Hmm, hey, can the picture we use be 'art' but 'not anime style'? aka, drawn but detailed, cause, I suck at finding suitable 'real' pictures.

Also, I'll mention, I personally don't like 'assignment' systems, though I understand wanting to avoid somebody doing something stupid like giving themselves a dragon who vomits black-holes, such a system can occasionally back-fire when someone gets something they desperately didn't want to be stuck with. granted, such happening to the 'character' can be a useful part of the story, it flows much better when that kindof thing is 'planned' rather than thrust upon the player without them having a clue before hand, or a say in the matter as to what they might be getting.


Also, should whatever character I come up with in the morning get accepted, I hope you mind him letting his dragon 'speak through him', or him learning how to, cause I promise, he will get tired of 'relaying' things because the dragon can't talk, and would rather let him just operate his own speech temporarily to get everything said much faster.

That's fine. Just make sure it's realistic.

Well, I'm a littttllleee bit hesitant here. Your character can be, observant, if you will, and know what his dragon is trying to communicate.

For example, when your dog barks, and you just know that he's hungry, or needs to go out, just by the way he's acting.

But I'm a little against the dragon directly talking through your character.


Also, on the assignment system, if the receiver really feels like the dragon x human pair would be a hindrance, then they can appeal. It's not like I give you a dragon and it's a done deal.

EDIT: i had a change in plans about the number of people I'm gonna accept. I'm only accepting three others, so there will be an even number.

Hmmmmm, Well, since the connection between our characters and their dragon's hasn't been explained or anything, we don't know what to expect from it =3 though I think i get what was meant by 'realistic fantasy twist' now XD

QUESTION: Can things that 'some' people irl believe are realistically possible for a normal human to do, but other's refuse to say is even possible, be included? cause I've looked into a lot of things over the years =P some may be useful character-wise ^.^

And I don't mean the claims of 'oooh, I can kill you with my mind' or 'I can make evil spirits murder you', XD Something like those 'druidic' types who can supposedly can communicate/empathize with animals or something. Could also be described as things done by Native americans and Monks as well... I actually met a girl once in school who would talk to the trees XD

To put it more simply, it would be a tool that allows a certain person to communicate better with their dragon XD rather than the 'guessing game' that comes from trying to interpret a pets actions. I know what your reffering to though, I can usually guess whether or not my cat wants to go to the door or something XD but half the time she still goes straight for the food bowl even after being fed... she's a little fuzzy pig XD


on a side note, after suggesting that, wouldn't it fit better with your 'realistic' theme, and with the 'dragon's can't talk and such' if you're character could interpret the dragon's thoughts in such a way rather than the dragon being 'capable of speech' while the rest aren't? unless you imply that it's a physical difference like he somehow developed vocal chords, rather than he's just 'smarter' than the rest and learned to speak.

A whole lot more factors come into play when you say 'realistic' =3 heheh

Anyway, time to finish my CS ^.^ and to avoid it being a surprise, Among the loads of wierd things I've researched over time, Dragons are the thing I've learned the most about.
