Spent an hour trying to find out how to disable and re-enable IPv4 in Windows XP Professional, unable to remember how to navigate it for the life of me. Didn't work. Gave up on accessing the internet again until I could fix it.
Rebooted computer.
Internet works.

One day my old HP laptop wouldn't turn on.
So got a screwdriver and took it apart as far as I was able to, just 'cause I could.
Then I put it back together, and it worked perfectly.
Go figure.
My computer's screen will randomly go blank. Dismantle it, check graphics card or w/e, put it back in, nothing. Randomly works ten minutes later. ?_?

XP had IPv4 controls?
I just refresh the DNS server and attempt to reconnect.
But now I've got a 7.

Well the problem here is that you still have XP.

Today I let a friend log into his Steam account from my laptop. I tried to log back into mine once he was done, but apparently the password I remember using is completely wrong. I tried to do the whole "enter your username, then we'll send an email to you with a code to change the password" deal, but it turns out today is the day my old email address was shut down, and I had forgotten to update Steam with my new email address.
This renders 4 of the games on my computer completely useless. FUCKING HELL.
I don't know what to put here right now.
