Lost in the bowels of time (Interest check)

"Does it....work?" Claudia scoffed at the nervous lab assistant. He had never been in the wake of such brilliance. She, of course, didn't blame him. After all, it's not every day that one invents a working time machine.

"The more important question, m'am" A deep masculine voice said from within the shadows. A large leather combat boot stepped into the light. "Is it safe?"

"Heavens, Sam! You mustn't sneak around in the shadows! You could give one a nervous breakdown! And Another thing!" She began in a huff, "I run some very delicate experiments in her-" Sam chuckled,

"Dear god, Claude. Get a grip, will ya?" She grimaced at the barbaric military commander. "Answer me woman! Is it safe?"

Claudia didn't quite know the answer to that question. She had yet to test it out. "Well....I haven't tried it yet.."

"Well, try it!" Sam had began to grow quite impatient with the woman lately. "Get some test subjects!"
The scientist sighed. There was no talking calmly with the ape. All it was, was yelling and dramatics. Claudia sighed and picked up the phone, dialing a few numbers, "Yes Walt? Get me the local paper. I need to place a wanted ad."

That's obviously where we come in, After answering the ad, they attempt to send us only one minute ahead, but on accident sends us to a time we can all discuss and negotiate.
