Char was wandering through the wastes of a village. all the signs, maps, and anything else paper-based had scince rotted away. He wore blue 'combat' trousers and a white, plain t-shirt. No shoes. his claws would suffice, although it was uncomfortable. He used to have a knife, but with a previous run-in with a scout of the HPG he had to leave it on the body as he fled. Unfortunately his scavenging attempt failed as he found totally nothing among the rotten meat, fruit and vegetables in the houses. the contitions were truly putrid and disgusting, and Char would not wish anything like this even on his worst enemy.

A soldier was quietly walking this desolate and dank area looking around. "Man this doesn't look good..." he muttered to himself taking a small scan of the area. "I don't see any good lifesigns yet..." he says to himself holding his weapon quietly. "... This is freaky as hell.."

Char thought he heard something. He was getting paranoid, for good reason. This town must have been picked over previously. Supplies were going down. the HPG had stopped supporting the towns that were remaining. some of them accepted 'Mutants' as they were called but for others they were a valuable source of calories and protein. at least they had the decency to kill you before they cut bits off to eat. the towns the HPG used to support cut the meat off the bone while the poor bastard was still alive. at least, that is what he had heard. I must focus... Char thinks to himself. He tries to hide, or at least blend in. everything was rotten, and everything absolutely stinks. even the food he finds, if he finds any, is around 10 years past its expiry date, the last time he ate one of those he was sick for several months. Not very nice, especially when you need to run in a moments' notice. he felt envious sometimes of those who were 'normal' who could live in the HPG's shiny cities, almost 'free of crime'. he had heard this from other, human, 'Pure' scavengers who for some reason or other were exiled. For some it was murder, others not. he was on friendly terms with most of them, and others, well, they just kill anyone they find. Not very nice to be around. OOC- wow, long post

Vex was quiet he was sure he heard something around it could be a mutant that was dangerous but it could also be a peaceful one. He went towards the sound he did live in one of the better cities when he wasn't on missions or living in a barrack. He sighed quietly. "Going to investigate the sound that I heard... I just hope It's friendly..." he held his weapon and went into the building Char was hiding in. "... oh man what a smell..." he says quietly coughing. "I really hate going to these places... seeing what devastation the bombs had... I mean the mutants were just people and animals before... why can't we just accept them obviously some re vicious and need to be killed but some are civalised at least a bit..." he sighs talking to himself. "I can't sympathise with them though... I am on a mission."

Char heard the footsteps. Oh god, oh god... Kinra said to himself. There was a brick on the floor. white, like the rest of the building, that was probably laced with asbestos. He held it in his hand, and leaned against the doorframe, hoping he could take whoever it was by surprised. he hoped it wasn't a HPG - they sometimes had 'life alerts' that brought a whole batallion of them to the soldier's position when he either died or requested backup. there were rumors going about, in whatver communities there were set up by 'Mutants' like him, that there was a land someplace where both humans and non-humans could live in peace. Fat chance.

He was actually getting closer to char he was in HGA armour seemingly talking to himself he had heard rumours of places where humans and mutants could live together himself not like he seemed to care as much he just wanted to make sure both were either happy or separate. "Oh man this is freaky..." he says quietly. "COme out or I will fire if I find you." he seems a bit scared from mutants sometimes there was some strong ones that could hurt him.

OOC- in the helghast-ish armour or not?
IC- Char had to make a decision. to let himself go and have certain death, to run and hopefully evade the patrol - years of running from them had made him efficient at this. Or he could fight. with the new armour these guys had trying to hit them with a brick wouldn't make them shrug. There was a hole in the roof near him, but in full view of Rhyss. He had to make a decision. He threw the brick into the doorway to hopefully make the HGA soldier flinch, and then climb up. this was a solitary, un-attached building however, so he would have to run into the city if he had any chance of surviving this encounter.

(he is for this mission and most missions if he's in a zone/area like this well most of the time)
Vex saw the brick and looked annoyed. "You know throwing bricks won't help also just to say I won't shoot you if you do not attack me." he says to him stepping back a bit knowing about where Char was. "To be honest unlike other soldiers I give mutants like you a chance."

As Char climbed up, the roof began to give way. He managed to run a foot or two then it gave way, making him fall into the other room.
The room was normal, with a carpet, 2 doors, one leading into the room Rhyss was in and another to the area he was scavenging previously. as well as a open window. He scrambled to his feet as fast as he could and then he jumped through the window - (they never expect it) scraping against the broken glass. Blood ran down the broken glass and onto the floor, giving away his exit. He ran, hoping he wouldn't fall and be spotted.

"Well... it seems... what ever it is it's gone now... but I think it is in the other room..." he says a little annoyed. "Well... anyway..." he says quietly looking around to see if there was anymore life signs in this room and then went into the other room quickly seeing if he could catch up with the being. "Hey... calm down I am not going to hurt you." he says annoyed as he didn't see where Char went. "oh man... I just lost a potential danger..." he says quietly seeing blood on the window and looking out quietly to find him.
