A note

As I'm currently trying to find an actual job, and dealing with other things as my free time has kinda crashed, and doing two blorb bits of comicy goodness, the 5-10 a day updates will be slowed down to a 'couple' updates per day on the game ( as you have already seen, no? ), and a daily update on the comic. If I can manage more than a few game updates, I will, but don't expect it to be the norm ( some days will be exceptions as my schedule fluctuates ).

BECAUSE OF THIS, there will be a change applied to handing over character control.

In that, it won't happen unless there's extreme circumstances that prevent the person from being here ( family emergencies, giant hurricanes, etc ) as the pace will be a bit more slow and relaxed, and you should be able to toss in a command safely at the new rate of updating.

Based off the original Blorb, Burke, and the idea I had earlier, I've modified it a bit, so instead of everyone trying to control a hodge podge of blorbs and such together, everyone instead gets a single Blorb to work with in the same setting. You may only control your own Blorb.

Game will be simple enough, more an interactive comic really.

You first 'create your blorb'

How do you create a class?

If I accept it, I'll give your Blorb a single item ( a weapon, or tool ), and a 'special skill', of sorts, to make you more unique. While others can take your items ( and you theirs ) they cannot EVER ( no matter WHAT their class is ) copy your special skill.

Please, no repeats on classes.

A series of coincidences will eventually help bring about the desired goal, although more lofty or challenging goals will take far, far more time for them to come about. Unfortunately, you still can't fully account for the stupidity of others.

Skill : Blorc Blooded, because of your origins from the Blorc Clans, you have Blorc Blood in your veins, making you stronger, more resistant to heat, and such. You also have a nifty horn.

Skill : Iaijutsu, while you may still attack in the traditional since using your weapon out in the open, your main skill comes from how you pull your weapon out to fight, as you're able to propel yourself in nearly any direction as you unsheathe the blade, and make a strike in the same turn, before sheathing it back, all in the blink of an eye. This takes one turn of prep before happening, although a true master could probably link a chain of multiple Iaijutsu attacks.

However, getting up to that height... will require some thinking, and some planning. Also, damn thing is pretty hard to control, and you can't really multitask all that well while using it.

Others, however, can calm them down ( maybe ).

Ohhi. Welcome back.

I can sorta do that. New characters are obviously found in the OP. There's all sorts of random chatter and bickering contained in this thread and a few others, which I'll summarize somewhat at the end of this post. For more important stuff...

This thread has every image Elendra has drawn for the thread in it. The first and second sessions are found a few posts down in Sophi's spoiler in handy gif form. Third and fourth sessions are in the OP.

Because this thread got too cluttered with commands and chatter, Elendra made this thread the official command input area. This thread is now sort of an OOC thread, though the completed images are still posted here. Any commands posted here will be disregarded, they're only followed if put in the other one.

The Bestiary will tell you what we know of creatures in the world so far. Blorb types are named by Elendra, players (mostly Ace) have named all the monsters.

As for what actually happened, well, shit started happening as the map expanded. A pack of hogs (two Alphas and an Omega) were found to the left. Further on is a group of blorcs that are hostile to invaders but perhaps friendly to neighbors who don't overstep their bounds. To the right there was a chasm that turned out to contain a tentacle monsters (he was named Pithulhu). After bridging the gap the players found more trees, a lake, and an already built tunnel system underground. The players split off into two main factions (described below), one on each side of Pithulhu's chasm. Players on the left killed the Omega hog over there and started digging some fortifications. Players on the right got to building and exploring the underground tunnel system.

Then night fell. Night is fucking scary. Night monsters spawn anywhere there's sufficient darkness and no blorbs around. See the Bestiary for a listing of all of them and what we know so far. Currently the only thing that seems to really protect us is having wooden shelter up. Each side has some, though the right side has only a little box that can fit ~4-6 blorbs in there. Everyone else is screwed. We're currently only about 10/72 turns into the night, so expect much death, mayhem, and terror before we see daybreak.

For the factions, they initially split into two. The Confederacy of Independent Blorbs (CIB) formed up to take the land on the right side of Pithulhu's chasm with Foxes as their leader, their goal being to explore, gather resources, and craft stuff/build shelter. The Confederacy of Blorbs With Balls (BWB) formed up to hold the land to the left of the chasm with Jster as their main leader, though they seem to have a council leadership formed of himself, Ace, and PrimezTime (I'm not 100% this is the case, just what I've gathered from things they've said); their main focus is combat, having most of the combat classes on their side, though they also have plans to breed Alpha Hogs for a food source and to strike up friendly diplomatic relations with the blorcs to the west. Yes, both named themselves a Confederacy, idk why. Jaxi was displeased with the opposing factions and formed the Friends For All (FFA) alliance, which has negotiated free roaming on the lands of both main factions, though this is sort of contested by some BWB members. There are also some completely unaffiliated blorbs and a couple subgroups formed that aren't super important.

There was a lot of talk of war and such, even during the night with terrifying monsters approaching from all sides. Jaxi and others tried to push for peace and cooperation. Eventually, quite a few of the CIB members left the group (I left and joined the FFA, Foxes split off into his own group with plans to take over the gatehouse the CIB built, Herzinth joined him I think). Others have talked about considering leaving as well. Basically, the CIB is imploding (Sophi was named the replacement leader when Foxes left) while the BWB remains largely unchanged. Most of us just want to survive the night relatively intact, but others are intent on slaying the night beasts. We'll see how the situation develops later on.
