Kamilah
Age: Twenty two
Personality: Hard-working, stoic, and keeps to herself. She is extremely focused, and rarely seeks out fun. The exception to this is magic tricks, which she greatly enjoys, though it is a solitary pastime. She is warm and caring with her friends, and especially loves children. She is not naturally aggressive nor does she rejoice in violence, but she is a hard adversary and capable of acting without giving in to mercy when dealing with her foes. She is hopeful for the future, but...tired. Despite her exhaustion and the lack of end in sight, she will never give up. She drives herself nonstop, and is internally her own worst critic.
Appearance: A bit asian-European with influences of middle-eastern. Her dark brown hair is cut into a shag bob, and she has one silver eye and one brown one. She is petite and compact, with lithe but not bulky muscle, typical of a runner or a tennis player as opposed to a soccer player.

Background: Kamilah is, for all intents and purposes, an orphan. She has been on the streets since she was about twelve, sort-of transitioning out of the group homes which never have enough space to take them all in. She has a mysterious benefactor whom she is unaware of, however, who has paid for her schooling and training. She still continues lessons with her language tutor, an old woman in the slums whom Kamilah has been close to since childhood. She spends most of her time training or working at a group home in the slums of New City, the only place she has ever known.
