Alright, so here is a fantasy I had in mind that I actually plan to make into a comic some time in the near future.
A land of magic...there are towns and cities... There is technology such as cell phones and cars etc. Magic also exists in this world by? The source which is magical crystals found from this Earth like world. The more crystals you gather, the more powerful or more experienced a mage can become, if you do have the calling of being a mage and if you do have the knowledge and know how to apply it in order to use your crystals well. How do you obtain crystals? By finding them by doing deeds or doing quests, etc.
So mages are not common, there are also warriors, nymphs, elves, orcs, dwarves, etc. and other humanoid races in this world. But they aren't really common or seen often. They stick to their own kind.
Under strange circumstances will all of us meet together and party up, you can be a person with no experience whatsoever and grow through out the story, you can even be a defenseless character that does not have any special skill whatsoever and that is fine. That makes the roleplay more realistic. You can grow in other ways other than having magic, such as in character or skill, etc. In fact originally if anyone wants ideas as characters, I originally had a human woman with no powers whatsoever, with a man who is a mage and her cat companion that tags along with them in their journey together. They go around doing deeds and quests.

So what do I have planned for as the story goes?
In this story, we will all meet and help one another obtain our goals or find our purposes in the world. Whether it be small such as own a shop or something more such as becoming the number one most powerful or something, we'll try to help each other make our goal until if one or more of us becomes antagonistic, and go to the opposite side which is hindering us from our goals and desires, or life purposes. I don't really want that to happen, but if anyone wants to start off as an antagonist then go ahead by all means if you'd like. Just make sure you state it in your character sheet.

A particular any sort of fantasy vampire character i have pretty much story is designed around the city and it's ruler.
Kingdom name:Randos
Kingdom ruler:Relari the prophet of madness
Kingdom region:
The kingdom is almost entirely comprised of cities, with architecture like such. The rest is flat farm land
Kingdom background(Nothing huge just some background info on your kingdom):The land doesn't have much history besides two things. They are dominated by religion, and the leader of the country is typically a tyrant who took over by force, because he had the gods in their favor. The current ruler being in power for over 300 years promoting wealth and profit, beliving in a highly communistic way of life since he worships the force of order and eqaulity.
Other:The kingdom is known as the home of the monsters as it is the major source of lycanthropes, and necromancers. Spirits have also been wondering the streets since Relari came to power.
I'll explain what Relari can do if you want.
The lore associated with it would be nice as well. Hence ghouls, vampires, Lycanthropes who change on anger or thrill.
