I'm looking for a small group to craft with me a world of terror, secrets and discovery where we may spin delicately a tale with characters we may insert and remove from the world as we see fit. There will be death and misfortune and quite a bit of fright but there will be also excitement, triumphs and unveiling of long undisturbed truth. I want this to be a collaborative piece so I don't want to bring forward any ideas for now. May we start with the setting? In what era may this tale start?

I am very interested. The grotesque and horrific is my preferred genre.
No matter where you put me, I can guarantee a "joy ride."
Do you want it supernatural or kind of like a thriller? We could do a haunted asylum/building (characters try to escape the lost souls) or we can do a plague or something that turns the characters against each other. I'm just throwing out random ideas :x I'm seriously up for anything.
I like the sound of a plague. Probably in the Victorian era?

Sounds great. Like an American horror story type of thing.
I want this to build up slowly though, a bit like Japanese horror stories, there will be plenty of fright just not of the jumping kind but the one which lingers, you know?
They could be slowly taking over the hospital from the inside and making it better, like one of the experiments worked and they survived the plague? The problem would be that they would have to continue the experiments to try to find what cured them.
