Mmmmm. I'll just check when I get home tomorrow and see if there were any more CS's posted. The good news is, we can still start now even if no one else posts, hahaha.

Unless, of course, someone begs for more time.

Let me do a little research before I get a CS up. It's been a little hectic (no excuse, of course!) but if you'll allow me a few more hours, I should get one up and running. Though, I do have a few questions. I'll be editing this post with whatever questions I can think of, because asking questions is fun!

The only question I have so far is how the posting schematics are going to work. Oh, and I'm probably going to make a nerd-type sort of person. Y'know, the one kid in the group who's addicted to MMO's, and is dead-set on making the highest GPA possible, score an awesome scholarship and get the hell out of whatever rinky-dink town we're in to make themselves a big name and a contribution to society. Something along the lines of that, hehe. Might take me a bit to find a picture I like, so would it be okay if I described my character's appearance in words?

I'm pretty excited to be making a CS for this, hehe. Even if I don't get accepted it's fun doing things like this!

Ooof. That's a good question. My best idea would be to integrate a posting order. I did a roleplay before with a posting order and it actually worked out a lot better than I thought. The only problem is, like, well let me give you an example.

1: *interacts with player 4*
2: *interacts with player 1*
3: *interacts with player 2*
4: *...what?*

You know? Maybe, I can put in a posting order during certain, important parts of roleplay. I'll have to put some more thought into that.

Also, your can describe your character with words if you want. The picture is preferred only because it can save the writer a bunch of thought. Go right ahead!

Name: Ashter Raynes
Nickname(s): Ash
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Appearance: Ashter stands at a decent 5' 4" and weighs in at about 120 lbs. She has mid-back length brown hair that still holds the relics of once maintained layering, forest-green eyes, and her skin is more on the pale side due to her introverted nature. She tends to stick with the casual dress of "T-shirt, sneakers, jeans and a hoodie" sort of fashion, and you'll know hell is about to freeze over if you ever see her without it on. Her hair is usually up in a bun or worn down, albeit both options are done rather messily since she's not much for appearences. Ash isn't much for purses either, so whatever she can carry is usually stashed in her hoodie pocket or the pockets in her jeans.

Personality: Ashter is a pretty quiet kid, choosing to explore the fantasy world of MMO's rather than explore the forests in her own backyard. Having grown up in her parent's cabin-style dwelling her entire life, she's dreaming of making her way out of "the sticks" by attending a top-of-the-state university and making her name as a contribution to society. With such goals in mind, you could say she's optimistic and confident about herself, but her love of video games comes from her insecurities about facing and mingling with people. If she's not in the library studying, she's probably at home questing with her friends online. The few friends she has in person are ones she holds very closely to her, and when she gets a text from Brent to go view the meteor shower, she begrudgingly ends her quest to go and see what all the ruckus is about.

Short History: Ashter is an only child, and a rather grateful one at that. Her parents are middle-class, her mother being a school teacher at the local elementary school and her father being a welder for one of the few construction companies in town. She herself is a wiz-kid of sorts. In essence, imagine her as that kid in your class who ruins any chance of a curve ever on any of your tests. Yeah, that kid-- you know what I'm talking about. Her drive to rid herself of this backwoods town is what pushes her so hard to do well in school, and her plans after graduating high school is to attend Texas A&M on a scholarship, majoring in microbiology and eventually working for the CDC as a pathogenic microbiologist.


Other:
-Ashter has known of Brent's existence since grade-school, though they didn't become "friends" until somewhere along the lines of middle school. By friends, I mean that Brent would say hi, Ashter would respond and...maybe she'd lend him her notes if he asked. That's generally the extent of most friendships Ashter has in person, though most of her online-friends are emotion based. Her greatest challenge will probably be overcoming her fears and inability to have a decent relationship with someone in her community.

-Ashter is deathly afraid of snakes and spiders. She also knows how to shoot a gun, and will gladly waste ammunition shooting all the snakes and spiders that are brave enough to cross paths with her.

Yo, I shall have a CS up within the hour, I was sleeping earlier =P I think, given the realistic theme, I shall base him off myself, a bit of a mechanic to give myself a greater investment in the RP, ya know, minimize possibility of losing focus on it XD

[I actually had a lot more info I wanted to elaborate on, but it seemed that it was more popular here to go with somewhat less xD So I purposely excluded excess elaboration.]

Name: Shane O'Roich [designed afte rmyself or not, I wouldn't use my actual name or appearance XD]
Nickname(s): The Irishman
Age: 17
Gender: Male

Appearance: Shane stands at about 6'4", not especially 'bulky' but is certainly well worked physically, but he's got the classic look of an Irishman, as well as 'longer' Red Hair [stuffed up in the cap in the picture].



Personality: He someone expectable as a guy with Irish blood, getting into fights easily, sneaking alcohol when he gets the chance, playing with his accent. He's the type that doesn't handle disrespect very well, and were it not for having a couple of open minded friends around, he'd be getting in a lot worse trouble than he normally does. He actually developed a habit of fascinated research into different things, like his irish heritage, martial arts, or even the super natural, dragon's in fact being among his favorites [literally], In order to keep himself distracted from people who could easily insight his rage with a few choice words. Along with that fascination comes a lot of time on his laptop thanks to the internet.


Short History: Shane actually lives 'on his own'... probationally given his age. Up until very recently he lived with his parents only a short distance away from where Brent and the other's live, who were home almost constantly, to such a degree that the 'tedium of constant contact' was getting to him, and being talked to as though he were a chore boy wore on his nerves. So he took a chance, and rented out a small house much closer to the other's neighborhood where he could easily be far closer, and got himself a little job at the nearest grocery store, which would be enough to maintain the little house he was trying to handle all on his own.

His 'little house' is decorated with collectible weapons and small statues of things that he'd accumulated over years of birthdays and christmases, as well as his favorite out-let of rage without punching someone's face, An array of gaming systems. He also has a little pet lizard known as an Uromastyx, and frequently vanishes into the nearby forest to go exploring, and to keep himself fit, or to experiment with some more controversial things that he's researched in his supernatural fascination, not that anything 'really' happens.

His pet lizard, who quite frequently is with him, being small enough to hide in a pocket or under his jacket if it's chilly enough.

Shane always makes jokes about him looking like a tiny dragon, even though he's just a lizard critter.

Other: His Knuckles are worn, callused, and often bandaged [whether injured or not] from Practicing Irish Martial Arts, that is to say, Bare knuckle boxing, Kick Fighting, Grappling, and Stick Fighting [They're not very imaginatively named, but those are legitimate Irish Martial Arts.]

He Might play sports, if he didn't end up over-doing it and hurting people.

He's grown 'numb' to basic bully insults from years of punching people over them, but the more imaginative variety may still get his 'fur raised', so to speak.
