For as long as man has walked the earth. So has the many other extraordinary species that also inhabit it. These beings have interacted with humans for century's without being noticed being depicted as myth as legend. As time passed however the two worlds gradually came together. With humans now aware of the supernatural forces they coexisted despite a few bumps and cracks. Everything is on the line when an alien race; the Zemain and their leader, a conquerer by the name of Ve'raln marks the Earth as part of their conquest and attack. The naturals and supernaturals must now fight together to protect their home.
Most of the world has been occupied by the Zemain. Very few cities still stand after the attacks. New York City is the only city free in the United States and is the main headquarters of the U.R.D
The U.R,D- What was formerly the U.N, the United Race Defense Force is a coalition between all the nations and races. Brought together to combat the Zemain.

•No Godmodding.
•All races are good, as long as they are a real thing (with the exception of gods and demigods, which are just off limits.)
•If you do romance, keep it PG-13

Powers/skills: slightly enhanced senses, and strength. Great strength, speed, and flight in his demon form. Unlike a real demon Ben can't control his demonic form. Being in it longer than 20 minutes causes him physical pain so he opts to use it sparingly.

I have a couple questions:
Can this be in the future? Like 2100+?
Can I make a powerful, god like character if I dont use him for combat and only use him during a few parts of the role play? I am thinking of one and think im going to have one of his "servants" come fight on his behalf.

Race: Fae mage
Powers/skills: Can summon fairies to help him, can use blast based abilities...so yeah lasers(in moderation of course) he can also create a energy absorbing shield for a snap amount of time
Appearance:
Weapons: Zeal keeps a dagger with him but mostly he uses his staff, an enchanted rod of metal with some magic runes etched along it, a gem sits on the end of it,
Bio: Zeal grew up in one of the few forests left, he was taken in by mages when his parents suddenly disappeared, he took after them and grew up learning a large array of magic, he chose to fight the Aliens when he learned they are the reason his parents disappeared
