1x1 RP Interests (Casual)

I've been looking for some rp partners that I work really well with, the search has been difficult but I haven't given up. I'm hoping if I rp with enough people I'll find more than one that I bounce ideas really well off of. I have a few different genres I love to play or would love to try. I'd really like some rper's who are open to rping a lot of different things.

My Basic Requests:

Please be able to post at least 1 paragraph. I usually post 2 - 3 and it's hard to reply to a bare minimum effort.
Be willing to run ideas back and forth with me. I find my best writing and the most fun rp's come from a pair who is willing to communicate and bounce ideas off of each other. That's how a good story builds.
I can play either male or female, but in heterosexual pairs, I prefer to play the female.
I love romance rp's, but I don't like to bounce right into the romance, I like it to be a gradual attraction between the characters.
With romance comes erotic scenes, but I don't want those to be the soul purpose of the rp. I want a good story first and foremost. My rp's don'g have to have erotic moments, but I'm not against playing them if they come up naturally.

My schedule:

I do work a full time job that keeps me pretty busy, but I do try to make time to post at least three times a week or more. I work Saturday - Wednesday but I get off pretty early and every now and then I'm able to take my laptop to work and post there. Just don't get impatient with me and I promise to keep you informed if I get too busy. I ask that you do the same. Do not just stop communicating with me. I understand better than most when a pair just isn't going to work, but be honest with me.

This is a rough outline of the things I like to work with. I have basic story ideas for each, but I want to keep it open so that we can come up with some ideas together. I'm also open for ideas that you might like to try. For Cannon rp's I prefer for us both to play as original characters, but I'd be open to playing cannon characters if there's a good story line idea.

Also in cannons I like to include other character interactions, obviously we aren't the only two in the world, but I do ask that we both be able to NPC basic interactions with other character occasionally. So let me know if you're interested, and if so, in which one and we can start talking.

depends on what kind of story you're up for. I've got a lot of different story ideas for each of the things listed above.

Well, I'm not familiar with a lot of your fandoms, except for the Hunger Games and Disney, and generally I dislike role-playing fandoms, unless it's just using the "world" of that fandom as a setting. Zombies and Post-Apocalyptic I've never really done, but I like trying new things. Possibly paranormal, but a lot of paranormal themes I do not like, so it all depends. Natural Disasters, I'd be interested in what you had in mind for that one, and Fantasy is a pretty broad spectrum too.

With m fandoms I tend to go with all original characters but using their pre-existing world, like with The Hunger Games, I'd probably suggest we set it in the future, I'm not sure if you've read the books though so it's hard to do that unless you have. Zombies are fun to play with and easiest to do with only two people to worry about instead of a whole group, that doesn't even have to be post apocalyptic to be fun. Paranormal can be fun but I don't like being the only one to think of scary scenarios for those are always acting out the role of the 'ghosts' single handedly.

Natural disasters are one of my biggest fears in real life, which makes it a really interesting concept to play. We can take it a few ways, being trapped in a building that's about to collapse. Strangers stuck in an elevator. Or maybe we're in the heart of the storm and need to figure out how to reach safety before we're killed.

I've done a lot of Fantasy, that can go in any direction really. I usually base the story off of the character I'm playing.

Well, I've only read the first Hunger Games, but a lot of my friends are really into the series, I've kind of absorbed random knowledge from them. Zombies sounds like it could be rather interesting, although I'm not sure if you mean characters vs. zombies or characters are zombies, I'm not particularly interested in playing a zombie as anything other than an NPC.
Paranormal actually sounds pretty interesting, depending on the type of story and what kind of "ghosts" you had in mind, but I always liked scary things.
I like your ideas for Natural Disasters as well, I never thought of role-playing something like that, so I'd be open to try it.
Do you have any kind of preference as for what you might like to do?

I'm up for just about anything, we could start with one and if we don't like it try another? If we do the Hunger Games we can go into the past instead of the future, play through one of the old games as contestants that were never mentioned.
I'd rather not play as a zombie either, more like the survivors. I like the idea of being trapped somewhere temporarily safe with a small group of people trying not to panic and come up with a safe way to escape. But we could also play as people who already know each other, Brother/Sister, Boyfriend/Girlfriend that have been seperated and are trying to get back to each other.
I have tons of ideas about the ghost thing, I love playing with the supernatural ideas and I love playing horror, it's fun. It's pretty much universal, but I have an idea about a group or in this case a couple of college students having to complete a thesis together or else they'll fail the course. They decide to experiment with a rumored paranormal entity, thinking that it's bogus they decide to use some CGI effects to create a sighting and act out a paranormal investigation, only to discover that the rumors aren't made up and find themselves trapped with a dark entity.
We could also go a little more Paranormal activity with it and have the entity attached to a newlywed's house.
I've never rp'd a Natural Disaster one yet, but idea sounded fun xD

Well, I prefer a thread if it's all the same to you.
I've really just been looking to get involved in a story, since the latest RPs I've been in are either dead or dying, I just want something that will last a bit longer.
I've always thought a Hunger Games RP could be pretty fun, but I like your idea for Paranormal too. I feel like I could probably do any of these, I don't have a preference at this point, and they all seem interesting.

To be honest I'm more likely to keep up with a 1x1 thread that PC, I tend to forget I have messages waiting for me lol.

Well we have two option we can do more than one and make multiple threads, but that runs the risk of us ignoring one for preference over another, but that could happen anyway. Or we can just start from the top and work our way through. If we decide we don't like the rp we're working through we can move on to the next idea.
