense rages, usually when his religious views are mocked or else if someone or something he cares about is put in jeopardy. He is then an extremely loyal soul to say the least, with single mind and purpose.
History: Xaris was until recently largely disinterested in draconic politics. He was fond of King Soulirus - Xaris having on occasion frequented the court and had, over time, become friends with the late King. However with the King's murder, he found himself caught in the middle of a whirling storm of rivalries and factional disputes. Throughout it all, he attempted to ignore personal feeling and simply support whomever would be the best candidate for the job. Yet over time, the lack of resolution made him bitter and jaded - now, he simply seeks to find whomever killed Soulirus and thereby take vengeance for his long lost friend whose legacy now lies shattered on the ever-changing political tides.
