What are the latest movie you saw and what did you think about it?

So what are the latest movie you saw and what did you think about it?

The latest movie I saw was Open Graves, it is a horror fantasy movie about a group of surfer kids playing a game made out of the skin and bones of an executed witch. I think the movie was okey, the story was thin and it never explains things like why would the Inquisition make the Mamba game and how did they know how to do it? But all in all the characters where fun, the death scenes somewhat inventive, this is not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination but I thought it was okey and sort of entertaining.

In the Theatres, the last pic I saw was "Zero Dark Thirty." It lived up to the hype and I loved it immensely. The last movie I saw was the 1957 film, "The Bridge on the River Kwai." I watched this when I was in HS at age 15. Back then it was a real snooze fest. I didn't get it and wondered why we had to watch it for all of 3 seconds. Then I dismissed it with the realization that we didn't have to learn any boring concepts about the English Language. As an adult, I loved it. The interactions between Colonel Saito and Colonel Nicholson were outstanding. It was a test of wills and the underdog won. Then to see Colonel Nicholson, played by Alec Guiness (Obi Wan Kenobi) realize at the end of the movie that by building the bridge and fighting to preserve was in effect a betrayal of everything he stood for in his past 28 years in the British Army. Kwai was better than Dark Thirty; but both were awesome.

I watched The New Daughter. I liked it, the ending was a little disappointing and it was a bit slow, but it is not a bad movie. It is about a struggling author who is trying to raise two kids alone so he moved into a large house by an ancient burial mound and then suddenly his teenage daughter starts to behave strangely. The movie have some good suspense.
