With an abundance of energy, the dust cloud forms a delightful ambiance for the Ultima Weapon. It continues to dine; another quarterly intake that brings it closer to full compacity. The drainage also helps the ex-SOLDIER to get a better read on his adversary. It guides him closer to where Phantom is positioned, who has a fledging attack. The possible hill of his strength.
Kuraudo looks around, searching for the sand wraith to get a visual. He has no such luck until a power spike catches his attention. Even through the hazy feeling being in the dust cloud, it was tremendous. Such billowing force leads him to Phantom's exact location. He knows that whatever his foe is doing, something huge is underway.
In the moments thereafter, a resounding *BOOM* spreads through the lagoon. It was the heavy discharge of a multi-elemental projectile, consisting of wind, sand and galvanic current. Kuraudo defends himself from the cannoned threat posthaste. He arranges the Ultima Weapon in a horizontal manner, resting its width against his left hand. And within five tenths of a second, a huge blowout rattles the land.
Water splashes everywhere and the ground splits. A superficial tearing that runs well into the woods. Though the gash is deep enough for the lake to seep into the freshly made trench. It's roughly fifty yards in length, and three feet in both breadth and depth.
The ex-SOLDIER, who was knocked out of the air by the blast, picks himself up. He stands in front of a mound that'd been lumped together from the impact. For that very same reason, Kuraudo is no longer within the borders of Phantom's traps. Beyond the brinks of his tracking ability and chakra-muddling nimbus. The aftermath left him dirty and suffers minor damage to his backside. If it weren't for the Ultima Weapon deadening the attack, Kuraudo's injuries would've been worse.
The mitigation gave the Ultima Weapon its final power boost. It'd absorbed a portion of the desert lord's cannonball assault. Now it shines brilliantly, an opalescent radiance that's never been seen until this day.
