The Blood of the Saints
At the dawn of creation with the world forming from darkness to light and void into congealed shape, good and evil took up residence amongst the land. It wasn't until the creation of humans and their ability to choose between the two that either had a true force to move its cause into the ever-changing future. In his wisdom and providence, the creator sent warrior angels, guardians to keep a balance between that of heaven, and that of hell. The Master of the fallen would not be deterred and became very wise to the ways of the holy and even more so, to the ways of man.
In his brilliance he devised a way to send his foot-soldiers onto the planes of earth, namely through weak human souls. These demons would sleep into the unconscious victim as they sleep deep in the comfort of their beds, unsuspecting of the manifestation swirling deep in the pit of their chest. These humans, once changed, could wreak havoc in the physical world, giving evil the 'hands and feet' it needed to do its bidding. Over the years, the Master of the fallen became more and more acclimated as to how to find hosts and once his offspring were planted in them, how to control the human. His subtly and armors of camouflage were just enough to throw off the angels that moved about the earth in search of them.
In response, the Creator sent more angels of male and female origin and he gave them specific orders to remove the demons, but to leave the host unharmed as they were precious to him - a gift from his son to his spirit. These angels were the trained warriors of heaven, but on earth they would take the form of the lesser creation and walk the earth as a human. They were to be called exorcist and their work would be unending, heartbreaking and soul straining. Many would never return to the glory of the heavens, but it was a chance we were willing to take.

This is your story as much as mine, so twist and turn and have fun shocking all of us with the events of your exorcisms. I'll throw larger plot points and we'll come together as a group rather quickly, but I want you to all start out as "newbies" that have been trained in heaven and deposited on earth. My exorcist will be there to assist you from time to time and you can help each other as we move on, but only for this initial scene when you jump in - let's see you at work on your own. *wink*
Give me a CS and I'll open an IC early this week if I can get my classwork done.
