Like high school, popularity here is relative, and does it really make sense to try to fit perceived expectations? If you piss off a few people by asking for help or venting, what of it? They don't have to look at the thread, and there's quite a few people who seem eager to cheer you up and/or help you with your problem. I'm sure spam can feel like 'teh 3l1t3 clubz' because of how close knit the people who call this forum home are, but as many people will say, don't take anything people say seriously. If somebody's a crusty jackass, it's not representative of the entire forum. I've never felt excluded whenever I post here, and the couple of times I've got in small spats with people, it's easy enough to ignore it and move on. Don't let people get to you, focus on the nice people!

It saw it and it wasn't memorable enough that I can recall much of it. Asking to be cheered up with maybe one or two lines complaining before that I think, so less of a rant than the thread probably makes it seem.
